I am looking for codes to clear the textbox fields while the existing codes transfer the information to the execel page. I have programmed it to transfer the data to the sheet but I can't write the codes to clear the textboxes for the next entry.
I want to program the same command button to transfer the data to the sheet and clear the textboxes simultaneously.
Every day for each date of month I have to copy data from mails to my workbook and a last sheet named report in which I need last row value from 7 or 8 sheets for this I have developed following codes which seems to me very long procduer.
Working with a macro enabled workbook that has many sheets what would be a good code that would save Sheet1 into a new MACRO enabled workbook so that the 'Buttons' (which are linked to macros) on this specific sheet will be the only macros that will be copied to the new workbook as opposed to the rest of the macros that are found in different sheets?
After all the awesome macros I've obtained with the help of all of you, I now have over 30 macros, each in its own module. I have tried without success to re-name the modules with no luck. How is everyone organizing these?
I have a workbook that has 2 similar worksheets. One called "Wood Shafts" and the other called "Iron Shafts" I have the macros worked out for the sheet called "Wood Shafts" and I just realised I need to apply similar Macros to the sheet called "Iron Shafts" (same functions but different values from different columns). Some how I need the code to be able to tell the difference between the two sheets. I am at a loss.
I have a sheet that has a macro on it, I would like to run that macro programaticaly but Im not able to call it using Call mymacro type of code. The code that calls the macro resides in a module and the macro is in a sheet. Obviously they are not talking, is there a way to run it remotely without moving the macro into the module?
I'm trying to convert various codes from one column of an excel spreadsheet into different codes in another column. I was able to accomplish this with "If" statements, however I'm only able to string together seven of these statements in one command. Is there a better way to add formulas for more than seven conversions? Below is a copy of what I've done so far with the seven converts:
What i have at the moment is a module that contains code where i call a different module that i use as a procedure.
Code: If Sheet1.Range("C4").Value < Sheet1.Range("A2").Value Then If Sheet1.Range("K4") = "" Then MsgBox "Please check 06:00 tasks not done yet!" Cell = "Range(" & Chr(34) & "F4" & Chr(34) & ")" If Sheet1.Range("C4") + 0.042 < Sheet1.Range("A2") Then Run "EmailProSheet" End If End If End If
EmailProSheet is what i call but now i want to use the variable "Cell" in the procedure as well?
Code: MsgBox Cell Set OutApp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application") Set OutMail = OutApp.CreateItem(0) On Error Resume Next
As it is now everything is working fine but does not return a value in "Cell" if the procedure is called. Is there another way?
Is there a way to write a Worksheet_SelectionChange (ByVal Target As Range) event in module after creating a sheet in VBA? I constantly delete a sheet, then repopulate it with a new one that is empty, but I need to add some code that happens if they should change a particular cell. It worked when I ran it on a worksheet without refreshing, but as soon as I cleared and repopulated the sheet, it was gone. Is there a way to preserve this?
I have some buttons in different sheets in an excel file, each button has its own code, that is the reason I can not move the code related to each object to another location (sheet or module).
And I have one piece of code in Module1 (Auto_load) in order to execute automatically this routine every time file is opened. Inside "auto_load" routine I initialize some values of some check buttons, options buttons and positions of some objects in diferent sheets, but I can not pass the value of variables between Module and Sheet's code even when I declare as public variables and/or function.
I am running into trouble with too much data accumulating on the clipboard in XL2007, so is there any way to set cutcopymode=false (or some other function) so that the clipboard is automatically cleared after every paste event throuout a macro project without having to restate cutcopymode=false after every paste?
I have a UserForm called Menu. The first line of code behind the OK button says
When I run this using F8, it behaves itself and the menu disappears after the code line Menu.Hide. When I click the OK button to run it normally the menu stays on the screen partially hidden behind the next sub menu.
I have 4 listboxs on a Userform populated by rowsource
I have code that will not allow conflicting selections of the list boxs
EG listbox1 conflicts with listbox3 listbox2 conflicts with listbox4
What I am trying to do is when the user clicks on listbox1 and listbox3
I clear the selections from 1 and 3 leaving no highlted blue in the boxs
My code runs it clears the first listbox and not the second
I have tried using boolean to clear them but it is the same thing
here is my code below
If shOptions.Cells(r, c) = "" Then MsgBox "You have selected conflicting Alterations" UserForm1.Controls(h.Name).ListIndex = -1 *this works UserForm1.Controls(lb.Name).ListIndex = -1 * this does not fire Exit Sub End If
If I change the code to UserForm1.Controls(lb.Name).ListIndex = -1 * this works UserForm1.Controls(h.Name).ListIndex = -1 *this does not
I'm looking to clear the contents of the 2 rows after my previously defined last row. So for example, if my last row is defined as LastRow1, I'd like to clear the contents of thr 2 rows below LastRow1.
I have two linked ComboBoxes on a form. There are 10 Textboxes populated by ComboBox2’s choice. These controls are situated on two frame controls which are used for visual groupings only. I would like to clear everything except Combo1 when Combo1’s value is changed. ( Combo1 is a filtered key list using the dictionary. Script code)
I’ve written a small sub that is called to clear the textboxes, but its not reliable every time. It seems that if the scroll bar is used, and the user chooses Combo1 choice “NUTS/SEEDS”, the boxes aren’t cleared. In fact it will show the “Walnuts” info in Combo2.
I have a file with Workbook Activate/Deactivate and Worksheet Activate/Deactivate commands in it. When someone is trying to copy information from or to this workbook the VB automatically clears the clipboard (or at least that's how I understand it), which makes it so they can't paste that data anywhere else. How can I prevent this, but still keep my current commands?
