I am looking for a macro that will convert the active sheet in an Excel 2010 file to a PDF, attach the PDF to an Outlook 2010 email message, and fill in the subject line and recipient address which are the same each time.

I'm trying to format my email generated of excel sheet to have an HTML formal before they are sent out using MS Outlook.
I have googled, searched your forums and also tried to figure out a solution with the existing helps on the internet. I need help on how to format emails genarated out of my excel sheet. I know a bit of HTML syntax but a newbie to VBA. I'm guessing the formatting has to be done in the Emailbody text function in my code.
I'm also trying to understand the logic behind the code and also learning excel vba bit by bit at the minute.
I am looking for a macro that can export excel spreadsheet data to html. I found one that looks perfect for my needs on another site, however it will not work. I have tried to contact the site's owner, but his site does not seem to be contactable any longer. I thought I would try to post my problem here. The script gives me runtime error '76' and debug highlights the following lines:
Open pagename For Output As fnPrint #fn, top$;Print #fn, body$;
Original script is as follows:
Code:
'
' Here are some values you can set to suit yourself
'
' Any file names that are blank -- i.e. "" -- will not be used
' and will not adversely affect the appearance of your page
'
Const html_title = "Interesting Web Sites" ' appears here
Const page_title = "Some of my favorite 'places' ..." ' shows on page

Below I have my code that works great. What I would like to do is make it pull the .HTMLBody from a cell value instead of inbeded in the code so users can change, just like to I have it below for who I am sending it to. The issue is if I do it the same way I loose my signature and the font, size and color I have below. How can I do this.
range("P16") would be the 1st line of the mesage
range("P17") would be the 2nd line of the mesage
range("P18") would be the 3rd line of the mesage
All the sendkeys below copy a range and paste it below my message as a picture currently. That is fine.

I am setting up a spread sheet to calculate call duration it would be a great help if data could be entered using one hand IE use decimal point on the number pad instead of the colon is this possible. I will need to subtact start time from end time to get the duration
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with some emails that I send out automatically. I use Ron de Bruin's code to send with the Range to HTML function from Mail Range/Selection in the body of the mail.
My issue is when I view in OWA, all the formatting is lost. There is no issue viewing in Outlook itself, but some of our sales people use the web app and the view is corrupted. Back when I did this manually, I would just copy and paste the range of cells into the body of the message, and there was never any problem with formatting in OWA.
Is there a setting that needs to be changed, or have code for pasting a range into the body of a message that works?
I have a standard mail format which was saved in my hard drive(mail includes attachments and few contents in body) via excel. I've several vendor (#)numbers in my excel sheet, everyday I've to send a mailer to different vendors with necessary documents.
1. Vendor number EX: 12345 was hyperlinked, when I click on that 12345 standard mail format should be opened in outlook and the Vendor number 12345 to copied as TO:12345 CC: defined names in the outlook mail.
I have Excel and Outlook 2010 64-bit. I'm trying to develop HTML e-mails that are a mix of text drawn from cells on one sheet and picture objects on another. I have no problem with the HTML body text, but I cannot figure out how to reference and place the Shape objects. I am using:
Code:
...
.HTMLBody = "" & Range("F1").Offset(i) & Range("G1").Offset(i) & ""
...
and I want to embed, between the text brought in with cells F and G, a picture object like
Code:
Sheets("Images").Shapes("Picture 1")
I've found code that brings in a picture from a file but, for portability's sake, I really want to have the pictures maintained on the Images sheet and not in a separate file. However, I cannot figure out how to connect the HTML code with the spreadsheet object.
I've got the following code and have been trying to make the cells in column 1 align TOP LEFT but haven't been able to.

Due to one of our business requirement I have to fetch so many users Alias name through Outlook.
I am following below steps to achieve that Open new mail, giving user's name in to list, press ctrl+k, then right click properties. In properties I use to find alias name of user. I want to automate this process through excel sheet. I want to provide names in one column as Input to excel sheet and want to fetch alias name in next column of excel sheet.
I need to send an Outlook email from within an Excel sheet. I have a command button with the following codes:

I have a work book with 3 sheets. Sheet 1 is the main sheet and sheets 2 and 3 will use (I hope vlookup) to update 3 columns from info in sheet 1. my attempt at a vlookup call in sheet 2 is: =VLOOKUP($b3,[master_AoJ_2.xls]Sheet1!$B$3;$B$65,false)
my understanding is that: - $b3 is the cell in sheet 2 that will be updated as a result of the vlookup call. - [master_AoJ_2.xls]Sheet1!$B$3;$B$65 refers to range $B$3:$B$65 on sheet1 of master_AoJ_2. it does not work... infact I get nothing at all. when I type the call into cell $b3 of sheet2 excel thinks it is stariaght text. this is how I coded the function call =VLOOKUP($b3,[master_AoJ_2.xls]Sheet1!$B$3;$B$65,false)
I have an excel workbook (Excel 2010) consisting on 30 sheets, I would like to add a command button to one (1) of the sheets that would attach just that sheet and not the whole workbook to my Outlook 2010 email, is this possible. What would the code look like.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any macro that can be used to convert data which have been converted from PDF to Excel. Currently I'm using a traditional way by pressing F2 and enter to convert the data to excel format. It's tedious ( since the data range is quite big) and crammed my finger.

I need to convert my spreadsheet to HTML for my website and purchased SpreadSheet Converter. Since my spreadsheet results need to be SORTED and I used a macro to do this, I discovered this program will not work for me (as the sort function is not transferred and macros don't function.) Is there a program that will convert Excel to HTML AND allow macros to work (or at least the Sort function?)
My spreadsheet program requires input of price data into various cells; then on another page the results are generated and are sorted in Excel. The data only makes sense if it is sorted. Without the Sort, the price data is mixed up and not useful. Thus the web based spreadsheet will not work properly.
I want a macro that will open a without fiile in a folder and convert without format file whose name is like
"cognos.701Z%27%5d&SA=propEnum,properties&ITEM=data&EA=&SS
=queryOptions,options&dataEncoding=MIME&ES=&EM=" to Excel (.xlsx).
Save excel file in same folder and delete above file.
Is there a way to convert all files in folder, in this case, xml in excel format to xls without open them?
I recorded the macro below, but this needs to "Open" and "SaveAs" the current file in folder and there are a few thousands of xml files in folder.
I was wondering if through some ADO or VBA code this can be done without open the files in order to save resources and get the work done faster?
Code:
Sub Convert_XML_to_XLS()
Workbooks.Open Filename:="C:MyPathInputFile.xml"
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:="C:MyPathInputFile.xlsx" _
, FileFormat:=xlOpenXMLWorkbook, CreateBackup:=False '
End Sub

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a workbook that contains something like 50 worksheets and they all contain data with the same columns, for example column A is Project, column B is Project Name, etc. I need to convert data in each worksheet into an Excel Table. There has to be an easier way than manually converting each worksheet into a Table. However, when I group all of the sheets, the option to Insert a Table is not available even though the data starts in the same row and contains the same number of active columns in each worksheet. Is there an easier waty to insert a table in all of the worksheet simultaneously?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have two Sheets, first is Service Data, the second is Log Sheet. In the Service Data sheet I have a column of serial numbers in column A. I also have a column of serial numbers in the Log Sheet, column A.
I'm looking for a conditional format whereas I enter numbers into column A on the Log sheet it will auto highlight the cell if I duplicate a serial number from row A in the Service Data sheet. I would like it to highlight the Duplicated number on the Log sheet. I know new versions of excel make it easier to do this but unfortunately I have Excel 2003.
I have been using code to save a collection of my reports in html format that has work very well until I was forced into using Vista and office 2007. Here is a snippet of the code that no longer works - at least I suspect this is the main problem.
