Oct 7, 2002I often find myself moving from one sheet in a workbook to another over and over. I wanted a shortcut that moved between the last two sheets selected.
Similar to how Alt+Tab works with windows.
Does anybody know a keyboard shortcut or if not is there a macro that could be added to perosnal.xls that would mean i would aways b able to switch between two sheets quickly.

Sendkeys Macro Will Not Start With Keyboard Shortcut

Jul 22, 2014I'm looking at [URL] which gives a lot of keyboard shortcuts, but not specifically what I'm looking for.
It's a basic function, I'm surprised it's not listed. I just want to copy the value of a selected cell via keyboard shortcut (for copy and paste purposes). I don't want the formula, just the value. If it were just text I would typically do CTRL-C and CTRL-V to paste like everyone does 1000 times a day, but in this case it's copying between two otherwise totally unrelated spreadsheets, so having the formula is irrelevant and produces undesired results. I just need the value of the formula.

Excel 2010 :: Keyboard Shortcut To Resize Whole Application?
Apr 3, 2014I need to resize Excel pretty frequently - I need to size the whole Excel app tall and all the way to the left, taking up about a third of my screen - then maximize it - then back to tall and left, etc. I can do it by clicking the "Restore Down" icon in the top right corner, but I can't figure out how to do it using the keyboard.
I've tried Ctrl-F8, Ctrl-F9 and Ctrl-F10, but they all act on individual workbooks within the Excel application. I want to resize the whole Excel application. Does it exist?

For example, if I'm in column O, row 138, what keyboard shortcut would I need to select ONLY and ALL cells from the row I'm currently on, (in this example, 138) to row 1 and ONLY in that particular column?
Keep in mind that the next time I may be starting at row 1,200, it could be different everytime.

For example, if you are on the cell A1, and you select Filter under the data menu and you want to filter column A without using your mouse, is there a keyboard shortcut to do this. I know Alt-A-C, clears the filters, but I want to know if there is a shortcut to access the filters in the column. In case my explanation isn't clear, I have included some screenshot pictures of the filter, before and after it is selected, to show what I am talking about, and what I am trying to accomplish without the mouse.

Copy And Paste Macro W/o Switching Worksheets
Jul 13, 2006I'm writing some macros in excel in an effort to transfer over from Lotus 1-2-3 but have hit a major roadbump. The macro is fairly complex and takes a while to run and I'm trying to cut down on the Run Time. As of right now lotus does it about 6x faster. I think a big roadblock here is that in the macro I built in excel when copying and pasting values into another worksheet, the coding has to
1)select the cell to copy
2)switch worksheets
3)select the cell to copy to
4)paste or paste special into that cell
5)switch back to first worksheet
Etc...
for every single value I want to copy over. With lotus it was possible to just copy values to an defined name in another worksheet without leaving the current one. This would greatly decrease runtimes and I was wondering if anyone knew how to code for this.
