Lookup- Way Of Searching For A Job Number Across All 31 Days

Due to the company that i work for doing alot of manuafacturing each and every day, i need some sort of look up.
For example, the currently excel sheet i use.

As you can see i have many different Job Numbers that i use.... BUT
The problem that i am facing is, that these jobs sometimes are carried over to more than one day, [sheet bottom of screenshot] but also we might make the job one day and and then not again untill next week using the same Job Number.
What I Need
I need a way of searching for a job number across all 31 days and for it to total up the "Quantity (Qty)" of them all that we made upon that Job Number.
So lets say the Job Number 91294 was run on day 1 (shown in screenshot).
And it made 25.
But it then ran again 3 days later on the same Job Number 91294.
And it made 20.
I need it to be able to work that out the total for me across them days being 45 upon the Job Number 91294.
Things to Consider
The layout will NOT change, no extra rows or coloums will be added.

I am making process TAT(Turn Around Time) which required following information. In Excel 2007.
1-Count number of days between two dates where working days are (Sun to Thursday). So required to exclude (Friday,Sat + Holidays)
A1-Start Date Mar/01/2014
B1-End Date Mar/31/2014
C1-No Of Days 22
D1-Days between two dates 21
E1 To E10-Holidays
2-Count number of days between two dates where working days are (Sat to Thursday). So required to exclude (Friday + Holidays)
A1-Start Date Mar/01/2014
B1-End Date Mar/31/2014
C1-No Of Days 27
D1-Days between two dates 26
E1 To E10-Holidays
Note : Any weekend (off days) dates listed in holidays should not effect the query.

I want to calculate the end date of my German courses. This is how it works:
A course consists of 60 LU*. The course can occur i. e. three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In each day the course lasts 2 LU, which means 6 LU each week. There is no course on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and on holidays. Therefore this type of course that begins on 18-Nov-2013 will end on 03-Feb-2014.
Another course which occurs Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and respectively has 2 LU on Tuesday, 2 LU on Thursday and 3 LU on Saturday and starts on 03-Dec-2013 will end on 06-Feb-2014.
Therefore I want to create a worksheet where I set the start date, choose the days and respectively the LU amount on those days. The end date shall be calculated according to these criteria.
The workday function on excel cannot do this and I do not have any programming skills to work with VBA.
Legend:
*LU = lesson units; 1 LU is 45 minutes

I just started coding excel literally this week and I'm having trouble getting something to work. >.< I'm trying to look up a Name, if the date falls between Check-In Date and Check-Out Date.
Below is my basic layout:
Sheet 1: This is where raw data is inputted
Room, Name, Check-In Date, Check-Out Date

What I'm trying to do is output the "Name" next to the "Room" if that person is staying at that part particular day.
I tried accomplishing this using nested VLOOKUP and if statements, however, it only works for the first Room it finds. If room 10 is used on a different day, I get a #value! error.
=VLOOKUP(10,'Room Reservation'!A4:H1002,IF(AND(VLOOKUP(10,'Room Reservation'!A4:H1002,7,FALSE)A2),2,""),FALSE)
Basically, it's searching for "10" if "Check-In"

I have a list of customers and account numbers contained within a cell. I need a formula if possible that searches from the right of the cell and then returns the all the numbers. e.g.

I can not use text to columns as they data is not consistant. Also worth noting is that the customer numbers vary fro 1 digit to 9 digits long.

The sub i'm currently using does an instr search for a unique string in an xml file. This works fine but i'd like to speed up the search if possible because I have a large number of xml files to search. My problem is that i have very little experience in parsing xml.
I notice that if i load the xml file and look at the namespaces i see item(1) through about item(20) and the unique string is always contained in one of those items. Note that the number of items can be different for each xml file i load.
The xml file is loaded into an object i define as oInstance and i'd like to do something like:
Do
counter = counter+1
if oInstance.namespaces.item(counter) = uniquestring then[code]....
but now i get Err.Number 91

write a macro that search first Row and if its finds the word "Date" then the whole column should select and change the Number formatting to Date, and if it finds the word "Time" it should change the formatting for the whole column to Time.
Below is the format of Table where it should change the formatting of Date, Start Time and End Time.

How to create a spreadsheet with what I think will be a very simple formula?
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 1 or less days, put a 1 in cell C2.
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 7 or less days but more than 1, put a 2 in cell C2.
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 30 or less days but more than 7, put a 3 in cell C2.
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 90 or less days but more than 30, put a 4 in cell C2.
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 91 days or more, put a 5 in cell C2.
OR
Another, maybe simpler, way of saying it is:
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 1 or less days, put a 1 in cell C2.
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 2-7 days, put a 2 in cell C2.
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 8-30 days, put a 3 in cell C2.
If date in B2 - date in A2 is 31-90 days, put a 4 in cell C2.

I have a table of data that I need to find the leftmost and rightmost number in that are greater than a specified number in another cell. I've attached a spreadsheet to show what I've got to work with.

How I can find instances of text strings containing two colon characters separated by any two (arbitrary) characters?
So in other words, "xxxx:xx:xxxx"
If I use :

SheetName.Cells.Find(What:=":**:", After:=[A1], SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlPrevious)
...I get a return of any strings containing two colon characters (regardless of the number of characters in-between) - because obviously the asterisk(s) denote any text whatsoever.
How do I specify a finite and exact number of characters between the colons when searching?

I need a formula that can lookup (and match the due date to the column heading weekday of top row in a worksheet calendar) a store in a data table and return it's product shipping date & time in the relevant column in a worksheet calendar.
In the data table, the store numbers are in column A. The product shipping days are in the first column in a 3 column group (store's may have multiple shipping days). The shipping times are in the 2nd column of the group. The shipping Due days are in the last column of the group (text is in red).
Worksheet Calendar:
This is where formulas will auto-populate the shipping days for each store. It will populate the shipping days in the proper column (Weekday) by matching it to the Due Days in the data table.
(We are only interested in due dates from December 18 to December 29)
For every weekday column (Monday - Friday) there are three columns:
- 1st Column: Shipping day
- 2nd Column: Shipping Time
- 3rd Column: Due Day (last day to ship).
Ex:
For store # 1401 - there are 3 order days for this store (between December 18 - December 29).
In the Monday column, this store does have shipping order for Wednesday 12/24 (1st column) at 4:30AM (2nd column) - because the due day is Monday (3rd column).
This 3rd column in every weekday group is what must be matched to the Due day in the data table.

on one sheet we have a summary of the main list, which includes totals of money recieved, totals of all the different sources (ie, where they heard about us from), the totals of the frequencies they pay (ie, how many donate monthly, quarterly...) ... etc. on the next sheet we have the "main" list of donors, their IDs, amounts, frequency, source ...
the totals on the first sheet are updated manually, but i want to change that as there are a great number of errors.

I would like to find the average number of days events take from start to finish.
My data is in 3 columns:
EventName StartDate EndDate
I have a ton of EventNames, each of which have a StartDate. But I want to calculate the average days to complete only for those EventNames that have EndDates.
So, if a cell in the column EndDate is greater than zero, then take that cell, subtract it from the corresponding cell in the StartDate column; Add all of them together and divide by the count of those rows in the EndDate column that have a value.
How do I put this in excel terms? ....

If I was to say have a date in cell A1, is there a formula which would tell me how many days from that date left in the financial year?
I was thinking an IF statement, but I know thats way off course! And it could get quite messy.
This is what I would like it to do:

This list goes on with every workday of the month repeat several times, with no day have any set number of entries. Also each new month is just tacked on to the previous list. All of this is in column A but there are many other columns of data with these dates. I just didn't see the need to replicate that here.
What I need is to be able to count the number of unique days per each month but I do not want to have to specify a range for the month of January, then another range for February, etc. I just want to be able to list the column A4:A1200 and have the formula select just the unique days for January. Then in another cell modify the formula for unique days in February and so on.

I am trying to set up a function to derive a number of days between 2 dates.
Within the table I have an on hire date, and off hire date, and an optional suspend hire date range in 2 other columns - ie. there are 4 columns with dates in.
On hire is in column B; offhire in C; suspend hire in G and recommence hire in H. The optional suspend hire date range will always fall within the main hire date range.
Column I calculates the number of days for the suspend hire period.
My key cut off date is in cell C4.
There are 3 different scenarios I need the function to cover.
1 - if the cut-off date (in C4) is later than recommence hire, calculate the number of days from hire start to cut-off date, less suspend hire period days.
2 - if the cut-off date (in C4) falls within the suspend hire period, calculate the number of days from the hire start to the begining of the suspend hire period.
3 - if the cut-off date (in C4) falls before the suspend hire period, calculate the number of days from the hire start to the cut-off date.
This is the fuction I have written:-

I am trying to calculate the number of days between two dates where the arrival date is in b5 and the departure date is in c5 for each month. I have been using the following formula =IF($C5="","",MAX(0,MIN(L$1,$C5)-MAX(K$1,$B5))) but when the stay is a full year it is giving me 365 in a single column. I think maybe I need to add in the number of days in the month but not sure how to do it.

I'm currently working on a file that has employee holidays/sickness etc. What I want to do is be able to see is a DATE FROM and DATE TO and next to it the total amount of working days between and including those dates. On top of the since employee's sometimes like to take half days I need it so that it can determine half days as well.
So for example I have an employee going to be off work from 29/10/2007 until 09/11/2007 12pm which is 10.5 days in total, but that includes weekends when I don't want it to.
Also it comes out as 11 days at the moment because I can't figure out how to get it to determine is it is half a day.
What formula should I use or if someone could create an example that would be really usefull :D
