I have created a combo box in a userform called combobox1 and userform1
I have also created 2 command buttons called Go and cancel

I have created a userform and a command button to bring up the user form but when I click on the command button and the user form pops up I am not able to enter any data, the entire page freezes

Userform Called In Other Workbook Interrupts Procedure

I have a procedure that opens workbooks from a list and then searchs for a phrase given by user. If nothing is found it closes workbook and opens next one. If phrase is found it highlights it on workbook. I wanted to give user some options when phrase is found: to search further in next workbook and to search further, but leaving current workbook open. Here my misery starts.

The only way i made up to perform it was to use Userform and code: userform.ActiveControl.Name. But it seems that Userform called in other workbook than one where the module is, interrupts somehow the procedure. When workbook, where the userform was used, closes the procedure doesn't go on. Evidently Userform is the issue here as without it, macro works.

Put Formula In Userform Created In Excel

How to put a formula into my userform created in Excel.

What I have is 4 Combobox's which can select either 0,1,3 or 9 then each box has a weight which that number must be timed by this is the excel formula:

=SUM(L48*10,M48*10,N48*8,O48*6) so that was 9x10,3x10,9x8,3x6 Which gives me a sum of 210.

Can this be added to the userform so when the user selects the number from the dropdownbox it will calculate it into the total score?

I'm a rookie with combo boxes. This is my first one.

I need a pull-down list on a form that has the integers 1 to 40. Seems simple enough, but how do I add the integers to the combo box? I don't see a property to define the list.

I have the integers on a sheet called locked and the range is Y3:Y42 if that is required.

Also, I want the default value for the combo box to be 12 if that is possible.

The form is called frmNewData and the combo box is called cboAWG

Im creating a userform, i have two choices, when a combobox event changes, a second form loads, thats fine, but would it not be more efficient if i were to have hidden tabs on the main form? if so - can anyone advise how i can hide the tab/tabs until the combobox event is triggered.

My "main" aim is to have a VERY quick and slick user interface.

If required i can upload the code - just shout.

Userform2 Removes Data From Userform1 When Hidden/unloaded?

I have a small userform (FormA) with two text boxes, a combobox, a help button, and an "OK" button. When clicked, the help button launches another userform (Form B), containing a text message and a "Close" button.

When I enter data into Form A, then click the Help Button to read what's on Form B, then close Form B, the data I had entered into the text boxes and combo box on Form A are deleted.

I've tried fussing with the modality, but that's not changing anything. I know I could write the text into a variable, then re-display it when Form B is closed, but that seems like a little (very little) extraneous stuff in an already bloated program.

I have it working as I need it to with Active-x combobox but I need to move to a form method because the Active-x combobox is buggy in the worksheet and has these strange font and box resizing issues which there is no solution to out there.. Something about if you have external monitor or projector plugged in and it using a different resolution to what your native laptop or pc is using.. doesn't make any sense to me and unfortunately I have given up on it.

Problem is what I want doesn't seem like it can be done with form combobox but I will seek your support first before I come to that conclusion.

So using form Combobox, this is my setup:

Combobox1 contains a short list of Teams i.e. ENT,MEL,EMEA,MTVSSL,TSJ -- I am referencing this from the FORMAT CONTROL property Input Range: TEAMS!A2:A6
Combobox2 I need to list the names of the people in those teams i.e. John Doe etc.. I have column with teams as headers and the people in each column in the respective teams. i.e. B1:B16 has the list of people for the team called ENT (B1 is the header "ENT") and B2:B16 is the names of the people.

Problem is I don't know how I can link the two based on selection in Combobox1?

One catch, I prefer not to hard code the names of people in any code, if I can reference from a table or cell that would be better as the list of people within a team will increase over time.

I have a problem in populating 2 combo boxes in my excel sheet, where in the later one is dependent on the first combo box.

The source for these 2 combo boxes exists in another workbook in the same sheet.
The sample data is as below

I have created two dynamic named ranges namely FolderName (refers to B column which has lot of duplicates) and WorkflowName(refers to C column).

For the first combobox, the dynamic named range FolderName is the source. So combobox 1 is populated with 2 values AUDIT, EPG. Here, my intention is "when i select AUDIT from combobox 1, then combobox 2 should be populated with the 3 values which corresponds AUDIT in the source worksheet.

Excel Macro Cannot Run The Macro Combobox1?

I have an excel sheet and I have 2 module in it. First modul (Module 1)controls the second sheet scroll-bar and its working.

Bu my second module (Module 2)controls first sheet. When I run the excel it works and when I try to select dboHasarMiktar_Change combo box I get

error as; "Cannot run the macro dboHasarMiktar_Change." the error info dialog boz has okay button. When I click okay excel works but I am keep getting this error. I also save my excel as *.xlsm format.

First I try to create dboHasarMiktar_change and I left alone than I goto and create dboBirYil_Change. I run it it works without error while VBA editor is open.

Then I delete dboHasarMiktar_change function and save it. When I run vba editor open or close I get above error. I set all macros to be fully trusted, and I still can get the error. The 2 sheet all the cell not locked, but I protected 2 sheet.

I have now created the following peice of
