Looping Through Contents Of Array?

I have stored the contents of a worksheet table to an array, thus:

The first column of the array contains team names, the second represents a colour that will be used for the background of a cell, the third represents the colour that will be used for the font of a cell.
What I now want to do is cycle through the first column of the array to see if the value contained within it matches the value contained in another variable ("Team"), then store the corresponding values from the second and third columns to other variable names ("BackgroundColour" and "FontColour".

I have a userform that as lots of text boxes on.
The text boxes are called "pos1" & "skill1" the number ranges up to 18.
I am trying to put the contence of the boxes on a worksheet using a loop so the 1 will change to 2 and so on.
How do I go about seting the loop up so it changes the name of the control each time.

I have a big macro that runs whenever there is a change made. I'm not gonna link it all because I don't think that would be useful... This macro does:
1. Disables Events.
2. Removes Protection
3.Calls some macros that check a few values and change a few cells.
4. Activates events.
5. Hides or shows ranges of cells depending on the results of the called macros.
6. Reactivates protection.
As well as the cells the called macro changes, there is a column of True/False results stretching from AE16 to AE491 with several blanks in the list as well. (All of this is decided upon a different macro that isn't linked with the change.) I want a loop that will read the True/False column and if it finds a false, make 8 buttons invisible.
I tried putting this code between Step 5 and 6 of the macro.

This isn't working at all... I was thinking if there was gonna be an issue then it would be the opposite where it stops the buttons appearing all together but even when there are falses and I am changing things it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I am trying to write code that will loop through one sheet, fill an array and then use that array to populate cells in another sheet. I have a sheet with group names in column A, then in column B through Column IV there are the members of that group. There may be no members in a group or every cell through Column IV could contain data. I need to loop through each row, one at a time, see if a cell contains data, if it does, put it in the array, if it's empty then the array is done for that row. I then need it to go to another sheet and dump that data, however, now it needs to drop it in five consecutive cells in a row, then drop to the next row for the next five cells, etc.
Once this is done it then goes back to the first sheet, drops to the next row nad starts over.
I know how to loop through the rows, I just am not sure how to fill an array using variables for rows and columns. i.e., I can't say fill array with b1 to b30 instead I have to say fill array with intRow,intFirstColumn through intRow, intLastcolumn.

I wanted to do a multiple return vlookup so I used an Index formula. I have account names and am trying to vlookup contacts associated with those accounts (4 max). So I have a list of Accounts all with 3 blank rows in between them.
How do I loop an array formula? So far I have the code..

This finds the 4 contacts associated with the first account in C5 which I named the cell "myVar". I now want it to find the contacts associated with the accounts in C9, C13, C17 and so on until the first empty cell.

I have a spreadsheet that lists accounts and I need to sum those accounts from data another worksheet. The problem is that the cell sometimes will have multiple accounts.
So a vlookup or sumproduct will not bring back the results when that happens.
For example
A2 = 626
no problem sumproduct or vlookup will work
A2 = 626, 627, 628, 629
problem can't lookup the 4 different accounts to pull the answer.
How can I make a formula see the value in column as an array to pull the answers?

I've created a textbox, call it Textbox1, where I've set EnterKeyBehavior and WordWrap to be true. If someone types something like
apples
bananas
cherries
in the textbox, and I use the following code

I'd like to have the array be something like
apples,bananas,cherries, or

or something else so I can tell when the user has hit the enter key. Is there any way to do this?

I have a cell that contains parts that are comma separated. I want to assign each of these parts to an element in an array so I can process them using a loop function.
Example Cell A1 = t4567, g8905, z3030
partArray = (t4567, g8905, z3030)
Is there a method or function i can use to achieve this?

I'm attempting to clear the contents from a range of cells on rows where a cell string may equal R, X, XX, Y, Z, ZX, #N/A.
The macro runs fine until it gets to a cell that contains #N/A. How to get this to work?

I've been given the task of automating a spreadsheet to assess whether work has been done by each employee. Every employee has their own spreadsheet, where column A is a job code, and column H contains either y or n dentoting whether they have completed the task (y) or not (n).
The main spreadsheet is designed to show any outstadning tasks across everybody so it has a list of everybodies names in column A and then any incomplete tasks will be listed from columns b onwards next to the appropriate person. Here is what I have done at the moment.

I thought this was a pretty simple formula but I am having difficulty creating it. I am attaching a little test spreadsheet. Sheet 1 is where the data will be entered. The Reimbursed column has a drop down choice of yes or no. The next 2 columns are the cost of registration and the cost of accommodations. On sheet 2 is where I would like the formulas. So in cell A4 I would like a formula that says if B3 on sheet 1 is Yes populate this cell with the contents of Cell C3 only, B4 of sheet 2 would then be B3 if A3 on sheet 3 is Yes and so on with the Not reinbursed if sheet 1 the Reimbursed column is no.

in C a string is nothing more than an Array of characters ending with a null character.
in VBA this does not seem to be the case.I am trying to use the BlowFish code from David Midkiff for some encryption, however the code sometimes fails:
When encrypting a string a string of a specific length should be returned. however sometimes one of the characters of the encrypted string is a null character, and the returned encrypted string (with a embedded null character) is causing me problems. I want to check for the null character and if present redo the encryption. But how do I check for the presence of this null character in a unicode (double-byte) string?
Checking with Len(encrypted) gives the correct length (!) but trying to move each (unicode)character into an array fails when using the Mid() function past the null character in the string.
Now I can use
byteArray() = StrConv(unicodetext,vbFromUnicode)
to get the lower byte of each character into an array easily, but how do I do this for both bytes of the unicode characters?
Using an integer array does not work other than through
intArray(j) = CInt(AscW(Mid(Outp, j, 1)))
which fails on the nullstring in my encrypted text.
I have tried with variants but so far no luck. I thought if the string was entered into a variant then I could also address the variant as an array of bytes, but that does not seem to be accepted by VBA.

Say I have 3 columns of data: A1:C10 and I want to run a Match() function on them all together to see if I get a match any one those cells, say the value of have in X1.
Since, Match only allows a One-Column lookup array.. is there a way to "concatenate" or "append" the 3 columns together within a formula so now I would be looking to Match in an array that is 1 column * 30 rows?
Basically want to convert =Match(X1,A1:C10,0) to =Match(X1,A1:A30,0) without moving around the raw data in the sheet.
And I want to avoid doing an AND or OR formula that uses 3 separate MATCH() for each column.
I have a hunch that the MMULT or MMULT/TRANSPOSE functions are involved, but can't seem to get it right.

I'm only starting to get to grips with arrays. I have what I consider to be a lot of data that I need to 'cut' into separate workbooks. I have written some code that does this by simply looping through each line, 250k+, checking against a variable and copying the row into a separate sheet. This took longer than it would have doing it manually. It was suggested to me that I use arrays to speed up the process. I have managed to store the test data into an array but am struggling to find a way to loop through and pull out an entire 'row' from the array based on a variable. I have looked for 2 days in various places to find some way to loop through the data held in the array, but to no avail.
That code will appear here from about 8am GMT tomorrow. I know that once I've cracked this I'm on the road to some very significant time saving and comprehensive report writing.

I want to pass an array to Offset in the "Height" parameter, without having to type the array.
{=MAX(SUBTOTAL(9,(OFFSET(A1,ROW(1:5),,{1,2,3,4,5}))))}
I can't seem to figure out how to build the {1,2,3,4,5}. I've tried another ROW(1:5) and have tried nesting that like N(ROW(1:5)) but nothing works.
How I can get the {1,2,3,4,5} without having to type it out (so that I can expand this to a larger list)??

I am trying to filter an array (the longer one) using the shorter array as the criteria. I am currently doing this using the following method
IF(LOOKUP(lookup cell, array)=lookupcell, lookupcell, "FALSE")
I then copy and paste 'values' and filter out the 'false' to get my final result.
This has worked in the past, but for some reason that I simply can't figure out, the formula isnt working! I've attached the example, and I've highlighted a number in blue (cell E522 and C103), (that should be being found in the 'LOOKUP' function) but is returning a "FALSE". I have looked over the code and simply can't figure out why Excel isn't returning the right value.
This is obviously happening for a quite a few of my numbers, as my filter result is returning an array that is about 1500 shorter than it should be. I have highlighted E522 as the 'example cell' to look at.

How do I continue to loop through the last row and get the values to 3 differrent text boxes?
If I remember right, I think the command is Offset, 1 to go to the right one cell correct?

I have created a spreadsheet used for timber design. The spreadsheet calculates whether a specified size of timber column will support a specified load under certain conditions.
The various conditions include, load duration, service class, strength class and limit states.
Ok at the moment the user specifies the load and length of the column, then chooses a size of timber and sets the conditions mentioned above. Once this has been done the calculations i have put together on another sheet, work out whether the size of timber can support the specified load.
It is important to know that the answer for the final strength formula of determining the strength of the column should be equal to or less than 1. If this is the case then the column is ok, if the answer is larger than 1 then the column isnt safe.
Also at various points within the calculation certain checks are required to make sure certain design values satisfy certain criteria. If they dont then a new size of timber sould be tried.
What i would like to be able to do is use a loop so that the spreadsheet will use differing sizes of timber and calculate the values that satisfy the criteria and eventually find the size of timber required. The final answer of the strength calculation should be as close to 1 as possible but not over.
