Count Duplicate Rows Then Delete Duplicates

I have two columns of data, and I need to create a third column to count the number of times that same line appears in the document (and then remove all but the first copy of that line). my data looks as follows (and it is sorted so all duplicate rows appear directly next to each other):

Adam1998 | John
Adam1998 | John
Adam1998 | Paul
Adam1998 | Peter
Adam1998 | Peter

I need this to look as follows:

The below code compares the Data in a Field that must be set and collect the duplicate Values in a second Worksheet.
The thing I want it to copy the rows, when a duplicate is found in Col A. editing the code below:

I have a spreadsheet with 3300 rows. In column A there is a list of company names and in column H there is a corresponding Sales Rep name.Column A has many duplicate company names. I would like to run a macro that will find the a company name and then delete all the rest of the rows that contain that same company name.
Attached is a sample of that spreadsheet.

I feel as though I have spent enough time searching the previous posts to ask this question.
I have a 4 column sheet, column B has many cells with identical data. I want to delete all the rows that that have duplicate data in column B.
COLUMN A= Car Makers
COLUMN B= Models of cars
COLUMN C= color
COLUMN D= owner
I want to end up with rows that each contain unique info in COLUMN B.

I have some code but I still need to do a considerable amount of tweaking to it. Currently my code is only deleting the duplicate values in Col A. I am having difficulty summing the values in Col D as well as deleting the entire row.
Here is my code thus far....

I have a huge document that looks like this
Column A______Column B_____Column C
100/12__________B___________$
100/12______________________@

250/13______________________€
250/13______________________$
I want to keep in ColumnA all three rows of 100/12, because it has a value in Column B in one cell-which is the criteria, and remove the 250/13 because it has no value in cell B.
I was assuming that merging duplicates in column A, and than remove empty from ColumnB.

macro that takes the number data and if it is the same number as in the previous row(s) just delete the extra number(s). It also needs to put in a factor in the next column of how many times the number was the same. For example:
Number Factor
5.67 1
5.70 1
5.77 1
5.77 1
5.77 1
5.77 1
Would become
Number Factor
5.67 1
5.70 1
5.77 4

I have a spreadsheet of over 15,000 lines of student information, sorted by student number. I want to count the number of rows which have a duplicate student number, up to 15 duplicates in a row, and show the total number of duplicates in a Separate Column. I.e.
Column 1 Column 2
Row 1 - 200101 3
Row 2 - 200101
Row 3 - 200101
Row 4 - 200102 2
Row 5 - 200102
Row 6 - 200103 1
I've been trying to use a Countif formula, but I found I had to use so many ANDs and ORs that the formula became too long. I don't know how to use programming code, only formulas in Excel. Is there an easier solution using some type of SUMPRODUCT code?

I have a list of 18k rows, and about 7.5k are known duplicates. The delete duplicates button will not delete the duplicates (except it keeps returning 41 duplicates for an unknown reason, but there definitely thousands more it is missing). I tried the remove duplicates button, advance sort, coloring cells, and some macros. The list is the combination of two lists, one older one just compiled, I was able to seamlessly delete dups in another list.

I am working with timesheet data (name, project code, task code, date, hours etc...) in one spreadsheet and rate card data (name, role, day rate etc...) in another.
My task is to pull together some of the information in each of these two source spreadsheets and compile a report. This I have done no problem. However, where a person works on a particular project and task on the same day and records multiple entries (which could be negative) I need to consolidate the hours in all these matching rows and have just one row reflect the total hours worked and delete the other duplicate rows.
So an example would be:

I have a sheet of Data containing 3705 rows. It has plenty of duplicates. Column A is where is located the identification. I need to delete the rows that are duplicated, in order to have only one row for each identification number. I tried to create my own VBA macro to do so, but it seems it doesn't delete all the duplicated rows and it seems to even delete unique rows.

I am trying to delete duplicate rows and have had some success using a VBA from MR Excel threads. However, i would like to add multiple sheets to be compared. When i change the vba to use array, the next line fails with error 438, not a supported objectproperty method.....
Here is the code:

How would I go about deleting duplicate rows?
I've searched the board already and I couldn't find this.
I have a sheet with different data in each column, song titles, writers, owners and so on.
say this information runs from column A to H down 10,000 rows, occasionally information is duplicated in certain rows, except for column A.
I need to be able to search the sheet and delete any extra rows that are duplicated.
So I'll end up with the exact data in each row only appearing once.

I need excel to delete entire rows if there are duplicates in two columns combined.
So, if I have this sample data (in reality I have a lot more columns)

I want excel to delete only row 9, not 11, 13 or 14.
So far, if I look for duplicates in both columns it marks duplicates in either one. Also if I delete the duplicates, it deletes them only in those two columns, leaving me with distorted data (in this example, row 14 would have no last or first name, but only the values "RBM_C" in column B and "F" in column E.

I've been looking through various forums looking for a macro for a particular task, but I have not found something that works yet. Maybe someone could help me out? It's pretty straightforward situation.
I need a macro that removes an entire row when: information in column B and column C are both found in other rows ( duplicates).
I'm dealing with a worksheet with store record information ... Store Name (column B), Street Name (column C), State/Province, etc. I import new store records all the time and many are invalid because they share the same name and street address and therefore need to be removed. The ones that I’ve played with unfortunately end up deleting the cells only and not the entire row.
It's a tedious process to do manually remove entire rows (for duplicate column B&C) when dealing with thousands of rows and I would very much appreciate any assistance or insight into how simplify the process with a macro. I've attached a sample of what I'm working with.

my aim is to count the maximum occurrences in sequence of False statements before they are interrupted with a True ( in this case 2)
I can figure it out what method to use, Formulas or VBA? More precisely my VBA sucks I am trying to use excel functions by creating a counter with if() and then sum it but obviously it is a dead end.

My worksheet that will have duplicate data inserted into it. Once inserted I need to delete the new duplicate row and the row it duplicated. The attachment is a copy of what the data looks like with the first tab showing what it will look like with inserted data and the second tab is what I want it to look like at the end. I will not need the deleted data again so it does not need to be on a new sheet, that is just for an example. The name of the tabs will also be different so I want to be able to run it on any worksheet. This is the code I am using to find and delete the duplicate but I can't get it to delete the original. I used "First, MI, Last, and DOB" because those are the ones that won't be duplicated where others will. This is a list of about 15,000 entries. There should never be an incident where there is triplicate data but I can't say for sure.

I can delete duplicate rows easily enough, but I can't seem to capture a couple variables where I would not want to delete the selected row. There are no headings, all data starts in Row 1.
I start in Row 1 Columns C and D, compare that to Row 3 Columns C and D (Every other row). If it is a duplicate entry in both columns, delete that row and the row below it. Pick up at next row and continue. See attached Excel file (Excel 2003). The rows with fonts colored RED are the only rows from this data that should get deleted.

Hi i have the below code which runs on deleting duplicate code which i found in an excel manual. I am having some trouble as i want to convert the code so that it will run on all worksheets i have which are numbered such as 1,2,3,4 etc.
This is so it makes the workbook easy maintenance for when deleting or adding worksheets which happens quite regularly.

I have a sheet caled "Data", with thousands of rows.
I want to delte any rows that have duplicate rows only if the following data is in the same row but if in column A, coloumn C and column H have the same data

The last row would need to be deleted as dupilcates are A C and H
The data is not sorted.

I have 6 columns on my data sheet. F column is Amount column.
If there are rows where all the columns A,B,C,D and E duplicate then I need that row to be deleted, BUT before that the value from the column F should be summed to the duplicating row's F column.
