The code in the file works but, I wonder if you could comment and suggest an improvement to the code in the attached file. With the generous help of good folks on this site, I have developed a code to use in my workbook (a sample is attached). Before I use it I would like to be sure that it will not generate any errors.

I have a problem with a Multiple Criteria Sum. I need to SUM several hundred rows, which meet differing criteria. 1st Criteria is Column1, could be up to 15 different numbers for the same Sum, like "A01, A02, B01, B02"...etc
2nd Criteria is Column6, which is only 1 Criteria "INSTALLED"
Possible Scenario:
If Column1 = A01, A02, A03, A04, A05, B01, B02, B03, B04, B05, C01, C02, C03, C04, C05
If Column6 = INSTALLED
Column7 What is the Total POWER
I have set up Pivot Tables, which give me the answers in a Graphical format. I'm looking for a single cell answer if possible, using a Function, as I have 3 different Criteria sets for each sheet. I have removed formatting, validation, etc from attached sheet. I have 25 sheets to look at, so I am looking for alternatives, like Formula or a VBA Function. I have looked into Defining names, nesting IF's, etc. but can't get the formula working. 1 thing in my favour, the Cab references will stay static once I work out the next move..

I have built up quite a few macros for automating functions in some spreadsheets, and I want to start being able to detect when errors occur. Right now I just have the function or sub terminate itself if an error occurs, but that just returns control to the calling sub/function.
I need a way to detect if an error occurs, and immedatly terminate the whole process so that it does not continue and make eronious changes further down the line.
I had thought of declaring a pubic boolean variable that i could flip if an error occurs, but I am not sure how to detect this flip without programing in an if statement every time i call a function.
Question1: Is there a way to write a function/sub that will automaticly triger if a public variable becomes a certain value?
Question2: How do I unload a macro (terminate it) from a public function? I have found that for user forms, the Unload Me command does not work in a public function. I suspect this is becasue the function is not directly attached to a form.

i have a workbook system that is used on 25 standalone machines that all have different printers everytime i install on a new system i have to reconfigure all of the printers that i have set up in VBA i am curious to find out as to whether or not there is a macro i can use that will generate a list of all printers on a machine that i can then use to refrence a printer name in my VBA

I have a spreadsheet that grows rapidly each day of addresses I service. Duplicates are not welcome. When the spreadsheet was smaller, I would type in an address and if it was a duplicate, Excel would auto fill the cell with the duplicate data. Now that the rows are over 2000, I wanted to see if this primitive method for weeding out duplicates was still working, however when I type the first address I have in cell A1, it does not auto fill in A2001, even though it is a duplicate.
Is there any way to have on-the-spot detection of duplicates sans macro?

I want to make a spreadsheet that has codes that make items show up on another sheet but how to do this.
For example I would start on sheet 1 and on cell A2 I would type the amount $100. Then in cell B2 I would type in F (I will call this a code).
Now on sheet two I want the amount on cell A2 to show up in a column of items designated for F items. If I had typed in G instead I would have wanted it to go to a column for G items. All the values under the given code will show up in the column that is represented by them.

I have an array and I need to be able to detect when a varying number of consecutive array elements are equal. I want to be able to call the code and give the number of elements I need to find.

I have created a individual tracker spread sheet in each user system and on the spread sheet I have inserted 2 buttons in 1st sheet. when employee wants to take a break he has to click on the log out button and when he came back he needs to click on login button. I have another sheet named "timings" and I have created 2 columns, one is login and another is logout. What I need is when user click on the login button, the system time and date to be auto update under login column and when he clicks on logout button the system time and date to be auto update under logout column.

Background: I have 3 lists. List 1 is a column of unique identifiers. List 2 is a column of unique identifiers. List three is supposed to contain as many rows as the number of rows in List 1 * the number of rows in List 2. Each row in List three has as its unique identifier a value from List 1 concatenated with a value from List 2.
What my problem is: I want to determine, when looking at each row in list 1, if there is an corresponding entry in list 3 for every row in list 2.

i have some existing code which is trigerred when anything is input into column c. The code then adds various information in another three columns. One of which pastes a vlookup formulae, and i would like this forumlae pasted into the column c cell which i initialy edited, in order to remove the requirement for one additional column.

I want to drag a formula however i want one of the values of the formula to change and the other not to change. for example:

Attached is book in which, when a choice is selected from Drop Down list in ColumnF the macro has to do the need.
When the macro was written it was working well. But when I tried to change it as a Worksheet_SelectionChange event nothing is happenning even though a choice is selected from drop down list.

Basically the situation I have is Sheet2 has many references to cells in Sheet1. Sheet2 is for all intents and purposes a kind of nicely formatted report form, and Sheet1 is the input form.
My ultimate goal is to automatically resize row heights on Sheet2 when cell contents change on Sheet2.
Using a worksheet_change event isn't working I presume because it doesn't see the formula output change as a worksheet change, the worksheet_change is firing only when the input is changed in Sheet1.
how can I capture these formula output changes on Sheet2 (triggered from input on Sheet1) OR is there a way of making a particular sheets rows always adjust in height to best fit?

I'm coding a userform where there are some comboxes which are popolated by values coming from Sheet2. Up to now I work it out (maybe its not elegant but it works).
Now I would like that when the user selects one combobox the values of the other comboboxes are set accordingly to the grid in Sheet2.

Im trying to use an event change to change the sheet name based on a cell value, but my issue is how can I error trap if the sheet name is a duplicate? Here is what I have so far

I am aware that I can use single changing events in worksheet change events. For instance, if column 1, or A is changed, do something. This is only a single If statement, i.e. either the condition is true, or not. What I am not sure is if I can use two changing events, i.e. two conditions. For e.g. I would like if Column A value is X and Column B is "Active", action it, but only if two conditions are true.
For.e,g. The below syntax does not work. If it is only column A, it does work, but I want both A and B to be true, then copy and paste the target does not anything.

How can I get a cell to show one value when it is selected and return to it's original value when it's no longer the active cell. The cell has a number in it, when it's selected, I use the "selectionChange" event to replace the active cell's value with a number on sheet 2. (The original value is copied to a new location before it is replaced). When the cell is no longer the active cell, I want the original value to be pasted back into the cell. How can I do that? This is what I have so far:
