Code 'To Invoice' Copy The Filtered List, And Paste On Sheet
Oct 22, 2008I have recorded a macro to filter data on sheet 'To Invoice' copy the filtered list, and paste on sheet 'Invoice' in C16.
The code just keeps looping (not looping in a code sense, it just seems to keep flickering the screen like its going over & over) until it locks up 5-10 seconds-ish and then I have to re-start Excel.
The range B2:E22 is not always populated, it could possibly be B2:E2 (one row), I dont know how to copy the exact data so I expanded the range to what I think would capture any eventuality....

Mar 19, 2009I have a list of names in column A, don't know how many different names but for sure some of them repeats in different cells of column A.
A1 = NAME_1
A2 = Alan
A3 = Ben
A4 = John
A5 = Alan
A6 = Kevin
A7 = Mark
A8 = Dominic
A9 = John
A10= Tom
A11=Alan
A12=Frank
How can I make aonther list in column B, which contains a list of name in column A without repeating. So that B1 = NAME_2, B2:B4 is exactly like A2:A4, then B5 = Kevin, B6 = Mark, B7 = Dominic, B8 = Tom, B9 = Frank.... and so on. Another question, which is very similar to the previous one. In the same column A, now I add an AutoFilter (Data > Filter > AutoFilter) in A1. A drop down arrow button will appear at the right side within A1. Click the down arrow and another box shows: Sort Ascending, Sort Descending, All, Top 10, Custom, Alan, Ben.... the rest of the data in Column A but each unique data will only shows once in that list. How can I copy the contents of that box?

Feb 17, 2014I got a macro to copy and paste values onto another tab within my worksheet. I have a lot of data and currently takes about 30 seconds to calculate and paste. Not sure if its an issue with my macro or with my computer (Mac - Excel 2011).
Here is an example of my macro:

Jan 21, 2009I am trying to get the formulas to work on Sheet 3, the rows formated to percentages correctly, but they are not reading the totals in row 2 to make the formula complete. I also want this to run more than one number, I would prefer a range for example value >= 1.29 so that Sheet 3 shows all items less than 1.29.

The cell ranges are going across my spreadsheet in rows and I would like for them to transpose into a columns depending on the data which I have separated by catergory on the summary page. They are all on the same location in each workbook which is separated by country. I have 70+ separate excel files (one for each month) that each have a single sheet I want to copy into the new workbook's corresponding month sheet.
Each file is named different but the name of the sheet in those files that I need will all be the same.
Is there a way I could sit in the sheet I want it pasted to, run a macro that I can point to the correct file/workbook -- preferably without opening -- and then have it copy the contents of the sheet I want (again, will always have the same sheet name).
I want the sheet copied with formatting and all, an exact copy.

I thought I lost that original message so I rewrote everything - differently - then I saw the restore button so I'm leaving both phrasings.
I would like to know if there is a Macro that could ask me which workbook to copy from, select the sheet in that workbook called CAP (sheet will always have the same name but I need to copy the sheet from 70 different files/workbooks) copy the whole sheet with formatting and all, and then paste it in my active sheet on the new workbook I am in.
I want to take data about a particular partner we have (CAP) out of the monthly summaries for the last ~72 months (which each have their own file/workbook) and put them all in one workbook just for this partner, on each sheet by month still.
I am only interested in automating everything I have to do for 1 month, but in a way that would easily let me do it again for the next month, and the next and the next, 70 times.
But a Macro would still be easier than opening each file, going to the sheet I want, copying everything, going back to my new workbook, pasting everything, closing the extra workbook, then doing that ALL again 70 times.
