I'm trying to get the Find and FindNext methods to work. Column C contains serial numbers and there's a chance that a serial number might appear more than once in the column. What I'm trying to do is get Excel to find the first occurance of the serial number, find what row it's on and then see if this matches the variable 'CurRowNo' (defined earlier in the code). If it doesn't I want it to look at the other occurances of the serial number, find what row they're on and see again if it matches CurRowNo.
The variable 'EngCount is the number of occurances of the serial number (also worked out earlier in the code). I've got the code below, but I get the error 'Method Range of Object Global Failed' on the FindNext line. I have no idea what this error means or why it's happening.
Why am I getting method range of object global failed error message? The error seems to lie in the line highlighted in red.

I have a cet of CommandButtons on sheet 1. The code for these buttons is in the code section of the sheet. A named range is referenced in this code. This named range is on sheet 2. Every time I try to reference this or any named range (from any other sheet), I get this "Run-time error '1004': Method 'Range' of object '_Worksheet' failed"
The last time I had this error I was able to fix it by moving the code to Module1. I tried that here, but it did not work (I can't figure out how to call it from the sheet). CommandButton. Here is the code from the sheet for one of the buttons:

1.) I have excel 2007 and when I recorded the macro yesterday it worked just fine, but today it's coming up with the box to update values. The macro is set to open up the vendor assignment sheet and do a vlookup against the clerk and then return the information to the original sheet and then copy paste special values. 2.) The macro I'm writing (Excel 2010) is a loop that inserts a column based on a variable location, enters in a formula in the first cell, enters another formula in cell 2, then should fill that second formula to the last row, then keep going until the loop ends. There is always a chance that there will be blank cells to the left and right so I didn't use xldown. I've tried writing in multiple ways, but I keep getting the error.

When I try to run this I get a run time error 1004 - Method 'Range' of 'Object'_Global' failed. The part of the code

I have an interesting error that only happens when there is one row of data in the worksheet (sheet2 or "Half Payout"). Rows 1 & 2 are headers, row 3 is when the data starts - if any. With either no rows of data or more than one the coding works just fine. Here is the exact error message I'm getting: Run-time error '1004': Method 'Range' of object '_Worksheet' failed.

I've got an excel spreadsheet that has a search function on it. There is a hidden tab where all the data sits, and a visible tab with a search button where you can enter a reg of a car and it brings up details from the hidden tab.
This works perfectly when I open the excel file that is on my machine. I've put the excel file on the intranet, and to open it you click a link, and when the pop up box comes up, you click 'OPEN', and the file opens up within IE. When I try and search for a reg, I get the following error!

When I run CopyResults, the sheet is opened and the data copied correctly, but I get a runtime error 1004 past method of worksheet class failed, with the line 'ActiveSheet.Paste' highlighted. Don't get this when I run the same macro in 2000.

I have a workbook with VBA which was working fine earlier. Lately i have been getting
"Runtime error 1004" Select method of button class failed.
I am adding buttons dynamically in a loop in a sheet and what surprise me is , i go to debug mode when error pops up and it points to below line

but my code is running in a loop and i can see that atleast 20 buttons were added and it fails to select when it try to add this iteration. It is completely confusing me.

I also notice that when it fails, on select method .. the button was actually added to the sheet with caption/name as "Button 65536" but then fails to select it. What makes the select to fail after adding the button? Could there be anything special with Button 65536?
Is there any better way to code the adding button and setting action and name for excel 2007?
note before entering the loop i am deleting all the shapes with myShape.Delete which name matches "btRun"
I also want to highlight that i don't have 65536 rows in my sheet. I just have 200 rows. and when this error happens it is on row 150 so firstly i wonder why it is naming the button as Button 65536. I would assume it will start with 1 and go on increments.
What makes excel to fail to select an added button in VBA?
I'm using Excel 2013 and I'm getting an issue in vba I can't figure out. (This is something I've done several dozen time before) But everytime I try to copy a sheet in a workbook,

I recently copied in this sheet from another workbook, and deleted all of it's formula names, but I can't copy any other sheets now either.
The Run time Error 1004: Copy method of Worksheet Class failed pops up. What is weird is that I put in a msgbox and
MsgBox (WB.Sheets.Count)
returns a "1" though the sheet has about a dozen sheets within it. I've saved the workbook and even saved it as another name.
The sheet I imported has a sheet number of 77 while the previous last sheet was 23, could this be a cause?
I am not familiar with Excel/VBA and I tried a couple of suggestions with no luck. The excel file contains three forms and three modules and it is intended to calculate and build Electrical panels. It is designed to submit data specific cells from a userform. It works fine when I select and day, 1,2,3, etc. until I get to day 27-31. For some reason I get a Range of Object Failed error 1004 every time. I don't understand what's changing to cause the issue. The red text near the bottom is the one that it tells me is the problem.

I have been creating new sheets, importing data, pulling some values from the data then deleting the respective sheet. I am using:
ActiveWorkbook.Sheets.Add after:=Sheets(Sheets.Count)
The sheet is actually being added to the workbook, seemingly before the error. I resume the code, and a new sheet is placed in the workbook and it errors again. The Debugger stops and highlights on the code above.The sheet count number was 10895 at the error, just as an indicator of how many times the simulation has performed successfully. I am hoping this is something I can fix without having to start over...
