ComboBox Change Vs After Update

Although I can live with having a Sub run when setting the ComboBox Sub to AfterUpdate...I would really prefer it to be set to _Change. Here is the Sub code that runs after the event:

I used to have a Text box on the form that allowed the user to enter a value for the Weight variable. But they wanted it changed to a drop down combo box so I have changed the form and added the combo Box with the following
Private Sub CmbBx_Weight_Change()
CmbBx_Weight.Value = UCase(CmbBx_Weight.Value)
End Sub

What the user wants now is to have the combo box where they can enter a variable for the first time through and this value gets added to the combo box list. (The combo box starts out empty). And each time after that when the user comes to this combo box, the first value will be there already and they will be able to use that value or enter a new one and each time save this new one to the combo box. I have been looking at the board for an example, but can't figure it out.

Change Value Of Combobox And Automatically Change Values Of Other Comboboxes

I'm coding a userform where there are some comboxes which are popolated by values coming from Sheet2. Up to now I work it out (maybe its not elegant but it works).

Now I would like that when the user selects one combobox the values of the other comboboxes are set accordingly to the grid in Sheet2.

ComboBox Control Source Update With Multiple UserForms

Excel – Forms – Combo Box, cell updating.

I have a form (the main one) which accesses a second form, which accesses a third form. All forms have a combo box, control button and a text box.

The items selected in the control boxes are entered into cells (the base cells) in the spreadsheet, via “Control Source”. The text boxes access these cells and show the selected items, which are then copied to other cells via a macro on activating the control button in the main form.

The main form stays open while other items are selected and transferred. Some of the items may not be changed (reselected) as they may be common. The problem is that after a number of items have been selected and transferred, the base cells for the second and third text boxes do not update after a selection from the combo boxes, and they continue to show a previously selected item.

The problem can be solved by closing the 2nd and 3rd forms and starting again. What can I do keep the cells updating without closing the form down?

Update Multiple ComboBox List Fill Ranges

in A1 there will be a box with LinkedCell set to A1 and ListFillRange set to B1:B5. I now want a similar box in A2, with A2 as LinkedCell. However, when I copy paste the box in A1, it still refers to A1 and B1:B5 (the last part is ok). I can easily change A1 to A2 by just changing it in the properties, but the thing is that I also need these boxes in A3:A100. Someone else helped me out by writing some code, but this is not working correctly yet, probably because I'm doing something wrong.

Also, the ListFillRange might expand in the future. Therefor I would like to know if its possible to select the boxes in A1:A100 and change the ListFillRange to B1:B6 for all at once, or even have a piece of code attached to a command button that recognizes the expanded range and updates it.

So in short: I would like all the comboboxes in column E to be linked to the cell underneath and have and option to adjust the listfillrange. The same for column F, but for this one the listfillrange needs to be O8:O11.

I have one source spreadsheet, where are columns NAME, DATE. I read these data by ADO to other spreadsheet, where I can change/delete data and then run macro for update data in source spreadsheet. The problem: In source spreadsheet is column "NAME" and column "DATE", with values e.g. "Joseph"; 1.1.1980. I read this data to other spreadsheet, then I delete in it value 1.1.1980. When I run macro Update, it messages error.

after rereading data it displays 0.1.1900 What I want to get is that if the cell with date (in other spreadsheet) is empty, the cell in column Date in source spreadsheet after updating will be blank (contains no values).

Calculation Of The Cells Update But Very Many Of Them Do Not Change At All

I've created a bit of a monster Excel model taking in an enormous range of inputs and outputs. Most of the formulas are vlookups and sumif's. The workbook is now about 15meg. I've got autocalculate turned off because of the great deal of time it takes to recalculate. When I do try and re-calc some of the cells update but very many of them do not change at all. If I then go into these cells and edit them (F2 enter) the correct output is given! If I close the book and re-open it normally shows the correct outputs, after a while it goes back to the error above.

What I ultimately want is for a user to only have to change the text colour of one cell, and for the entire row to immediately change to the same colour with it. A text box on a Userform inputs numbers to a cell in a worksheet. I want the number to appear in the text box formatted #,##0.00 However, if I include the line

in either the csDepositTextBox_Change or _AfterUpdate events, it causes the number to be stored as text in the worksheet. Curiously I can put the code in the corresponding event for another textbox and it does not corrupt the formatting.

I am looking for a way to use VBA code to allow a combo box (form control) to change the data in a cell. For example: The combo box could contain Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. If the user selects Monday in the combo box, than cell A1 will populate the word Monday. I have a massive list of items, most of the same items have different detail depending on the item itself and/or region its being sold etc. I'm been using combo boxes to change regions giving the full range of items within that region but different prices etc.

The problem i'm having with combo box or even vlookup is I can only search or change details in rows (row number), and not able to figure out how to change details within a set of columns (vertically). I want to be able to select the region via combo box and change the details within a set of columns (top to bottom).

I have a piece of code attached to a combo box. When selected the code loops through 3, even 4 times for no apparent reason. Has anyone come across this before? I inherited a spreadsheet with a combox box, drop down list for user to select a project by name. The cell right below uses a lookup function to select the code listed with that project name from a list on a separate worksheet. When I edit the codes on the list used as the source for the lookup, the new code will appear as it should.

Coding On Change Function In Combobox And Text Box?

How to make it function able. Here are the details.I have a user form named UserForm1 in the user form I have a text box and combo box. Combobox is named as ComboBox1 and text box is named as TextBox1.

Along with the above 2 fields in form, I have 2 labels, Label2 & Label6.

TextBox1 contains date (which user can either type or chose form calendar), and ComboBox1 will have Employee ID that needs to be choose. Upon selecting both, my Label2 caption should have employee name & Label6 caption should have shift time.

By using formulas in excel I have employee name in Sheet2 cell b2 and shift time in Sheet2 cell b3. Upon change either in ComboBox1 or TextBox1, I want data in Sheet2 cell b2 be the caption of Labe2 and data in Sheet2 cell b3 be the caption of Labe6.

What is the code to get this done, if either of them is blank, then label caption should be blank.
