Make Copies Of A Spreadsheet Within A Book - Dates Change Automatically?

If you look at the file I attached you will see the tabs at the bottom are months of the year. I know how copy a sheet but every time I make a new month tab I have to retype the month in the top left corner of the table, in the tab, and other places. This gets really repetitive when I have to do this for literally around 20 other spreadsheets like this.

What I'd like is a way to create new month tabs that automatically rename the month and year in chronological order on the sheet and tab if possible. 2 months it's because I'm constantly having to tweak spreadsheets for my boss. It'd be pointless to go ahead and make a template because then I'd have to go back and change the code for every month. So I just create tabs and edit code month by month.

Automatic Function For Names Or Dates On Spreadsheet Book

Is there a command/formula that will automatically put the progressing date in the tabs of the sheets? Like if I am doing a spreadsheet containing 52 sheets for all the weeks of the year, is their a way I can label the first tab 1-1-2013, and then excel will auto label the remaining 51 tabs when I hold the control key, click/hold cursor and drag the sheet to make another? otherwise I am going to have to manually enter around 1000 dates for the tabs.

Automatically Sort Due Dates As They Change?

I'm attempting to get a column of due dates to update automatically every time a date changes. The due dates are in B3:B15. There is a header in B3. The day after the actual due date, it is automatically changed to the same day on the next month (showing the next due date). I need the spread sheet to automatically sort the due dates from the closest due at the top, to the furthest due date from today at the bottom. Running it manually, or sorting it manually every time won't work. This is for an elderly couple who are having problems keeping track of everything each month. I just need something that will show them the upcoming bills and how soon they are due when they open the workbook. Anything other than opening the workbook is going to be too complicated. I'm new to macros. I've tried to modify some I've found in other threads, but no luck (lots of error messages). I don't understand it enough yet to figure out what I need to change. I've attached a sample sheet that shows the part of the workbook I'm having trouble with.

I have created a spreadsheet containing about 30+ macros and then copied it with a new title eg, sheet2013.xlsm (original) and sheet2014.xlsm. My problem is that every time I open the 2014 sheet it re-connects to the macros in the 2013 sheet (if this makes any sense). Is there a way to lock macros to a spreadsheet, ie open both sheets and use the macros within those sheets?

I have a spreadsheet on sheet 1 with a list of customers and their information. So on column A I have the customer number (i.e. k968, e37, p528,...), on column B i have the customer's name, on column C the street's name, on Column D the house number, on column E the zip code and finally the city on column F.

Right now there are around 600 customers in this list.

I have made a userform with a combobox in which I want to select an existing customer (pulled from the spreadsheet). On the same userform I have textboxes (customer number, name, street, number, zip, city). When I select a customer in the combobox, I want this customer's info to show up in the textboxes. I want to be able to change the info and hit Next to store the changes in the spreadsheet. When I do not select a customer from the combobox, I want to add new info in the textboxes and hit Next to store this info as a new customer. The userform also has a delete button. Then I select a customer in the combobox, this customer (and it's info) should be deleted from the spreadsheet when i hit Delete. So the spreadsheet is variable in length.

Macro Change The Name Of The Worksheet It Copies

i created a sheet and called it "Original" (which somehow is a template), in another sheet i created a big Button named "Create account" ,then i created a macro which copies that "Original" sheet and by default it names it "Original 2 " now that i need a new account each time i click that button to create a new sheet and rename it by the client name i need, in order to keep the "Original" intact as a template. It happens sometimes by mistake that i rename the "Original" one ( The template one) which therefore returns an error when i click the button!

Is there anyway to add to that macro a code which rename that "Original 2" something else lets say "Account" to differentiate it from the Template one?

Or to Protect only the "Original" sheet from being renamed out of the whole sheets i have , in order not to rename it accidentally?

The below code opens up the printpreview window. This does not allow to select the correct (or change) printer it will automatic use the default printer.

Is there a way for the code to open the print window so I can change the printer and select number of copies?

Macro Fixes Macro: Copies Tabs From The Spreadsheet

I am working on a macro that copies tabs from the spreadsheet the macro (button) is located in, creates a new book for them, and then pastes values so that no formulas still exist. The problem I am having is with named ranges. The named ranges do not reference the new sheet, but rather the old spreadsheet. This is fine because the new file is solely for presentation, however, one macro (which selects print ranges based on user selected checkboxes) tries to reference the old spreadsheet once it runs. I would like the macro that I currently have working, to also make this macro in the NEW spreadsheet so that it can still highlight the correct print area when used. The macro does not reference the name of the workbook at any point, it is purely "Range("ai10") type references so I don't understand why it is trying to open the old sheet back up.

I made the following code to merge 2 workbooks together.

The code is to be executed when the user has Workbook A opened. (All sheets in workbook KPISWD are supposed to be moved after all worksheets in workbook KPICustomers).

I keep getting a debug error on the code that is supposed to do the actual move and loop until it is finished with all of the sheets in Workbook B.

i have done a search on this topic and found many similar answers to many similar questions. All specify using Application.Run "workbookname.xls!macroname".

In my code, the filename has an assigned value as the master code goes out to many secondary files - the user selects the particular one they want at the start of the macro. The variable assigned is called "UpdateKAMsFile".

I need to create a spreadsheet, but I want to put a time frame on it which requires users to request an access code from me every so many days. I don't want users in my business to be able to take the spreadsheet and use it should they leave the company. I am trying to make a userform that will update a list in the spreadsheet. Basically if a user types into a multiline textbox numbers (separated by line) like so:

then the macro will paste that data at the end of a list so that each number is in a new cell. The only thing I have that comes close is Range("A1").value = listbox1.value The problem with this is that it will input the entire list into one cell. I have attemped various things, like trying to get the list into the clipboard and pasting, but I haven't really had much luck.

I got a excel file which i use to add invoices on. But these invoices are numbered and in a book.
1 book has 50 pages, i have to write the amount of $$ on it. But i made this file to enter the amount of money on the invoice. And the sheet automatically gives me the total amount of money which was earned when the book is full.

Now i was wondering if its possible to let excel somehow add 50 new lines with the same formulas used in the first 50 lines. So once line 50 has info enter, excel will add 50 new ones with the correct info(book and page numbers).

Can excel do this with some sort of macro?
