What I've got: This code allows the user to pick one (sub)folder - the MailItem properties of the folder are then printed to the sheet.
[Code] .....
My goal: Rather than allowing the user to pick one folder, I'd like to set up a hardcoded array of five subfolders found in a shared inbox. The hierarchy is as follows:
[Code] .....
The thing is, I have huge problems with referring to any of the red subfolders above. I think I'm able to point to the shared inbox if I substitute .Pickfolder with this, but then I'm stuck! I need to go down two levels in the hierarchy.
[Code] ......
I should be able to produce an array by myself so if I at least just could get a pointer on how to refer to one single folder that would be truly awesome.

I have attached a file that I need to update every hour and send to an email address every hour from 9am to 4pm on certain days of the week. To update this file, I need to hit "update" and "enable links" and it needs to send to a certain email every hour. Is there a way to automate this process?

what is the proper terminology for the Outlook "Thing" that opens up in excel (shown below)? Is it simply a toolbar? Add-in?
Second question, I have a excel file that automatically loads the outlook "Toolbar" each time it is opened.
The file was made in 2010 and password protected and locked, sent to a worker who edited the appropriate fields and saved, and then they sent the file back to me (2003 Format). Now this file automatically loads the outlook toolbar. I am trying to trouble shoot so what would cause this behavior?

I have created a spreadsheet that displays new dates in column D based on provided dates in Column B and recurrence intervals selected in column C. The dates in column D are when a training deadline occurs. I have been trying to get a macros written so that when a cell in column d is updated, an outlook appointment message is sent to the person doing the updating. The idea here is that anyone can use this without future coding (so their address would be placed in cell say A1)
So far all i have gotten is excel to send an email to me with the excel spreadsheet as an attachment, not really what I want. Again, I dont want somethign specific to my computer settings, I want to be able to send the spreadsheet out with simple instructions for the user to change their email in cell A1 and then every time a cell changes in column D, it automatically generate an appointment reminder for the new date.

Every day we receive a text report via email (only way it can be received), so we take this text report print it out and manually type it into an excell sheet.
I believe this is a waste of time. Is there any way I could take this info and automatically place in the the excell?? Until know I found a text to excell converter and was gonna create a macro to automatically convert this info into the excell report.

I have automated an import procedure and it works but I don't want to click OK every time the File Import window comes up. I find the filename (with Application.FileSearch) and then import it (with ActiveSheet.QueryTables.Add...). Then it brings up a window titled "Import Text File" with the correct file selected. It seems unnecessary to click OK every time. I tried Application.DisplayAlerts = False, but this isn't an alert. I'm overwhelmed by the other .Display... options and was wondering if someone knew which Application property applied to the Import window and how I could automatically "click" yes without doing it myself. Heres the basic code framework if its not clear already:
Sub LookupFiles()
With Application.FileSearch
.LookIn = "Z:MyFilefolder"
.Filename = "*.bom"
.Execute
For i = 1 To 10
sModuleFile = .FoundFiles(i)
Goto Line1
Next i
End With
Line1:................

How can I import specific cells from say Workbook A and B to Workbook C automatically? For example. As I type in a cell in Workbook A then Workbook C reflects it straight away. Same as when I typ in Workbook B the C updates automatically. The end result will be that Workbook C automatically updates itself to show data from specific cells in Workbooks A &B.

I have around 200 files, all named from 001.xls to 200.xls, all containing the same format, the same number of colums, but a different number of lines.
Now I have the great task to actually open all these files and copy each files data into one file and start analyzing it. Well, since I personally have no interest to open, copy and paste 200 hundred times, I am wondering if there is any faster way to let excel automatically copy the data into this master file?
I am thinking about somehing like *='001.xls'Sheet2!B2:E20*
One thing is that each file never has more than 20 entries, thus i would only need excel to import the from line 2 to 20 from a certain file and then do same thing all over again with the next file.

I am working on a file that is going to import and then manipulate data from another excel file automatically. I would like this to be as smooth as possible and I am running into a problem. The file I am importing the data from is password protected, so I am opening it in read-only. Also, the file contains links to other excel files.
What I would like to do is indicate in the code to open the file in read-only format so that the user doesn't get a message box asking for the password. Also, is there a way to suppress the message box about updating the links? I have tried application.displayalerts = false but that didn't solve my problem.

I wish to be able to calculate the % of a particular task that is done in a calender year based on the task start date and duration.
Columns Headings:
A: Start Date
B: Duration (months)
C: End Date (= Start date + (duration * (365/12)))
D: 2009
E: 2010
F: 2011
G: 2012, etc
Examples:
Start Duration End Date 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 etc
1 Jul 09 12 1 Jul 10 50% 50%
1 Nov 09 12 1 Nov 10 17% 83%
1 Nov 10 36 31 Oct 13 6% 33% 33% 28%
So there are two inputs and the outputs (%'s) are calculated for each year.

I found this code on this forum for a pop calendar. I created one for my user form, how ever I would like the calenadar to pop up when the user places the curser in the text box, when the user has slected the required date the calendar closes and the date the he/she selected is entered into the text box in which they placed the curser.
My userform is called userform1 and the calendar is called userform3
Private Sub Calendar1_Click()
Range("A1") = Calendar1.Value
Calendar1.Visible = False
End Sub
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Calendar1.Visible = True
End Sub
The above code works on a putting the information into cell A1 and not the text box, also it has a command button action, which I don't want

In my excel I want to use a calender date such as 05/21/09 and automatically add or subtract a specific number of days. For example: 10 days before 05/21/09....
I dont want to have to count back 10 days and manually enter it. Is there a way to have excel calculate and give me the date in my spreadsheet? i.e. automatically calculate (05/12/09)-(10 days)= 5/11/09. its not too hard when its 10 days, but when its -97 days, it can be very annoying.

I have made a cash register in excel with a cell that counts the total of all cash coming in per day whenever you push the button with "payed". I have another sheet where there is a column with all the days of the year. What is the correct syntaxis for transferring the total cash to the cell next to the right date in the other sheet every time i push the "payed" button (am I making any sense...?). And is there a way to reset the total amount back to zero automatically whenever the day changes?

I'd like to use a calender ifor this. To start, I did the following:
From Control Toolbox - More Controls - I selected:
Miscrosoft MonthView Control 6.0 (SP4)
This placed a calendar on my worksheet.
What I would like to do is the following
1. Calender Display
1a. When a next button is selected in my wizard it moves to a new form. (Got this done)
1b. The Userform has buttons: "Select Start Date", "Next", and "Cancel" (Got this done)
1c. When user selects date button, this triggers the 'Calender' to display.
Currently, ithe calender is still showing, so I first need to hide it.
It seems to be called "MonthView1" and has the following in the formula bar when Control Toolbox is in edit mode:
=EMBED("MSComCtl2.MonthView.2","")
2. Date selection
2a. User selects a date on the calender. (Easy if calender is displayed)
2b. User selects next button in User Form. (Triggers what follows....)
3. Variable assigned from selection
3a. 'Next' hides the calendar.
3b. 'Next' calls a marco that assigns the date selected from calender to a date variable.
sDate = ???.Value where ???=selected value from calender
3c. 'Next' hides current form and moves on to next in wizard sequence (I can do this)

Some people throughout our company were having problems using the excel form I created which contains a popup calender. Even with the mscal.ocx installed some people were having issues.
I found a popup calender that can be integrated into the form, and doesn't rely on the mscal.ocx. I put this into the form (that MANY people here helped create), and now all of the people that use the form no longer have any issues.

I have a spreadsheet with many cells that require a date. I have added calendar control 11.0 and running it with the code below. The problem is, that everytime the sheet is opened, the calendar gradually gets smaller and smaller each time the workbook is opened. I have tried resizing through formatting the object, but after opening the workbook several times, it's has shrunk down to unusable again.
Private Sub Calendar1_Click()
ActiveCell.Value = CDbl(Calendar1.Value)
ActiveCell.NumberFormat = "mm/dd/yy"
ActiveCell.Select
End Sub
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target.Cells.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
If Not Application.Intersect(Range("B161:B184,I161:I184,P161: P184,"), Target) Is Nothing Then
Calendar1.Left = Target.Left
Calendar1.Top = Target.Top + Target.Height
Calendar1.Visible = True
' select Today's date in the Calendar
Calendar1.Value = Date
ElseIf Calendar1.Visible Then Calendar1.Visible = False
End If
End Sub

I find this difficult to explain, so have attached an example. I need to total all entries on a calender that are entered after a specific date. EG:
If the given date is 15 Sept 08, I need all values in Sept - Mar to be totalled. I am measuring data on numerous spreadsheets, all others have specific start dates and finish dates, so its a simple a1-b1 to get the number of days, multiplied by costs. This particular spreadsheet is laid out in calender format, hence the problem)
