Prevent Sheet Names Changes & Moving

I'm an intern working at an aerospace manufacturing house and I need to automate a lot of the excel files I created last summer.
Anyway, here is my problem:
I've been making macros but I am worried about people moving the worksheets around or changing their names which will have the potential to mess up the macros. What preventive measures can be taken/ changes in the code? I feel like there is something very simple I am missing.

I have a spreadsheet with a User From that transfers data from the user form to a sheet each time OK is pressed. On my workstation, the form stays in the middle of the screen. On the PC where it is in production, it moves to the left of screen a little each time OK is pressed until it is hard up against the edge. We recently moved to Excel 2003, and I'm wondering if there is a setting in Excel that contols this.

I am trying to design a spreadsheet for planning a project schedule. Down the left are the dates, across the top are the resource names and in the content are the activities being carried out.
Each activity I have is given a two letter prefix, e.g. TD = Training Delivery. I then have conditional formatting applied to each cell to change the cell colour based on the two letter prefix. In all there are six conditional formatting rules.
Now, my problem is that I need this sheet to be really fluid. I want to be able to drag and drop blocks of activities to a buffer area at the side and then drag them into another part of the schedule. However, when you drag and drop (effectively cut and paste) the activities around the conditional formatting moves with the cut content, whereas I want it to remain where it was. I guess what I'm after is a way of dragging and dropping values only.
The best I've come up with so far is an onChange macro that reapplies the conditional formatting to the relevant part of my spreadsheet, but I can't believe this is the most elegant solution. Is there perhaps a way of triggering a macro onPaste?

I have multiple dropdown lists (forms combobox, NOT activex) on a worksheet -- once the user selects them, a keypress on the downarrow will move to the next dropdown list.
is there a way of preventing this? instead, i would like to move focus to the next cell (same column, 1 row beneath the combobox)

I have an IF formula on one worksheet that refers to another worksheet (ex: =IF(Page1!$A13="";"";Page1!$A13). The problem is when I move data from one cell to another the formula becomes #REF. (ex: =IF(Page1!#REF="";"";Page1!#REF)).

I have a worksheet that I will be allowing other to access so that I can get them to input certain data. I will be protecting the sheet to avoid having them inadvertantly overwrite any of my formulae. So, I have a matrix on the left for them to input data into with calculations to the right that they cannot change. Can I prevent them from moving cells within the input matrix

The following attacted program is a name generator. It randomly generates names from the Roster sheet to the shuffle sheet (to be randomized) then displays it on the watchbill sheet. The problem I'm having is that the names seem to be repeating themselves before the entire list is used at least once from the roster sheet. I need all the names to generate at least once then have it fairly repeat the names (but not in the same columns on the watchbill sheet). Can this be done using the formulas I have? I've been trying to figure this out forever, its just a little beyond my level.

Two part question:
1) I'm relatively new to arrays, but what I need to do is generate a list of file names and the sheets within each one. I would like to use an array for this, but since I don't have much experience.... well....that's why I'm here. Can someone point me in the right direction?
2) And the second part of this.... I was planning on using the FileSystemObject to determine the files in a selected folder and loop through that list of files, opening each one and harvesting the required info (file name and all sheet names). Should I use the FSO or is there something built into Excel that might be better (and also limit the number of dependencies for this little "project" of mine).

Is it possible to produce a list on a new worksheet of all sheet names and their their internal names within a workbook?
If so I would like the tabbed name's to begin in say A2 with the corresponding internal name in B2.

Is there a way I can compare sheet 1 Column A, with sheet 2 Column A, and then move any duplicates from sheet 2 over to sheet 3.
For instance,
Employee Numbers that match in both sheet 1 and 2, remove that row from sheet 2 to and insert it into sheet 3.

Is it possible to prevent a particular sheet from being deleted?
I have a workbook that contains sheets (of course). One of the sheets
serves as a "Help" sheet. I don't want users to accidentally (or intentionally)
delete just this sheet.

I have been searching for a way to prevent a user from changing a worksheet name. I ran into some code from the post below (see link) but I find that the code lets the user change the name and save the changed name of a sheet; only when the user selects a different sheet does it change the name back to the set name (sname) from the code.
I'm sure there must be a way to make this happen without deactivating the sheet, but I can't figure it out. Is there some other sort of event that could cause this to happen.

I have a workbook with 2 work sheets, when a row has "yes" typed into the "accepted bid" column I would like that row to be placed into the second sheet in the order in which it was entered "yes"
so, if on the first sheet a row, lets say row 10 had "yes" typed into it but row 10-15 on the second sheet had something in it already, the info would have to be placed in the next available row.
I have approximatley 20 rows on the first sheet and the ones that transfer to the second can just be added to it as needed.

Im copying a worksheet and want to move the new sheet to the end but I dont know how to finnish it. I tried to do.

but I get an error and cant debug it.

I have a database that holds client information in columns A through J. I need that data transfered to sheet 2 or 4 depending on what choice is picked from a validatin list I created in column K. The list is either "booked appointment", or "not interested." I would like "booked appointment" data to move to sheet 2, and "not interested" data to move to sheet 4.

I have an Excel sheet that displays 50 rows and 20 columns when it is opened the first time. These rows and columns are the only ones that I want the user to be able to see. The user shouldn't be able to navigate the sheet by using the scroll bars or the wheel on the mouse. I have of course already removed the scroll bars but I don't know how to handle the scroll wheel problem.

Is it possible to make it so that a user cannot delete or add sheets to a work book, except through buttons assigned to macros? I've tried simply locking them, but these sheets need to be accessed to input and manipulate data. I have the macros necessary to delete/add sheets, but right now they are redundant since the user can simply do it manually.

how to move info from one sheet to another in the same workbook? Sheet one has several columns, including company name. Sheet two has company name and phone number. Not all the companies on sheet two are on sheet one (1500 on sheet 2, 200 on sheet one), so a sort-cut-paste won't do it.
If the company name is on sheet one, I need for it to get the corresponding phone number from sheet two and put it in the phone number column on sheet one.

using visual basic on excel and im after some code for a macro to be assigned to a button in a workbook that will do the following task:
1. In sheet "Main Page" Select rows between A4 and D100 that have anything in column C.
2. Copy the data in these rows and paste them in sheet "Invoice Page" in rows below and including 4 without leaving any empty rows, although there might be rows that dont contain data in column C in the first sheet where they are being copied from.

I have one issue with my protected worksheet. Some locked cell contents are linked to cell contents located in another sheet. When I double clicked on these cells, a warning window poped up but also opened the sheet in which the corresponding cell is located. This is quite annoying to have to go back to the former sheet. How can I prevent it ?

I have a workbook with a template worksheet. I can generate new worksheets using the Template, and create hyperlink to the new worksheet (Let's call it "New"). However, if an user changes the name of the worksheet from "New" to "SomethingElse", then the hyperlink breaks. How do I get the hyperlink to be automatically updated to "SomethingElse"?

I currently have a sheet of 20,000+ items and 2 columns. My first column is an part number and the second is a date. Each part number can be show multiple times but will have a different date each time. What I want to do is that the first occurrence of each part number (and corresponding date) and put it in sheet 1, the second occurrence of each part number and date into cell 2, third in cell 3 and so on... not all part numbers are showing multiple times, only certain ones.

So i have been working on this and i am so close. I need to make it so when you enter c in column J it will delete that row and move it to sheet 2 to the next available row. At this point i have it deleting the row and moving it over but it keeps using the same row and over writing the the lines already there. Here is what i have gotten so far.
