May 28, 2009I have a spreadsheet with about 300 rows and columns up to AB. Is it possible to stop the page to scroll beyond the 300 rows and AB columns.

Scroll Window Viewing Another Page Or List
Mar 3, 2009I'm trying to display in a condensed fashion (in a list box, that way users can just scroll that box instead of the entire sheet), but it keeps giving me error messages saying it doesn't have enough memory to open. Granted, it is a lot of information (a full page's worth at least), but I moved some values around and had it load a different list of only 4 values and it still gave that message- so I can only assume I'm only using it wrong.

Oct 15, 2013I have a Master sheet with data on it that corresponds with multiple sheets in the same workbook that I have links to in the Master sheet. It all works fine until I sort the Master and then my links start sending me to the wrong worksheet.
Is it just the nature of hyperlinks that you can't sort, or is something else going on here?

Restricted Scroll Areas Won't Scroll
Nov 26, 2007I am using the toolbox/ properties method to restrict the scroll area in the sheets of my workbook. However, for some sheets when i keep the right hand arrow pressed, the screen will not scroll to the last column. (i.e. the screen display will not move with the selected cell box)

Is there any way to have a user input to stop the whole simulation. During the first tries I had a lot of break point in my debugger. Oct 16, 2013I have a sheet that changes the number of columns based on data from other sheets. This is the only sheet in the workbook that I will print out every day. I have it set right now to fit all columns on one page, however sometimes this will result in the bottom 1/3rd of the sheet not being used. If I use fit all rows on one page, then some of the columns will get cut off. Is there a way to scale in both directions? My guess is there is not, but I thought I would ask because it would work great for me if I could.

Mar 27, 2009Assume that calculation is set to automatic and not manual, then is every formula on a page updated when any value on the page is changed, or only when the values in the cells pertaining to a particular formula change?
For instance, if cells a1-a10 have values and in a11 is a sum a1-a10 formula, and in b1-b10 are values and a sum b1-b10 formula in b11, if I change a value in range b1-b10 but do not change any values in a1-a10,then as well as the formula in b11 updating will the formula in a11 recalculate or does excel keep track of which cells have changed and thus is aware that the formula in a11 does not need to be recalculated?

I need to copy each set i.e set 1 is 123 down to 122 to say cell a25 and then copy the next set i.e. 456 to 234 below the first set.
I need to somehow write a loop code that knows where to get the 2nd, then 3rd set, etc and copy it to the bottom of the preceeding set

Nov 14, 2013In my header I am trying to show the current page number and the total number of pages in the workbook. So if I have 10 pages in my workbook, page 5 would read "5 of 10".
I have this in my header "&[Page] of &[Pages]". All worksheets with 1 page read "1 of 1" and worksheets with 2 pages read "1 of 2" on the first page and "2 of 2" on the second page.

Every time I move the scroll bar down the page it just keeps showing me the same part of the sheet eg cells 1-30 when I want to see all the way down to the bottom. I have some 20,000 lines I need to scroll through but I can't see all of them. To add to this, I keep having lines hide between other lines so theres a big gap like going from line 120 to line 4000 and I have to manually unhide them every time to see them.

Dec 26, 2008I have a spreadsheet with some scripting that automatically emails the report to whoever is on the sheet. I'm not sure what kind of scripting it is. I think my boss found it somewhere.
Whenever I scroll either down or up, the first 3 rows disappear and I'm not able to scroll back up. The scrollbar shows that I'm not at the top, but it won't let me go back up. The first 3 rows contain the button to send the email. If I close out without saving and open it again, its fine, until I scroll up or down.

Since users can enter a value in the link cell for the scroll bar, how can I modify the current min/max/small change via macros so the scroll bar will show a min on 1%, small change of 0.25% and max of 25%?

Scroll In Textbox
May 2, 2007I use a very simple textbox in a userform for sequential output only (it displays status messages of a long program run). The box nicely scrolls vertically up the lines but only till the userform has the focus (i.e. it is the actual selected window). But when I change the focus to othe window - scrolling immediatelly stops. Unfortunatly when I activate a new Excel sheet in the background program, the userform lost the focus and scroll is stopping.
Has anybody a solution for it? I have already tried positioning the textbox with sellength/selstart but I was unable to start the scrolling again from the proper position. I know that VB has the scrolltocaret() funcion but it is missing in VBA.
