Call/Run Macro Within Same Module Using Common Variable

The attached file contains a simplified version of a more complex macro in which a sub routine will be called a number of times to change the colours of cells in different ranges. However, an error is triggered because the a variable and range are not defined in the subroutine although they are in the main part of the macro.
I know I am missing something obvious here, but I'd appreciate any help in knowing how I can define the ranges in the main procedure and then call the subroutine to change values in the different ranges.

When in a ThisWorkbook macro, I want to call a sub/macro in a Module. Usually you can just do a CALL MACRO1, and it will find it. But my MACRO1 is Private as I don't the users to be able to do a Tools, Macro, Macros and see it. So I don't want to make it a Public macro. So how do I call the private sub/macro from within ThisWorkbook?
Can I proceed the sub/macro's name with the name of the module, kind of like CALL MODULE1.MACRO1? Or do I have to make it public?

I am trying to run different macros by clicking various different buttons on the sheet, I then want different data to load into the user form depending which button was pressed. So I have buttons named "SV_1" and another named "SV_2". when either button is pressed then it runs a common macro that gets the name of the calling item. then I want to add "Macro" to the beginning of the calling item name and then call that macro. here is the code that I am working with, when using a watch i can see the value of the variable is "MacroSV_1" when button 1 is pressed but I cannot get it to run the Sub.

I am writing a lot of code and have separated each section in different modules For example, I have one module titled OpenR2D2 and another titled StoreName
I want the sub in StoreName to run at the end of OpenR2D2 but I get this compile error "expected variable or procedure, not module"
Here's the end of the code where I put it. What have I not thought of?

Say you define a public range variable called Inputworksheet and you set it to refer to the worksheet called Inputworksheet. You have a separate string variable with the value Inputworksheet. How do you get this string variable value to call/control the range variable Inputworksheet?
I am getting an excel worksheet value from a lookup function that corresponds to the name of a VBA range variable. Once I have this worksheet value, I would like to use the range variable that has the same name as the worksheet value.

I am working on a customer report template that generates our customers reports and will send them out automatically.
This issue I have now is that the system that generates the raw data for these reports only lists the Customers name in a column with an entry for each line of data, the thing is though that the system has lots of variations of the customers name, even more so if that customers has different departments.
What I need to do is from this list of customer names, I need to automatically figure out what the "common" name is or main name so to speak, and then make a variable using the correct full name, which will be used later on in the code to import correct logos, and direct the reports to the correct people.
Here is a quick example of what data we get raw from the system:
Customer Name:
John Build
Johns Buildings
Johns Ltd Building
Johns Plumbing Department
Glass Doors Ltd A Department of Johns Buildings
Johns Building Corporation
Hole In One Golf Range
This is just an example, we have thousands of clients, so the length, number of words etc can change alot. Ideally I from a list similar to that I would get a full proper result of "Johns Buildings Ltd" for example, this would then be in a variable to be used in code from then on to reference doing certain things with the reports of Johns Buildings Ltd.
You'll notice there is one name "Hole In One Golf Range" that seems to have no relation at all, this is correct, ideally I would also like to build in some error checking into the code, so that rows like that that have nothing to do with the others would get deleted.
So how would you amazing VBA gurus go about working with data like this? I'd prefer a more general answer with explainations that just straight code, as I'm sure I will have to adapt the hell out of it for it to be useful in context.

I am trying to use some code similar to what i have used in one of my Modules in a Userform (The module calls this userform)
I have declared a few variables in the module:
Code:
Public LastRow As Long
Public TabLen() As Integer
Public AHUArray() As String
Public ArrayDim As Integer
and i want to try and use them in a userform (i call the userform through an bit of code that usures that the other subs that assign values to the variables have been used so there should be values in the variables??i think?)
i get to this line in my userform

TabPos = TabPos + TabLen(i)
this is the first line that requires a value to be in the array and it errors: Subscript out of range
I just want a few variable that are used in a module to be available in other modules and userforms.
EDIT:the (i) is decalred in this sub within the userform. A thought occurs, the sub in the userform is a private sub, might that effect it?Also, explain Sub vs Private Sub vs Public Sub?, im new to this! the sub that fils the arrays in the module is just Sub SubName_Click()

I would like to save a module level variable but do not know how to do it. I have tried using the public key word. If I put it in the sub, I get an error when it tries to compile the sub. If I put it outside of a sub, it just doesn't work. Surely this is something easy.

I have a macro that when it runs presents a form that gives the user an option to skip the calculations or continue. If they click Skip then it continues the 'Next CE' . My problem is I can't get the Boolean value to pass from the form to the macro. Here is what I have

I'm playing around with the Worksheet_BeforeDoubleClick(ByVal Target As Range, Cancel As Boolean) function. I have a list of people in Column D that I'd like to move data around if the user double clicks on a cell in Column D. The list is about 158 rows long, and could grow beyond that. I've gotten lazy typing:

What I was hoping to do is use a variable (t) to cycle through the rows and call the various functions. So what I came up with is:

I've created Sub D4(), Sub D5(), and Sub D6() as a test. This didn't work at all as it's looking for a Subtest(). Also, clicking on D5, D6, didn't do much either. Is there any way to make this cycle work, or should I keep typing away?

I have 46 drop downs that I need to call from a main sub. I want to create one loop that will call each one to perform its function. Below is a simple example of what I am trying to do, but where I need help is with the 'Call Y' line. I am not sure what character to use to tell excel to look at what is in the value of Y, not 'Y' itself

I'm trying to call another sub with a variable string. I'm using excel 2007. I get the error "Compile Error: Expected Sub, Function, or Property" on the "Call" code. The want the code to run multiple different subs based on user input. For example if they typed "this" it would run the t sub, then h sub, then I sub and finally the s sub.

Basically, i have a common workbook template that is used by multiple users across the business to request a cost for numerous new products.
Within the template, there is a common section at the top, where specific project information is entered. There is also a table beneath where 1 or many products can be entered, with specific information relating to that product in the same row.
All the submitted requests are uploaded via an email attachment, to a particular sharepoint directory.
What i would like to do in the master workbook is the following:-
1. Open in turn every uploaded workbook within the sharepoint directory and copy the following cells into the master workbook, each in it's own row (or next available), with the data in adjacent cells.... 1st cell to enter data is $B6.
Cells to copy from each sheet:
Common info contained within cells:
$DG$2,$N$11,$N$12,$N$19,$N$13,$AO$7,$AO$8,$AO$9,$AO$10,$AO$11,$AO$12,$AO$12,$AO$13,$AO$14,$BO$8,$BO$11,$BO$14
Product specific info: $U37, $AD37, $AH37, $DH37, $C37, $O37
Depending on the number of products requested, we need to repeat (loop?) until it finds the next blank row in the table. I have hidden a blank row in the table, so there will always be one!
All of the common information needs to be included for each product specific entry.
For each file, once the upload has been completed, i would like the file to be moved to another "archive" directory.
I have attached the template for information. The master workbook is still in development so can't share currently.

The master has rows corresponding to numbered files:
4300 | CellValue1 | CellValue2 | etc
4301 | CellValue1 | CellValue2 | etc
In attempting a simple formula (a couple VBA codes I tried did not work and were probably substantially more than I needed anyway), I made the following:
='CMain FolderSub Folder[concatenate(cell w/file number,".xls")]Sheet1'!A1
This is identical to the copy/paste link formula currently in use except that I am trying to have the actual file number/name generated off the master list instead of what is in the file itself.
Purpose: in case I was not clear on this above, I am trying to automatically populate the master worksheet with the data from the workbook. The current procedure is to copy a line of the data from the workbook, then paste as a link in to the master worksheet on the row corresponding to the file number.

I want to be able to call one user form from multiple ActiveX command buttons. The problem is, the number of command buttons depends on user input on another worksheet, so it's variable.
I've renamed all of the command buttons so they are named "CommandButton" & i, where i is an integer between 1 and, say, 200. I want each of these buttons to direct to the same UserForm where additional information can be entered.
I can't think of a way around the event-handler procedure name.
Sub [Command Button Name]_Click
to call the User Form. I won't know the command button names, because I won't know how many there are (max i) until the user inputs.
Basically, I want to create a For loop through the max i and have the event-handlers call the user form

I am acquiring multiple spreadsheets that do not always match row number, due to additional information on some sheets. By this I mean that the information may be in row 31 on on sheet and row 39 on another, the column location is the same each time. I have been trying Vlookups, indexing and matching plus combination formulas - with no luck. How to get the information I need with a moving cell reference?
I can provide a small copy of a workbook, if needed.
