I am prepare budget salary base on actual joining date and budgeted joining date. I can only manage to get the formula by joining month not by joining date

Date Of Birth And Joining Date, In The Format "mm/dd/yyyyy"

I have database of my entire staff with thr date of birth and joining date, in the format "mm/dd/yyyyy".

I want if the date of birth is equal to today()+1, that means if someone is having his b'day on 25may ,and today is 24 may so its cell colour should turn into red.

I know conditional formatting is to be used here. but bit confused with the formula.

I am trying with this
=IF(TEXT(C3,"dd-mmmm")=TODAY()+1,true,FALSE), but not working.

means I want if someones b'day is coming , I want to ge t informed earlier.

Calculate A Salary Earned Between Any Two Dates

I work in a large Public Service Payroll Department. I am trying to create a spreadsheet that will automatically calculate arrears payments for salaried staff. What I need is something that will make the calculation after I provide a start date an end date and old and new salary per annum. I'm self taught using excel but at a very very basic level.

My problem is that I don't know how to enter a formula which will give me the correct amount between 2 dates. For example

01/10/2005 to 16/09/2005 old salary PA 16000 new salary PA 17500. The manual formula would be:
((17500 - 16000)x1/12) + ((17500 - 16000) x 1/12 x 16/30)) = £191.67

I have percentages set up for my monthly costs (student loans, food, spending money) and I want to be able to type in my weekly salary and have the percentages break it down into dollar amounts. Later, I'd like to put that into a pie chart, but I'm really only asking for help referring each category/percentage to the total $ value I enter each day/week/month.

Salary Bracket Returns Employees Corresponding Contribution For Health

I have this table which has employees names with basic pay and contribution.

I was tasked to create a excel sheet where in if the employees basic pay is input, the corresponding contribution for the employee will show depending on which salary bracket he/she is on.

I am not allowed to know what my workmates salaries are since im just an associate, so i just have to leave em blank and wait for my manager to input their salary.

Example.xlsI have a list of people with 10 years of salary history for each (in ten consecutive columns on the spreadsheet). I need to calculate in excel the highest 5 consecutive year average salary for each (if they have less than 5 years with salary, then it should just average the years the do have). Some people have breaks in service (for five years, there is a blank in that entry). These years should be ignored and skipped in calculating the avergaes.

I have two spreadsheets, A & B. A can be thought of the master spreadsheet and has one record for every employee giving personal information, including a personel number. B has 0, 1, or 1+ records for every employee in A. Each of these records has a personel number. I want to copy the value of a specific field from B to A.

For example:

merge A & B:

I have 2 columns of Data that contain address fields.

The address2 Column is based on a formula.

What i need to do is combine the 2 columns together in another sheet in a column. I do require duplicates to come through, and ideally i need it sorted.

I've got a spreadsheet where the start date is amendable and this is what I wanted. E.g. start date is Jun-14 and I want the formula to to calculate annual salary divided by 12 in each month from June onwards until Mar-15 (Financial year is April to Mar) and the same way to not show anything in April or May as they started in June... How can i achieve this please as I tried IF statements and it doesn't recognise dates and years...

Joining Two Datasets Together (VBA Needed?)

So I have two sets of data, I've attached a worksheet which has them both. The datasets have different intervals, but I need to drag "Colour" from Data2 into Data1 and associate it with the correct interval. Sometimes the intervals match up and sometimes they don't - which could be a problem, but as long as its within a small spread it's fine. The "Colour" column in Data1 is filled with my desired result, the source being Data2.

I have a data in excel , sample sheet attached.

and i have another place for compile where all the data is summarized

What i want is

If the agent name is example 1 and his mistake is present in raw data and it matches the agent id , date and financial then i want excel to calculate how many " financial " error agent made on that particular date only so that i can assign to another agents too , to get exact data no matter in whichever series that data is inserted in excel.

if i use countif and if all the condition are met it shows me all financial mistakes count and if it shows false it turns to zero . if agent make " financial mistake " on 1st nov and he made another non financial mistake then as it should show only the count of that particular agent " financial mistake " on that date only from the given RANGE DATA

I feel like I should be be able to do something like Join(Range(XX)," ") to create a space-separated string of values...

Have I missed an easy one-liner, versus one by one concatenating the value from each cell?

In this case, I am doing exactly that - taking 4 columns of more or less unimportant data and cramming them into a single column just in case they are needed someday.

I am using Excel 2007 and have to send monthly payslips to respective email ids. I have the Name and Email ids in Sheet 2 Range B1:C59 , and employee codes in A1:A59. And in Sheet 1 i have the Payslip format which was automatically displayed when i select the employee code from drop down list in the cell E7 in sheet 1.

Every time i manually save the files as PDF and send to their Emails. I want the out put as whenever i select the employee code from drop down list , it should automatically save as PDF with Name of that employee ( Name of the employee is located in B1:B59 in Sheet 2 ) and attachment should automatically go to that employee's email Id.

IF Statement With Date Calculation Within

I have several columns as so:

B - Patient Surname
C - First Surname
D - Postcode
E - Date
F - Results of If Statement (Days Difference)

I am looking to comapre b, c, d with teh previous cells to make sure I am looking at the same person hcen the AND statement. If they all match then if subtracts the latest date (column E) from an ealier date for the same person. If the person is different it will return a 0. If the date is the same ti will return a 0.

I have done this so far - =IF(AND(B2=B1,C2=C1, D2=D1),(E2-E1),0)

What I am struggling to do is if the number of days (E2-E1) is 0-3 then for the result to show the text "Less then 3". If the value is 4 - 7 then to have it read "Less then 7", anything over 7 to read "OVer 7".
