Jun 22, 2014I have a UserForm in which i have inserted a CommandButton. I also have a Table on a Sheet in Excel that i would like to save as PDF.
When i click the CommandButton on the UserForm i would like the SaveAs screen to come up and have the Table (or Used Range in the Excel Sheet) as the selection to be Saved as .PDF format.
VBA Sort Command Button & On Save
May 26, 2009I have a sheet name "all" Sheet 15. What I want to do via VBA is sort range B4:I803 sort by Column G (ascending) then by Column H (ascending).
Have this sort activated by a command button or once the WB is saved then activate the sort prior to saving. The former is the preferred but if it's not to much trouble with coding then the former and latter solution would be great.
Command Button To Save My Worksheet As A PDF
Jul 14, 2009Not to sure if it can be done but i would like to have a button on my spread sheet that once pushed it automaticaly saves my worksheet as a PDF in a selected company folder in my documents.
I know if you go to file and save as PDF, then save in selected folder will work, just looking for a quicker way so my staff just needs to push one button on the worksheet and it does it all. (dummy proofing the form i guess)

Mar 17, 2009Is it true that I have to enable macro and choose to trust access to the VBA project object model in order to create and run macros? It seems there is some security risk associated with making the workbook as macro enabled. What makes the commands run from the ribbon security free? Is it true that we can work around the macro security concern by creating a command button to the ribbon and run the macro from the command button? If yes, how come I could not find any discussion of creating the command buttons? I am using Excel 2007.

Dec 17, 2012Excel 2007 I have a button that will export the worksheet to pdf and save it as Acrobat requires. I have a network folder set up and it saves the file with the name that I have programed in the macro. I would like to have the file name set up to be what is in cell C3 then a space and the specific words.
For example, if C3 contains "123456" I want the file to be named "123456_Warranty Calculator"
I will end up using this in several worksheets which will have a different name as part of the file name (based on the worksheet name).
I would also like to have the last part of the file name be the worksheet name. ie, "Warranty Refund", "PDR Refune", etc.
I will have several users that will be using the workbook and possible saving at the same time and want each person to be able to find the one they saved instead of it being overwritten.

P.S one other thing, say the button is in row 3, and Cells A1 and A2 are merged, when you click the button in row 3, it should extend the merge to A3.

Sep 16, 2012See attached file - I would like to use the "Create Parts issue Report" Button to create worksheet titled "Parts Issue Report" based on the pulldown menu in cell B1 tab "Vehicle data" so each pulll down will generate a different "Parts Issue Report" when clicking the "Create Parts Issue Report" button. I think it needs to be a looping VBA to go thru the "Vehicle Data" rows and columns looking for the keywords "late" or past" as I only want a report created on that criteria. The output criteria I have label in the tab "Parts Issue Report" I can explain further if needed.

My initial idea is to attach a command button to each individual sheet so that each user can click on the button to confirm that they have checked their data. What I would like to do is hide a worksheet within the workbook and when each user has checked their data - their button click will insert a tick in the relevant cell of the hidden worksheet e.g.

What I am trying to do is create some logic that would keep all 52 sheets Very hidden except sheet VA-1-1-09 Till the second week starts at that time what I would like to see happen sheet VA-1-5-09 come out of very hidden and appear visible and send sheet VA-1-1-09 to just a hidden state. Feb 3, 2010How can I return name of a command button on click? I want to create some sort buttons on a sheet I will use regularly to speed things up. I thought if I could call each sort button by the column letter the button sits in I can use this in a single sub for all buttons
