Trying to count the number of fields that meet a criteria base in 3 different columns. Worked on this for few hours but still keep hitting the wall of no right answer. I have attached an example sheet.
Trying to find the Number of fields that are not blank in the range of B9:B28 and have no date (are blank) in range(C9:C28) and have a number that is < 7 in range (D9:D28).
I have the following dataset:

I'd like to have the value of <formula> looked up in older records. Currency and category should match and it should pick the exchange rate with the maximum date.
Which formula and what syntax should I use to have this done?
I use Excel 2007.
I setup a Vlookup formula (in sheet 1) to find the figure in column C (in sheet 2) based on the company name and branch name but the result is incorrect.

Below, starting from b4 to l4 I have years from 2005 to 2015, row 5 for the same range contains data, row 6 (c to l) contains a growth rate.
I need to come up with a formula that can multiply (x * y * z *... [product-like formula]) the growth rates for all the years where the current year (row 4) is bigger than reference the reference year in a1 or smaller than reference year in a2. A3 is then used to multiply that total.
I have attached a sample of my data. What I am looking for is the best (most elegant solution) to my problem.

I have previously been performing a multi level SUMIF of named ranges with a large data range.
This works but its inefficient as it would be better to preselect a subset range before the SUMIF begins matching criteria.
Basically, i'd like to select a range of rows which will parse into the SUMIF formula.
I have solved this by referencing an external cell to create the range.
I am using the following piece of code to 'link' a value from a cell in one workbook into another.
ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 ="='[filepath]Front Sheet FIT'!r7c4"
However, i have come across a cell which displays the result of a reference to another cell (something simple like =b32). Normally I would just link to b32, however, the macro has to be applied to a large number of documents and in some cases text has been specifically entered, while in others the reference has been used. Is there any way of using VBA to display either the result of a formula (if there is one) or text if this is the case?
What formula should I put in NUTRISTATUS column. That will search value in the table of MALE BMI and FEMALE BMI. for example when I input data M(male) in ***(gender), age in M(m0nth) and BMI it will search in MALE BMI table..

Two sticking points, BOLD - be listed twice with the same teacher. I don't want them counted twice in the "Size 3" column. BOLD & italicized- same student could be in two different teachers' classes. They need to be counted under both.

I have a large worksheet that lists employees and the hours they work each day in a pay period.
For Example:
Column A holds a date and Column E holds the number of hours worked for a paytype. So i want to create some function that sums the numbers in column E, but only those where column A holds a date.
Then i want to return that number to a cell, say C20. I think I've managed to tell the macro which rows i want to return values from, but I can't figure out how to say "add these numbers together and put the total in C20."
I'll check this frequently if clarification is needed.
I have a workbook which scores tender's, the calculations behind the front sheet work fine, I would now like to show where the tender ranks against a set of criteria. I have attached a sample and typed into the cell D12 what I am trying to with this list of criteria below starting in cell C15.

If you reference the attached spreadsheet I am trying to calculate cost based on weight and zone. For the data entered in cells B1 and B2 944.01 would be the cost. If you look at the table in G2:N3 you'll notice that the values in G2 and G3 are the weight limits G2 is from 0-4999 and G3 is 5000+, this should impact where the value in B1 falls. B2 should select from H1 to N1.

As part of my program, after the user presses a command button, I need to use the row indexes of the selected rows in order to copy the selected information into an array which is then placed in a different listbox, and then delete the items from the original list. Pseudocode of what I want to do:

But my understanding is that .ListIndex does not work this way with multiselect listboxes. I've tried searching for a solution for a while, but I cannot find one.

There is 1 input for the spreadsheet: What month? Enter 9, 10, 11 etc. I need it to pull from a data sheet that is set up as such:......
So effectively it needs to vlookup the name in column A, (A, B, or C), and then it needs to match that to the column that has the same name as the output table (Crit.1 or Crit.2 and the number of the month above it (10,11,etc). I attached an excel sheet to better demonstrate

I need to match data with specific criteria. Details of the problem are as follows:
I have 2 sheets: "Main" and "Sub"
In "Main" there are 3 Important Columns: Col "C", "I" and "AF"
In "Sub" there are 2 Important Columns: Col "I' and "N".
Value in column "C" of "Main" is same as value in column "I" of "Sub", but not in same order.
Now the specific criteria:
If value in Column "I" of "Main" is not equal to "Zero", then the macro should pick up the value from the corresponding column "C" of "Main" and search for the same in column "I" of "Sub". After matching the same, it should find corresponding value in column "N" of "Sub". Then the macro should pick up the value from column "N" of "Sub" and put the value in the column "AF" of "Main".
This is basic requirement.
I am unable to retrieve the right value for the same.
Fine tuining will be:
If the value in column "N" of "Sub" is "Fully Automated" then it should only write "Automated" in column "AF" of "Main". And If the value is "Manual + ...." then it should write "Manual" in column "AF" of "Main".

How do I return an offset value within a named range using a formula? For example, my range "RngTest" is from C3:J43. If a value of "Product123" is found within the range, (lets say its found in cells C3; E5 and E7), I need the accumulative values in the cells 'below' (in cells D3; F5 and F7) added ( SUM) and returned to cell L3.
Therefore if Cells D3; F5; and F7 have the respective values of 3; 4 and 5,
the value of cell L3 should be 12. Also, do I need to express "RngTest" or "C3:J43" or does it matter?

I have a multi-line text box in a user form. This information is loaded onto an excel spreadsheet. Where I have pressed the return button to go to the next line in the text box it loads in a square (actually I think it's probably more of a rectangle) character onto the excel spreadsheet. It there a way to get rid of this character?

So there would be a cell at the top of the page with a line around it and the word type your search criteria here. The used types in a word and excel then looks into 3 columns below that have various data. If there is match then a filter action would kick in and only show the rows where there was a match regardless of the column.

I need to get a formula to work in the grey area which sums the total minutes (column C) based on matching two criteras of task (column A) and day (column b).
I have two sheets where I dump data into. Widget sales and Widget Accessory sales. I'm trying to display for the widget salesmen the amount of dollars they sell in widget accessories ONLY for the transactions in which they also sell a widget at the same time.
So I need a formula or process (taking and comparing the data from both sheets) to do the following
IF
1. The dates of a widget sale and the accessory sale match (in both sheets)
2. The salesman ID in both sheets match
3. The names of the customer in both sheets match
THEN
1. Add up the total dollars by salesman for sales that match the above criteria
I've tried using sumproduct... I've tried using countif and concatenating pieces of data to make unique sales codes... I've exhausted my meager excel skills .
I have a sheet containing a list of client name,the date they've been assigned, the type of account they have, the status of the account, and the last update date.
What I'm trying to accomplish is to extract the client name and the type of account on that table that shows as "complete" in status. However, it gets complicated since I need to separate the data that had been 'completed' under the same month, with those completed the other month.
For example, I have been assigned 2 clients this January. I closed one in the same month, and the other closed at February. The first client would be listed under the first table (Completed within the month) and the other would be on the second (Completed on previous months)
Since this would be monthly, I am thinking if it would be more efficient to include the table per sheet (as one sheet corresponds to a month), or consolidate everything to a single sheet... I'm not sure which one would be best.
I need to compile a 'sumifs' formula to add sales for the salesmen.
Below is an example table. My dilemma is determining that in addition to the sales I only want to 'sum' the 'CANCEL' sale of a customer that initially purchased a 'GOOD' Status and not a 'PENDING' status.
How can i write a formula to determine that (for example) Customer3 'cancelled' the 'pending' sale, therefore I do not want the 'cancel' to sum in my calculations.

The formula I used in the test column
=SUMPRODUCT(--($B$2:$B$13&$C$2:$C$13&$D$2:$D$13&$E$2:$E$13=B2&C2&D2&E2),$F$2:$F$13)
As you can see in that the formula is showing the first 4 rows with a difference even though that the difference is in the first two. How can i fix this?
My second question, on the lines with the 989.04 difference, how can I make the same formula to say "Fix the account" or to fix the column with discrepancy
