Indirect Function Placement In Array Formula

The following formula is all on one line. I want to do indirect for file name and tab in all instances it shows up. (I want to have the filename in one cell and sheet/tab name in another cell to reference the indirect to.)
How would I use indirect in the formula to reference the cells?
=INDEX('[Feb 2014.xlsm]TRADEDB'!$A$75:$Q$131,
SMALL(IF(('[Feb 2014.xlsm]TRADEDB'!$A$75:$A$131=$H$8)*('[Feb 2014.xlsm]TRADEDB'!$G$75:$G$131=$I$8),

I'm in the middle of making a yahtzee game in excel. Does anyone know if it is possible to use the indirect function in the formula of a picture. I have embedded 6 bitmap images of dice on sheet 2 (worksheet name: "Dice Images"). I took a picture of one of those dice and pasted that picture on sheet1. The formula in the picture is: ='Dice Images'!$A$1
This means that it is refering to cell A1 of the "Dice Images" worksheet of which contains the pasted bitmap of the dice image. I was wondering if I could use the INDIRECT function instead of the formula above but the following returns an error:
=INDIRET("'Dice Images'!$A$2",true). It returns the following error: "The text you entered is not a valid reference or defined name". It doesn't seem to like the INDIRECT function for some reason, unless I am doing something wrong.

=D5-VLOOKUP($C5,$C$45:$F$80,2,0)
I have formulas such as above in my Worksheet. So the above is in Cell H5
For the Range $C$45:$F$80, I am inserting rows (So moving down the data) and copying data from $C$5:$F$40 as values into the new space in $C$45:$F$80
I am doing the above using a macro, but when I run it I want this
Code:
=D5-VLOOKUP($C5,$C$45:$F$80,2,0)
to stay static, but instead I end up with
[CODE=D5-VLOOKUP($C5,$C$85:$F$120,2,0)[/CODE]
So my Table Array $C$45:$F$80 changes to $C$85:$F$120
How can I keep it as $C$45:$F$80
The other references in the formula seem to stay as I want them.

Because countif cannot be used across multiple tabs, I'm using the following workaround where "MySheets" is the range of tabs and E8 is the cell I want "counted".
=SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIF(INDIRECT("'"&MySheets&"'!E8"),"Fully implemented"))
This works perfectly, except that I really need COUNTIFS... I want Excel to count either "Fully implemented" or "Partially implemented" when in E8. I cannot get the formula to work and keep getting an error message.
=SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIFS(INDIRECT("'"&MySheets&"'!E8"),"Fully implemented",(INDIRECT("'"&MySheets&"'!E8"),"Partially implemented")))

Attached I have a document where I am wanting all of the individual sheet names on the Total page. Rather than having to change each formula to match the sheet name I believe there is a way to reference the sheet name column (AO) in the formula so you can drag it down to fill in the columns. I am basic with Excel and do not know how to add this indirect function into my current formulas.

I'm just getting into functions, so please bear with me on this as I start to understand how they really work. I do have the VBA and Macros for MS Excel book which has been a great help!
Normally on this I would use a simple array formula to gather a total calculation from a timesheet, but in this case there can be numerous timesheets to add this up.
Hours would be recorded on a sheet with both a client and a task selected. I also have a summary sheet to show clients against tasks... adding all the hours from each timesheet.
If it were from a single Timesheet (possibly creating a single one of these for all sheets is an option?) I would be able to use the following array formula:
=SUM(IF((Timesheet1!$F$8:$F$22=C$5)*(Timesheet1!$G$8:$G$22=$A9),Timesheet1!$D$8:$D$22))
Timesheet1 Column D = hours
Timesheet1 Column F = clients
Timesheet1 Column G = tasks
Row 5 (starting Column C) = clients in summary sheet (across top)
Column A (starting Row 9) = tasks in summary sheet (down side)...........

I have 20 worksheets that each have a 4-week training block for a University Athletic Program. Each worksheet has 5 named ranges for days of the week. The sheet for Block 1 has the named ranges: B1M, B1T, B1W, B1TH and B1F. From a Summary sheet, I have VLOOKUP formulas that each look in 1 specific named range. I have to insert the Name in thousands of formulas so I have listed the names in a column in the Summary sheet and then referenced the cell with Indirect from in the formula. Example B1M in cell C3 would have Indirect(C3) in the formula, but this causes the formula to become volatile and the workbook calculates very slowly. Is there a way to format the name in C3 or reference it in the formula so that it is not volatile?

I have a problem with an array formula where I want to sum the values in every 7th row. The problem I have is I am receiving #VALUE! in my returing cell of the formula when there is text in the array. Is there a way I can avoid including the text in the array or maybe error checking using ISERROR and ISNUMBER.

If the data looks like this:

What would the formula be to calculate that array of values = 57% because 4 of them are equal to or greater than 9, and there are 7 of them in total? The formula should accommodate however many numbers are listed and calculate what percentage of them are 9 or 10.

Actually with the help of array formula I"m taking out Average, Min, Max value of ranges and I was omitting zero but the problem is occurring that if i have originally zero in my ranges then Average & Minimum function is not working properly.

I have dates & times in column A1:A20. In B1:B20 I have the corresponding temperatures for each date. I have set up the following dynamic ranges to refer to these ranges.
DateRange refers to A1:A20
TempRange refers to B1:B20
I have also made a user defined function that will determine if a date/time is between two times. Eg., If 21/05/06 07:30 is between "07:00" and "17:00". This function isn't concerned with the date, just if the time falls between the start and end times.
Function BetweenTimes(dDate As String, dStartTime As String, dEndTime As String) As Boolean
dDate = CDate(dDate)
dStartTime = CDate(dStartTime)
dEndTime = CDate(dEndTime)
BetweenTimes = False
'If the end time is before the start time, see if date/time falls between start and end..........

I need to find a way to find an array in a tab to use for an index/match function I have.
this is what i would normally use: =index(tab_array,match($a2, tab!$a$1:$a$1000,0),match($B$1,tab!$a$1:$zz$1,0))
This formula would usually work fine when I know that within the tab, the array in which the row match is searching doesn't change. However, that array may change in the future, to say column H, without my knowing as it is a database that gets automatically populated from an upstream system.
Is there a way to search for an array within an index/match?

I am looking to be able to alter my table_array section in VLOOKUP to adjust in date.
exampe: =vlookup(A4,'[Daily report - August 25.x;sx]Facilities'!A4:AY100,84,FALSE)
and I want to be able to change the August 25 -> August 26 repeating so that as I drop the next date in it will update to the correct tab.
I have the dates above so if I could somehow just the date to another cell instead that would work as well. I just do not know how.
Essentially I need to grab data from a separate workbook everyday and compile it to one master list.

I'm looking to loop a comparison code. I'm using dynamic referencing (using x and y) to find maximum values for specific time intervals. The code works on a cell to cell basis, meaning if I input the formula and change the cell referencing manually then the equation will give the desired results. However when I attempted to create a VBA code to speed up the process I kept getting a 1004 Unable to set FormulaArray Property of the Range Class error, I later figured out that the Formula Array function is limited to a certain number of characters so I split up my function into 3 different string formulas. I still get the same error.

I just need to find the MIN of P6 to Px. Where x is a number that is from another sheet. (Lets say B3)
I thought this would be it, but its still not working, gives me #REF! error

I totally understand how to make the combobox under form controls now but I am not having any success with the indirect function I was using as a list now that I have a combo box. I have attached the current form I am working on that just shows the list function still. How to convert this over to combo boxes with the indirect function?
I attached a second form with the feature I am asking about. It is just lacking the third list that I now have in place. (on the 1st attachment).

I am having issues using the INDIRECT function to lookup data from a sheet with the same name as that appearing in a given cell. For example, in cell D27 i have the text "S1_358_810" (Not including quotations). I also have a sheet named "S1_358_810". My formula is as follows;
Formula:

However this is returning #N/A. There is a list of numbers in sheet S1_358_810 in column N and from that I want the value in column Q (thus 17).

Always have problems getting my head round the syntax of the indirect function and am unable to find anything similar that's been asked.
I want to perform an operation on two numbers where the user selects which to use (add, subtract, multiply or divide) entered into another cell like this:

how to use the indirect function to pull data from a pivot table. This is the formula I am trying to recreate: =GETPIVOTDATA("sum of BOE",$A$14,"CLASS","PROVED","Years",2013)
I can't seem to get the indirect function to work properly with the words in double quotes, such as "PROVED". How do I format that part of the formula properly?

I have two workbook, test1 (master file) and the other one is test_10_05_2014 with 100 some of them being updated daily. The last portion of the file "test_10_05_2014" is the date and we have different file on daily basis.
using Indirect function in vlookup should give corresponding value for the particular name. Formula used is giving error,

I am building an attendance spreadsheet and trying to copy and paste all of the names from Sheet 1 to Sheet 6 for a different purpose. Thing is I need the names to match so I'm not having to copy and paste every time my data changes.
My problem was that when I insert a row into sheet 1, sheet 6 accommodates and then I'm missing data and have to insert a new line manually.
At first I tried using absolutes ($) to fix the problem, but that's a different ballgame.
I've discovered INDIRECT and so now use this formula: =INDIRECT("'DIRECTORY 2014'!B5"). It works.
But I have almost 300 entries. Is there a way to expedite the process without having to change each entry? I don't want to have to retype the function on every cell.

My sheets are all categorized by date, and I want to be sum individual cells on each worksheet on one final summary worksheet. For example, if cell A1 on each sheet was units sold and I wanted to see how many total units were sold between Jan-04-08 and Jan-16-08 my formula on the summary sheet would be:
=SUM('Jan-04-08:Jan-16-08'!A1)
But I want to be able to easily modify what dates my summary sheet shows so I tried using the function:
=SUM(INDIRECT("'"&N14&":"&N15&"'!A1"))
where N14 was the starting sheet and N15 was the ending sheet. It keeps giving me #REF! however and I can't figure out why and don't know if this is something I can fix.

i know it is possible for a selection in a drop down box to determine another field using the INDIRECT function in validation
eg - 1st drop down box - Football, Rugby, Cricket
2nd drop down box (if chosen football) - displays list of football teams
2nd drop down box (if chosen rugby) - displays list of rugbyteams
2nd drop down box (if chosen cricket) - displays list of cricket teams
but is it possible for the 1st drop down box to determine what is available in a range of other drop downs?
eg - 1st drop down box - Football, Rugby, Cricket
2nd drop down box (if chosen football) - displays list of football teams
3rd drop down box (if chosen Man Utd) - displays list of Man Utd players
