Any way to have cell information clear if the name of the cell associated with the values changes.

I working with two worksheets (Task Analysis and Answer Validation) and I would like the content that is entered in column A of the first sheet to appear in the corresponding row of column A on the second sheet.
I can easily do this with "='Task Analysis'!A2" in cell A2 on the second sheet.
My problem is that if there no value in a cell on the first sheet I get a zero in the corresponding cell on the second sheet. How can I eliminate the zero fill?

I want to copy cells content from the sheet1 column A to sheet2,I was tried by the function Sum but problem is some of cells which i tried copy have combination letters and numbers as content.
Maybe, specific things is because i wont copy cell A2 sheet1 to cell A2 sheet2.

I am looking for a solution, where is able to take certain cell info from the same template (used on different sheets) and record that in a single row on a summary sheet. E.g.
On each sheet, we have a customer name, contract number, quantity ,sales foreign value, sales local value, charge description, charge rate. These sheets are per customer.
1. I would like to create a record sheet and by using VBA macros, record the information off each sheet
2. Each time a new sheet is create the record sheet is automatically updated with the new information

Columns 4 through 8 are automatically populated via formulas I've created, after Columns 2 and 3 are filled. What I would like is a macro that does the following:
Copy the data from the first column ('Billy') in Sheet 1 and put it into the second column of Sheet 2Copy the data from the second column in Sheet 1 ('Bobby') and put it into the third column of SheetNow my formulas will populate the other columns.Take these "results", all of the info currently in Sheet 2, and then paste (values only) them into a new sheet called "[Sheet1.B1] x [Sheet1.C1]" in this example, it would be "Billy x Bobby" 4. Repeat with every combination of non-duplicated column match-ups (every column gets matched with every column once, and once only):
a. Billy x Bobbyb. Billy x Sallyc. Billy x Joed. Bobby x Sallye. Bobby x Joef. Sally x Joe
So, in the end there would be a workbook with 8 sheets.

1 is a Master sheets with all prices of products etc etc.
2nd sheet is an update of all products that have changed in price.
There is a unique code for each product.
What i was hoping for is a way where on the second sheet the product (using the unique codes assigned to the product) is looked up on the master sheet and the NEW price on the 2nd sheet replaces the OLD price on the Master sheet?

I have two sheets
One is the master and the othere sheet which has the raw data.
On each sheet you have a unique code for the product which is the same on both sheets.
From the raw data sheet i want to the weight for that product to be inserted onto the master sheet.
(the problem is that both sheets are not in order so you cannot just copy and paste the column)
the unique code on the master sheet is G9 and the unique code on sheet 2 is A27 the weight on sheet 2 is r27 and want the corresponding weight for the product to appear on the master sheet in column BI9.

I am using VBA to create a word document (.docx). This word document contains plain text content controls as well as picture content controls. I then use VBA to automatically select a picture based on the code below

After the document has been closed down I try to open it again and I am told "The file cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents."
When I click details it says "Unspecified error" and "Location: Part: /word/document.xml, Line: 2, Column: 0"
If I click ok it says "Word found unreadable content in "". Do you want to recover the contents of this document? If you turst the source of this document, click Yes.
Clicking Yes opens the document with all the contents and it is now renamed to Document 1. If I click no it does not open.

I use this to read cell content, add some text/characters (ie. [ and ]) and change the properties of the complete cell

Formula/macro/etc that would enable me to have content of a cell changed based on the content of another cell in the same row.
Example: cell in column D says "PSA" - so I would need the cell in column H for that same row to read "Radio"
I would need an entire sheet scanned to review for these occurrences and make the appropriate changes. I also would need the formula to be inclusive enough to scan for variations in column D cell content (PSA 1, PSA 2, etc).

For a table like the one below produced for the sake of example (actual is much much bigger) I want to make it list rows that are true for a certain column for a certain variable in the matrix. So for say water terrain, which types of activity can I do i.e. swimming. Or for Offroad the activites which I can't do i.e. Run and Swim.

I am running into trouble with too much data accumulating on the clipboard in XL2007, so is there any way to set cutcopymode=false (or some other function) so that the clipboard is automatically cleared after every paste event throuout a macro project without having to restate cutcopymode=false after every paste?

I have a UserForm called Menu. The first line of code behind the OK button says
Menu.Hide
When I run this using F8, it behaves itself and the menu disappears after the code line Menu.Hide. When I click the OK button to run it normally the menu stays on the screen partially hidden behind the next sub menu.

I have 4 listboxs on a Userform populated by rowsource
I have code that will not allow conflicting selections of the list boxs
EG listbox1 conflicts with listbox3
listbox2 conflicts with listbox4
What I am trying to do is when the user clicks on listbox1 and listbox3
I clear the selections from 1 and 3 leaving no highlted blue in the boxs
My code runs it clears the first listbox and not the second
I have tried using boolean to clear them but it is the same thing
here is my code below

I have two linked ComboBoxes on a form. There are 10 Textboxes populated by ComboBox2’s choice. These controls are situated on two frame controls which are used for visual groupings only. I would like to clear everything except Combo1 when Combo1’s value is changed. ( Combo1 is a filtered key list using the dictionary. Script code)
I’ve written a small sub that is called to clear the textboxes, but its not reliable every time. It seems that if the scroll bar is used, and the user chooses Combo1 choice “NUTS/SEEDS”, the boxes aren’t cleared. In fact it will show the “Walnuts” info in Combo2.

I have a file with Workbook Activate/Deactivate and Worksheet Activate/Deactivate commands in it. When someone is trying to copy information from or to this workbook the VB automatically clears the clipboard (or at least that's how I understand it), which makes it so they can't paste that data anywhere else. How can I prevent this, but still keep my current commands?

I have a spreadsheet that has I have protected. On this sheet I have a button labeled Reset Form. When you click the button it it goes to each Unprotected Cell and deltes the contents. I created this by starting the macro and then tabbing to each and every cell and deleteing the contents I then ended the macro...
Is there a code that I can use for to clear all unprotected cells as opposed to creating the macro manually?

I wrote a little program to highlight the cell that the cursor is currently selecting. The code is in Workbook_SheetSelectionChange. Everything works great, except that the paste buffer now clears itself so I cannot use paste/cut.

regarding listboxes within user forms.
1) I need to capture the amount of selections (regardless of what they are) that were made by the user within the listbox. How can I do this?
2) I want the user to be able to use the form continuously, there I have created a command button to clear the options. I am able to clear the options for the rest of the inputs but not the listbox.

I have 50 check boxes not on a user form, but on spreadsheet. I attached a button that says "Clear All" (meaning 'clear all checkboxes'). I can write a sub smth like

... and so on for all 50 check boxes. Any simpler way to do this in a loop? Smth like

My computer runs on Excel 2003 but my Laptop is on Excel 2000, the problem is I have the below code on a spreadsheet I wrote on my Computer which runs fine but when I open it on my Laptop it comes up with a run time error it doesn’t like the clear contents line. If some one could explain to me why it is happening and how to get round the problem so it will work in Excel 2003 and 2000.

My workbook has much copy and past from one sheet to another after a web query, eventually it freezes.
I suspected all along it had something to do with the Copy/Paste and the clipboard required to be absoultely emptied.
The code I used to "clear the clipboard" is:
