Color Function Not Work After Copy Paste From Other Sheet

First I want to copy the calculations from sheet "Calc" to sheet "Cost" then in column J in the same row, the background color will change like conditional format on numbers. The code works when copy the calculations from sheet "Calc" to sheet "Cost" but the color function (codes in sheet "Cost") does not work after pasted in sheet "Cost". But the color funtion does works when enter numbers in Column J alone. I know there must be a simple codes that can do this while paste from other sheet. This code is in module

I have a macro code which gets the file list from a folder i specify and puts it in to an excel sheet as a column. I have then made a drop down list from this so the user can select the file they want.
From this file i wish to copy the data on a sheet that i specify. For example the sheet "dump" from file FR7_19.11.2009.xls (which will be a closed workbook) and paste its content in to the sheet "dump" in Summary.xls
I have a macro which opens up the closed workbook FR7_19.11.2009.xls and copies the sheet "dump" and then creates a new sheet of the same name and content in my current workbook (Summary.xls). However when i wish to select a different file to load in to Summary.xls "dump" the formulas i have been calculating information from this sheet all come up with #!Ref errors. I know this is because the macro i use deletes the old dump sheet before re adding a new one containing new data.
I am therefore looking for a macro which will simply just copy and paste the data from any file i select in to a sheet named "dump" as the data is always set out the same in every file but the values are different. I assume this will then mean that any formulas i use relating to this "dump" sheet in Summary.xls will work because the sheet is no longer being deleted and re-added the data within it has just simply been copied over.

Our small family business has a mailing campaign that we track with excel. However, we're very concerned about users opening the macro-filled master spreadsheet. Instead, we'd like a macro to do everything for them.
When a letter comes back in the mail with a bad address, the user types the Street number and street name such as "1234 Main St" into $A2 of c:dropbox eturned.xlsm, presses the macro button, and it should do the following:
Opens and Searches "Sheet1", "column S", in the file c:dropboxmaster1.xlsm, and finds the LAST instance of the address typed.Selects that entire rowCopies the entire row.Pastes the contents into the row of the active cell in the destination spreadsheet, overwriting what was there before. Such as $2:$2 if the address was typed in $A2.In the master1.xlsm spreadsheet, sets the entire copied row color to "gray".closes master1.xlsm and saves changes.
The end result is that the user now has an identical row of information in their spreadsheet, and the master spreadsheet's row is colored gray indicating it has been completed.
Other notes:I'm open to more efficient steps than this if you have them.There are approx 5,000 records to search through in master1.xlsx at any given time.

I would like the users to have the option of filling in the cells with "RED" by any means.
Here are the conditions or pseudo
If (any cell in Column X is RED)
Then (copy the row to Copy Rows Filled With Red)
If ( the cell in Column X is not longer RED)
Then (remove the row from Copy Rows Filled With Red)
In plain English, if the cell is filled with RED, it is copied over to sheet Copy Rows Filled With Red. Or if the cell is no longer filled with RED, it is removed from Copy Rows Filled With Red.

I would like to implement specific cell ranges from two specific worksheets each within 33 workbooks (which all have several tabs) into a summary page in a separate workbook.
The cell ranges are going across my spreadsheet in rows and I would like for them to transpose into a columns depending on the data which I have separated by catergory on the summary page. They are all on the same location in each workbook which is separated by country. The cell ranges are E26:P37 and I would like to transpose them and have them put below eachother without overwriting for my format on the summary page, how I can put this together in a macro?

For some reason the fill color and font color no longer work! If I set the font color as red, it continues to show up as black!

I have a range of cells in a work sheet "sheet 1 " my objective is to filter this range according to certain criteria (i ve succeeded to do this ) yet what i want to do now is copy this data to another existing worksheet in a certain range .

I'm trying to create a command button on my sheet that when clicked will find all rows in column u that read Engineering Evaluation and then copy certain cells from that row to another sheet. The kicker is that this button will be used over and over again as more entries are entered into the log. I only want each row counted once.
Right now I get a run time error for the "For Each Cell In Application.Intersect(Range("u:u"), target)" line.

Everything seemed to be working until i tried to copy and paste something on my spreadsheet (sheet titled Input Sheet). When I paste anything onto this sheet I see the Paste happen and then Excel just hangs (no errors?). I just left it for over 5 minutes and nothing happened (still hanging). I had to close it down using X
I have LOTS of different codes and different sheets in my spreadsheet. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can go about Pinpointing the problem. Chances are no one will be cutting and pasting but I would like to know why this is happening but have no idea how to go about investigating?

I would like a macro that will go to a fixed sheet, copy the format, go back to the previous sheet and paste the format. My problems arise going back to the previously activated sheet rather than just a fixed sheet.

How would I create a shortcut to automatically copy the contents of cell H1 to cell K1, in other word I would like to hit a shortcut key and have the contents of that cell pasted 3 cells to the right on the same line. I have to do this over and over again down the worksheet. I am working on taxes and want to copy values over to the expenses column as I find them.
I would also like to know if it is possible while having cell D1 highlighted I could have a shortcut created that would copy the value three cells over in H1 to cell K1. That would be the fastest, but I don't know if it is possible?

The problem is that whenever I have any browser open, IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc... the Cut & Paste, Copy & Paste function does not work correctly in Excel 2010.
When I Cut or Copy the blinking marquee around my selection briefly appears and then disappears. When I try to paste, I only have two options under the paste special function: Unicode Text and Text, same with cut and paste, however, the text doesn't actually cut, it only copies.
As soon as I close down any of the mentioned browsers, the full functionality of the cut/copy & paste functions are restored, no need to restart excel.
I need to have open a browser most of the time for work as our system is web based, so closing and re-opening is more than just an annoyance.

I am working with some data that consists of two types of messages: one containing vessel speed and another containing vessel type. Both messages share a common ship identifier number. What I'd like to do is run through column A (ship ID), check column B (ship type), and if column b has a value, to paste that value in all instances of that ship ID.

I need some code that will copy range A1:G38 of the fitting summary sheet then open a dialogue box asking for the following "Please Enter Tag No" once a tag number is entered I would like a new sheet to be created in the same workbook named with the tag no entered previously then the copied cells pasted into it. I have set up a workbook with sheets named for each month.
I have 70+ separate excel files (one for each month) that each have a single sheet I want to copy into the new workbook's corresponding month sheet.
Each file is named different but the name of the sheet in those files that I need will all be the same.
Is there a way I could sit in the sheet I want it pasted to, run a macro that I can point to the correct file/workbook -- preferably without opening -- and then have it copy the contents of the sheet I want (again, will always have the same sheet name).
I want the sheet copied with formatting and all, an exact copy.
This link seemed useful - if i could control which sheet it copies more easily since for me the source data always has a different file name. [URL] ........
I thought I lost that original message so I rewrote everything - differently - then I saw the restore button so I'm leaving both phrasings.
I would like to know if there is a Macro that could ask me which workbook to copy from, select the sheet in that workbook called CAP (sheet will always have the same name but I need to copy the sheet from 70 different files/workbooks) copy the whole sheet with formatting and all, and then paste it in my active sheet on the new workbook I am in.
I want to take data about a particular partner we have (CAP) out of the monthly summaries for the last ~72 months (which each have their own file/workbook) and put them all in one workbook just for this partner, on each sheet by month still.
I am only interested in automating everything I have to do for 1 month, but in a way that would easily let me do it again for the next month, and the next and the next, 70 times.
But a Macro would still be easier than opening each file, going to the sheet I want, copying everything, going back to my new workbook, pasting everything, closing the extra workbook, then doing that ALL again 70 times.
