I need to get the Most Recently paid EMI in the List it should be in tune with the TODAY() as well as the PAID one indicated by "X" in Column F..
Next EMI DATE:
This would be the NEXT EMI date as the name suggests after the Most recent paid EMI…In this case 14-Feb-09
Date to Replenish:
This date would be when the Amount in the Account has got reduced indicated by "X" in column E...In this case 10-May-09.

I am trying to sum rows based on unusual criteria: i.e. A table of date c2:t9 contains details of expenditure for 16 periods for insurance and motor expenses. i want to convert this to a cashflow format and reflect when the item is actually paid, so if it is paid in february, march, etc (given in the original table) I want to add the totals in the months preceding the set date. also, if the criteria is a number <12 then i want to add up the preceding amounts if the period number is a factor of that number e.g - criteria is 3, then i want to add rows 1-3 and put in period 3, 4-6 and put in period 6.

I would like a lookup that takes multiple criteria and that is not an array formula! Unfortunately I decided to use array formulae and my spreadsheet went to over 45mb!! Not good. I've searched the forum for an answer to my questions but couldn't find any! I've attached a spreadsheet as an example. The examples I am using have {Sum(IF)} formulae in it (array) and I would like to change those to others that will not increase the file size so much and will not take too long to calculate.
Basically, I would like a lookup that will return me the Amount Paid and Full Cost based on the person's name and the date. the data and the results table are both on separate sheets. It would be nice to bring that file's size back down to less than 4mb!!

I'm trying to workout how to take a known initial date a repeating frequency and work out the next due date from today.
Example
Initial Date :- 1st of January 2014
Frequency :- every 5 weeks
Current Date :- 9th of March 2014
Next Due date should be :-12th of March 2014 (if I worked it out correctly from my paper calendar)
I want to use a cell formula to do this for different initial dates and varying frequency periods (the frequency will always be whole weeks i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,8,10)

I have a table of data that will grow rapidly each day (data will be entered by other users) at the top of the sheet I want to link to the row of data that is at the bottom of the table or in other words the most recently added row. For example in cell A1 I want to link to the cell that is at the bottom of the data in Column C.

I have a folder called 'Refresh'. Every week a new file is dropped into that folder. Instead of me placing that new file into my workbook, i would like my macro to just grab it. Is there a way for VB to grab the most recently created file that comes into my 'Refresh' Folder.

I am running the below code to basically apply a defined list to a cell containing the string "WORKDAMNIT". This list is used as validation. I am running into a HUGE problem where once I apply the validation on about 17,000 cells and try to save the spreadsheet I get an error saying that "Excel could not save all the data and formatting you recently added to...". Thus, the IF loop basically does a save of records everytime I hit about 1000 records. I can even see the file being saved. However, whenever I close the spreadsheet it asks me to SAVE!! If I try to save it I get the same error and if I dont NOTHING gets saved.

I have userform with date pickers and have text boxes overlaid on these, when I select todays date from the date picker it does not display the current date in the text box (I have 8 date pickers on the userform). If I select another date then reselect the current date it works. It has occasionally worked but why.
Below is the code for populating the text box from the Date Picker.

I have two columns of dates, leave start and end dates (when people start leave i.e. annual leave). Would need to introduce column(s) to calculate how many days fell within the month including the end date and excludes weekends.
For example, if the staff on leave from 31st March to 6 April, i need to show that the number of leave taken as 1 day in March and 4 days in April.

Trying to automate the period part of the impt function
To calculate current value of loan i have the below formula below with the 3 being the current period
=IPMT(4.3%/12,3,5*12,-7000)/(4.3%/12)
What i would like to do is for the period to be self calcuating from current date and the loan start date. I can return a value in days using start date - today() and aware month function returns the month number but stuggling to find a way to work out cumulative month from the start date.

I have an excel sheet wherin there is a column that has the data where in the dates are displayed and many other columns.
I get this excel every Thursday so i want to filter this date column in such a way that it give me the data related to the date of the previous week only yet there is a catch here. When i say previous week i mean.
Suppose today is 03/14/14 then i want the data from 03/07/14 till today ie Last week friday to this week full( so cant use Current week option) and then paste it in a new sheet.
I tried the Record part but in that it is taking a hard coded value as i am selecting the date myself. I dont want to change the date manually every time.

I created a basic excel weekly budget and would like to know how much money I have as of todays date. on the top row I have a date range from Sunday to Saturday, so it looks like this:
09-15 16-22 23-29
with the month manually put in above it.
then below I have income and expenses with a Overall below that, so basically what I want to is see the Overall value based on todays date, not sure how to do this with the weekly range and automatic current date(which is =TODAY() as far as I know) I have attached a photo as a reference.

i am trying to create a forumla in a column (D in my expamle below) to count the number of days between two dates. Knowing that col D will change everytime the @now date changes - but thats ok..
COL A COL B COL D
ROW 1 Open Date Closed Date Count of days open
ROW 2 4/1/07 BLANK CELL Formula result here
ROW 3 4/1/07 9/5/07 Formula result here
if col b has a date then subrtract col a from b and display the # result, if col b is blank then subtract col a from location I store the @ now date - say Col ZZ Row 99? so no matter there is a count of number of days in every row in column D

I have a user form that when a command button is clicked it enters the data from the from into coloums a,b,c,etc. I have code to do this but I want to add code to add a static date in coloum B based on if coloum A had data entered from the form. Basically, I'm doing a recorded macro for work where I take an export and manipulate the data to show differences between sales from last year and this year. Also comparing this months projected sales to avg of last 6 months and also against last years this month.
The problem I'm running into is in automating the this month sales for mid-month exports. I can do it individually but I can't find a formula that will do it. Data is in one cell per month, so ex. 130 sales this month so far. I need to have it convert that to projected sales for total month based on what day it currently is.

I'm working on a spreadsheet which needs to refer to the current date. My PC checks the system date/time daily. Can I assume that if an end-user regularly connects to the internet, their PC will have a correct system date? Does anyone know if Win2000 or Win98 automatically update the system date/time when connected to the internet?

I have a report that in column A shows a ship date. These ship dates may be "Previous","Same Day", "Next Day", or "Future".
I need VBA code that will look at the day in column A and determine if it matches the current date on the computer if it does then in column W in the same row I need the string "Same Day".
If its the systems date plus 1 day column W in the same row would state "Next day".
If its the systems date plus 2 or more column W in the same row would state "Future".
If its any date prior than than the current system date then column W in the same row would state "Previous".

If I enter 12/2, in one of the rows in column A it will display today dates in cell B1 since today is 12/2, but when tomorrows comes, since there is not a 12/3 date in column A, B1 cell will be empty, but when 12/4 comes, cell B1 will show 12/4 since that is a 12/4 date

I'm trying to create a formula that takes a date in a cell (A1) and compares it with the now() function. If the date in A1 matches the now function then i want to return a 5 and set the colour to light blue (for instance), then if the date entered is a day before now the return a 4 and set the colour to green.
=IF(A1 = NOW(), 5)...... but this just returns 'FALSE' even though the date entered and the NOW() function are the same.

I want to have a column that will show the length of employment for a list of employees. I have a column for each employee already listed as their hire date. What I want to do is have the next column indicate how many days that employee has been on board.
I know about the =Today() and =NOW() and would assume I need to use this somewhere this way every time the spreadsheet is opened it would update the length of employment.
