Command Button To Clear Check Boxes

I am trying to create a command button in Microsoft Excel (Office 2000) that enables me to reset the check box status for a worksheet from checked to unchecked. The worksheet contains approximately 50 check boxes and is meant to be reused. Is this possible? If so, how can I program it to do so?

I am trying to create a code to clear check boxes from an excel sheet.
I'm trying to use the same type of macro for clearing normal text, but it does not work on the check boxes.

When I press a command button I want to:
Uncheck a checkbox made with Control Toolbox
Check a particular Option Button within a group box made with the Forms Toolbar.
EDIT: Clarification, I want both things to happen when I click one button.

I want to create a command button that will clear whatever is written in a text box. I guess for this to work it needs to select all, then clear. The command button and the text box have been created using the control toolbox.

I have created a command button, right clicked the button and selected 'View Code'. In the code window I've entered the following code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
IB_FB_Hedge_3 Outcome.range(W10:X11).ClearContents
End Sub
As soon as I enter the code a message pops up:
"Compile error:
Expected: list separator or )"
Is my syntax wrong? Is the sheet name, 'IB_FB_Hedge_3 Outcome' not allowed?
When I created this code a few minutes before I was not having the 'Compile error' problem, but the Command Button was not working either. When I clicked the command button it would just show the circles at the corners, suggesting that it is still in editing mode and not properly activated as a command button.

I have two combo boxes that both contain 7-12 separate search criteria for the user to choose from. The other includes months and the other value ranges in text form. Based on the selections, e.g. "August" from other and "increased by more than 5 %" from other, I'd like to have a command button to execute the appropriate macro. I've already compiled the macros for each occasion but I just can't figure out how to get the button to execute them. Can I use the Select Case statements? If so, how?
Oh, and whether it's relevant or not, the boxes and the button are from the control toolbar.

I'm working with 2 different sheets, sheet1 and sheet2.
I'll type in entry 1 to 4. 2 comboboxes, 2 cell values. then click on the command button1.
i'll pass over the values to sheet2 like this:
array(comboBox1.value, range("a2").value, comboBox2.value, range("a4").value
I was asked to check against the last time the user click on the command button.
if combobox1.value, range("a2").value, comBoBox2.value, range("a4").value MATCHES exactly the last entry in sheet2, it'll give a popup Box before it continues.

I want to have 1 check box affect 3 others in the following way: check box 1 if checked, allow check/uncheck of check boxes 2, 3, 4 if unchecked, uncheck boxes 2, 3, 4 and do not allow checking check box 1 is linked to D1 which starts with a value of false. cell E1 is if condition to have value 1 when D1 has value of true.

I am creating a userform with 10 checkboxes. The first 9 checkboxes are user options. I want the 10th check box to be a "Select All" option i.e. if the 10th checkbox is checked all the other 9 options are deemed to have been selected.
The way I want the display to work is that if the 10th checkbox is ticked all other checkboxes are cleared. Also if the 10th checkbox is ticked and any of the other check boxes is selected then the 10th checkbox should be selected.
I have tried coding this up but the checkboxes don't seem to operate as desired. I placed some code on the click event for the last option button to set the vlaue for all other buttons to false. This works but the 10th check box doesn't get ticked itself. When I try to code up the other bit I get similar issues.

How can I return name of a command button on click? I want to create some sort buttons on a sheet I will use regularly to speed things up. I thought if I could call each sort button by the column letter the button sits in I can use this in a single sub for all buttons
e.g the button sitting in column A is called "A". when i click the button, it returns it's name to a variable which I can then use to sort column A. I know I could create a seperate routine for each button but I was just trying to think of something neater.

I have a userform with a button on it named But1. Is it possible to store But1 into a variable then activate the But1_Click action using a variable?

Now, how would you activate the But1_Click method using strButname variable. With listboxes you can use the Control(strListboxName) methodology?
This doesn't work, but gives you an idea of what I am trying to do.

I currently am using a form button to create new rows.
I need two different kind of buttons. I have a button that does this-
VB:
Sub InsertRow()
'this inserts a row where the button is clicked.

However, when I try and create these codes using a Command button (I need it for the color), I get the error
"unable to get the buttons property of the Worksheet class"
P.S one other thing, say the button is in row 3, and Cells A1 and A2 are merged, when you click the button in row 3, it should extend the merge to A3.

This is probably really straight forward but cant see why it happens, the following macro works fine when called by a button created by the form toolbar but doesnt when called by a command button, get the runtime error 1004, "select method of range class failed"

I have read several articles saying using a command button as a toggle button can't be done but some articles have said it is possible using the state properties.
.State = msobuttondown
.State = msobuttonup
Is there any way to combine this with the onaction property so that when you press the button, it stays down and activates a macro then when you press it again it pops back up and activates another macro.

I want to put (control toolbox) check boxes in each cell in a long col.
Each check box is to be linked to the cell next to it.
What is the easiest way to do this ( i dont want to have to manually change the cell each check box is linked to)

I have 50 check boxes not on a user form, but on spreadsheet. I attached a button that says "Clear All" (meaning 'clear all checkboxes'). I can write a sub smth like

CheckBox1.Value = False
CheckBox2.Value = False
End Sub
... and so on for all 50 check boxes. Any simpler way to do this in a loop? Smth like

I copied a list of data from Vendio Counters for pages in my website, which includes a check Box in their 1st column.
When copying the list, you automatically get the check box plus the data.
When I paste it into my counter tracking spreadsheet, the Check Box is also pasted into one of my columns.
The problem is that I only want 1 column which is the actual count.
I have tried everything to delete the Check boxes to no avail. I've even tried to delete the column and it won't delete.
All the other extra columns can be cleared or columns deleted

I am working on a check box based list for work. The requirement is for the check box to be linked to the cell that it is in and then for conditional formatting to be done so that if the box is checked it goes green and if it is blank it goes red. This is fine for individual cells, but when i try and copy the formatting and cells throughout the worksheet it links all the cells back to the original cell.

Is there a way to a mass insert of Check Boxes without the cell link all being the same cell? I have a huge list of items that I want to put a check box next to each one. This way when my warehouse people check it off in the sheet one of the columns will read "Available".
Problem is when I put the first box in and cell link it to E4, and then copy and paste it, all the boxes toggle based on one another. Otherwise I have to put in 584 check boxes. Solutions or other recommendations are gladly welcome.
Also, is "True/False" the only available "response" when using Check boxes? (I Know I can write an equation based on the true false, but I am just curious)

I have a worksheet with a command button, this button opens a userform with check boxes. the user has 4 options and can select them all if they choose, they click the command button on the userform and then the original sheet gets populated with only specific data based on the variablesbut nothing happens.

I am using Excel 2007 on Windows XP. I have written up a questionnaire that allows the user to simply check boxes in the cells. My problem is coming up with a formula to count the number of boxes have been checked. I tried several count formulas without any luck. I think one of the problems is that when I highlight the cells with these check boxes it doesn't actually show in data in the fx line.

I have two CHECK BOXES, one says YES and the other says NO
directly after the user opens the worksheet and enables the macros
I want a pop up message box to appear directing them to check YES or NO and not allow them to do anything else until one of the two is checked
once either box is checked, they can continue on to filling in the rest of the worksheet

What Im trying to do add some addition data to a spreadsheet, I think a userform is the best way to do this. Worksheet = sheet 1 (Current Data)
I have an Item number in column C of sheet 1 (currently 570 items)
I have a spot for the values of my checkboxes on sheet1
What I would like is to be able to select the item number from a combo box (cmbITEM) And check off all or some of the checkboxes (I have 12 checkboxes = chk01 through chk12) then have that update the data on sheet1
