Macro To Print Non Duplicates

Mar 4, 2009

I've found this macro that prints out the information for each row, when I select the range -which is great. The only problem I have is, if i have the same info in the first row and second row it prints out both. Which is what the Macro below is meant to do.

Can a IF formula be placed in the Macro so that if person A in row 1 is already printed, it will skip person A in row 2 and print out the next row, and repeat the process for any other duplicates.

Sub PrintForms()
Dim StartRow As Integer
Dim EndRow As Integer
Dim Msg As String
Dim i As Integer

Sheets("Runsheet").Activate
StartRow = Range("StartRow")
EndRow = Range("EndRow")

If StartRow > EndRow Then
Msg = "ERROR" & vbCrLf & "The starting row must be less than the ending row!"
MsgBox Msg, vbCritical, APPNAME
End If

For i = StartRow To EndRow
Range("RowIndex") = i
If Range("Preview") Then
ActiveSheet.PrintPreview
Else
ActiveSheet.PrintOut
End If
Next i
End Sub

The duplicates will be UPC codes in a single column that will be "numbers stored as text". I would like the macro to search all of the column (Column Q for example), then highlight and find each dup.

Macro To Delete File Duplicates?

Feb 5, 2013

I have a macro at work that shows which files are duplicates (same name plus file size) it then produces a list of this with 3 fields file path(excluding file), file name and ext, and size. it produces a duplicate of the file for example:

file a
file a
file b
file b

i would like a macro to delete just 1 of theese (as deleteing both would be bad!! haha) and have no idea how to start this. other than going through all 1679 files that have a duplicate.

Detailed Macro To Find Duplicates

Feb 22, 2007

I work with large spreadsheets. I was hoping that someone would know how to create a macro that will take selected cells in column C and search all of column C for exact duplicate entries. The macro envisioned would let you select cells to test. If a dulicate entry is found I would need the macro to test the cells in column E against one another. If both C & E match exact (if possible maybe display the findings in a pop up box) I would like the macro to ask me if I want to delete the duplicate entry, if yes, delete the entire row. If no, skip it and move to the next one. If C but not E match I would need the macro to ask me to remove test cell. if yes, cut out the entire row of the TEST cell and paste it in a new sheet. If no skip it and move on.
Am I just dreaming or can this be done.

Speed Up Macro: Deletes All Duplicates

Is there possibly a better code for doing this?

lcount = 1

Pivot Table To Not Count Duplicates - But Show Duplicates When Click Into It

Aug 24, 2011

In short, I would like a pivot table to only count unique values, but when I click into the pivot I would like to show all instances of that value. For example:

I have a table of data that I am creating a pivot table from. There are fields for Customer ID, Task Name, Age, and Notes. There will be multiple records for a single Customer ID each time it has new notes.

I would like to create a pivot table that has Task Name in the Row Labels, Age in the Column Labels, and count of Customer ID in the Values, so that, for example, I can see how many accounts have been in the Design task for 2 days. However, when I do this it counts each record, but I would like it to count each unique Customer ID. Also, when I click into the pivot, instead of pulling up one line per Customer ID, I would like it to pull up each instance of Customer IDs in that Task Name/Age combination (similar to doing a DISTINCT in SQL).

YES indicates to print off an additional worksheet and NO indicates just print the active sheet.

In the active sheet I have dropdown list in B6 to select a drug name to calculate IV medication drip rates. I also have other worksheets Named the same as in the list. For example, if you select D5W in the list, I have a worksheet named D5W. If you select YES in the message box, I would like to have the Active Sheet and the Medication Summary page print, ELSE just print the Active Sheet.

Fix My Print Macro

Dim CCopies, bwcopies As Integer

Copies = Application.InputBox("How many color copies?", Type:=1)
Copies = Application.InputBox("How many B&W copies?", Type:=1)

Print To PDF Macro

Aug 20, 2009

I'm trying to write a macro which prints to PDF and I've been looking through all the posts currently on this forum to get something working. I'm using the following code -

Sub PrintPDF()
Filename = "C:Documents and SettingssambMy Documents" & ActiveSheet.Range("Z1").Value
SendKeys Filename & "{ENTER}", False
ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.PrintOut Copies:=1, ActivePrinter:= _
"Adobe PDF:", Collate:=True
End Sub

The macro prints to PDF, but then it stops at the Save As stage, where I have to manually enter the name of the file and click Save. I obviously want the macro to automatically name the file with the contents of cell Z1. I then want it to then automatically press enter.

Macro To Find Duplicates And Consolidate Certain Relative Cells?

Feb 5, 2014

I am currently working on a project where i am given a sheet that typically has several hundred rows of data and not seemingly organized in any manner. This document has 6 columns, and my main focus is a range of dates (in MMM-YYYY form) from around early 2000 to now that can have duplicates. The dates(Column C), have corresponding Usages (Column D), and Costs (Column F) and I need to add these values together and remove the duplicate months so I only have one Usage and one cost Per month.

My spreadsheet has 6 Columns of data, and varying number of rows. Currently, since I receive the numbers in an unorganized fashion, my macro organizes the data into a table and then sorts the table be date so I have the oldest dates first and the duplicates are adjacent. There may be varying numbers of duplicates, though typically 0 to 4.

Macro To Find Cell Value In Column And Retrieve Duplicates

Mar 4, 2014

So I have the macro written, but I don't get the complete data that I am looking for. This is what I am trying to achieve

Here is an example of what I am trying to achieve. This is in the first sheet:
Column A Column B
Car Saw
Dew Jacket
Pen Key
Saw Screen
Hand Shoe
Jacket Window
Screen Sock
Screen Mouse

Now I want this in the next sheet:
Column A Column B Column C Column D
Car Saw Screen Sock
Car Saw Screen Mouse
Dew Jacket Window
Pen Key
Saw Screen Sock
Hand Shoe
Jacket Window
Screen Sock
Screen Mouse

In my current macro, It displays most of what I am looking for, but not a duplicate ID if there is one. For example Screen, there are 2 IDs. My macro is only getting the first one and then skipping over the second ID. I would like it to where if there is a double or if it is there more than once that it gets all of the data.

Here is my macro.

[Code] ....

I will also attach the document of what I am looking for : Data 1.xlsx
