When i open the userform it asks for enable and diable macros. If i click "Disable macros" then the users can manipulate the data inside the excel sheet. i need to avoid this problem.
So, is there any option that if i do "Disable macro" then the corresponding sheet for the which the Userform is linked should not be visible or hidden.
Does anyone know of a way with VBA to hide the tabs when saving excel as a web page?

I have two workbooks that are used in conjunction with each other.
One is a template that creates a quote, the other is a workbook that has data which is used to populate the newly created quote. The data workbook is opened and closed by the opening and closing of the template. But beside the need for the user to see the data when they are selecting which items to add to the quote, there is no other reason for them to see it on the "View", "Switch Windows" for you 07 users, can't recall 03, or on the "Windows Status bar" at the bottom/side or where ever it's placed.
Is there anyway to hide this from the user, and or prevent the user from saving any changes on the data workbook.
Came across this code on MSDN but not sure how to incorporate it or if it's even applicable. [url]

Is there a way to change the page view without activating the sheet? I would like to loop through a bunch of sheets and change the page view.
I currently am aware of the ActiveWindow.View command, but this requires me to first activate the sheet. Is there a similar Sheet.View command, or something like that?

I want to write a VBA code that will place ActiveX Frame directly onto the worksheet and then add 3 Option Buttons from Toolbox into that frame.
I could not find an answer searching through the web... Also when trying to record macro and see the code it did not record placing the buttons from the toolbox or any formatting (color, caption, etc.) via properties...
When formatting the buttons it would be useful if the selected radio button would have different color, bold font, etc.
I was wondering if it is possible at all to hide or delete the default page field option to select "(All)" in a pivot table, and to just have the pivot default to the first list member in that page field.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a sales spreadsheet, that people on this forum have very kindly helped me with by giving me two macros; one to remind users that they need to update the month cell when an order comes in, and the other to automatically put the date in a cell when any cell in that row is changed.
The final thread is here: Message To Remind That Cell Is Mandatory
and the Macro used is:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim c As Range
Application.EnableEvents = False
For Each c In Target
If c.Column = 11 Then
If c.Value = "100 - Purchase Order In" Then
MsgBox "Is the Month In correct?"
End If
End If
If c.Column > 1 And c.Column < 18 Then
Cells(c.Row, 1) = Now
End If
Next c
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub
However...
We've now found that we cannot undo anything in these spreadsheets. If, for example, a cell is incorrectly copied or deleted, the only way of undoing the change is to shut down the spreadsheet without saving!
Is this just a by-product of using the time macro (a search on other threads suggests that it might be), and, if so, is there any way of changing it?
is it possible to choose an option button which will then perform a calculation on a cell reference? I’m trying to deduct a percentage from a total when an option button is highlighted.

I have a spread sheet and I want to have multiple option buttons on it. but for separate things
e.g. I need roughly 50 option buttons. however. I want about 25 groups of them.
so I want 2 buttons next to a cell where user can select one. then I want 2 more on cells below where user selects one for a different question
but at the moment, every single option box copies every other box when I changed the format control cell reference. even though I haven't copied and pasted them!
I have been using this to print multiple sheets. The only problem is if you want all sheets in the workbook you have to check every one. How would I add an option to 'print all'? But I still wouldn't want to print the hidden sheets.
