Tab Color Choice From Form?

I am using an Excel Form, and trying to make the user choose a color for a new tab they are creating. I am currently forcing an input box to pop up when the user adds a new worksheet. The user inputs a name and a new box will pop up asking the user to select a color.

I can get the color box to come up using

Application.Dialogs.Item(xlDialogColorPalette).Show ' -- 56 colors

But I can not get the tab color to change to the color chosen..retrieve the information from the ColorPalette box?

I also know that this code:

Will change the selected "a" tab color to color "56" but I dont know how to retrieve a color from the color palette and insert it where the "56" is...

retrieving color from palette?

Also, is there any othere version of a color palette, that I could show the user? and what would the vba code be for that?

Mult Choice Listbox Form

Allow a user to make multiple choices from a user form listbox populated from a named range (LIST), that when checked and the submit button is clicked would add TRUE to column A in the same row for each selected item. Then when the user opens the form again - for each row where there is TRUE in column A, the check box on the form would be checked and if the user then removed the check and clicked submit, TRUE would be removed from column A that was associated with that item/row on the worksheet.

UserForm Initialization: Fill The Form Out Once And Click 'OK' (run The Code To Put The Form Data Into A Sheet)

I'm missing something in my UserForm initialization code. If I fill the form out once and click 'OK' (run the code to put the form data into a sheet), when I go back into the form all the old info is still there. If I then click 'Cancel' (Unload Me) and reopen the form, the old data is cleared out. What am I missing to make it clear it out the first time?

Make A Choice Between € And $ In The Userform

I have 2 option buttons and 3 userforms. The passage between those userforms are made with "next/back" command buttons.

Options buttons are € and $ and they are in the first userform.

If the user make a choice between € and $ in the userform1, the following macro plays

Problem

The other 2 userforms contains texts that depends on the choice made in the first userform/option buttons (€ or $)

so in theory userform initialize should change the text and get what s written in Data Sheet.B2 cell automatically and INSTANTLY. But it only gets the initial choice and when I go back/forward between userforms and even change the € to $ or vice versa the inital choice remains in the next userforms.

I have a combo box on my userform. The selection made in the combobox will eventually control a calculation. I would like to generate some code so that when the user makes a selection in the combo box, and fills in all the requied info on the form, they can click a button on the userform which will generate a new combobox on the worksheet which would contain the user selection, along with the array that populates the combobox on the userform.

Show UserForm Before Printing For Custom View Choice

When I click the excel printing icon, I want a userform to pop up in which I make the choice for a certain customview that I build. This customview must then be printout. Note that I want to use the standard Excel print icon, not a custommade one in the worksheet. I figured out some code, but it doesn't work. For instance my if structure returns "false" even if I did click that commandbutton, see the code below.

I have a frame (Frame1) on a userform added using Microsoft Forms 2.0 Frame. I have added option buttons to the frame named OptionButton1 thru OptionButton4. I am trying to add code where certain cells are copied and pasted depending on which optbutton is selected. I currently have a drop down menu in one of my worksheets, in which I have several different text values entered. What I would like to do is link each of those text values to a numerical value, which would be entered in to another cell. So if I select "Option A" from my drop down list, and Option A is equal to 200, I want "200" to show up in another cell. If I select "Option B" from my drop down list, and Option B is equal to 400, I want "400 to show up in that same other cell.

Removing Selection / Choice From Listbox Once Choice Has Selected

I have a worksheet that has 8 activex listboxes. Each listbox is tied to the sames list of values (identified as a named range). The named range is a list of countries. Each country should only be selected once, therefore, I would like the selected country(ies) to not show up as a choice when the user makes a selection from another listbox. If this is too hard, maybe we can get a msgbx to appear anytime the users tries to select a country that has already been selected.

Userform - Importing Information From Spreadsheet Into Form

I have a userform that will be a 'work order' for repairs. The ladies in the office can fill out all the blanks that will be entered into the spreadsheet. Each time someone is done, it will plug the information on the next available row on the spreadsheet. Easy enough.

What I need is putting a 'work order number' on the form. I have put numbers (101, 102, 103...) in Column A on the spreadsheet. I would like the form to pull the next available number and put it at the top of the Userform. I want this number to be 'locked' in so the ladies can't change it.

My goal - when the ladies are filling out the form, they can see what 'work order number' has been assigned and can give this number to the maintenance.

AAPL, MSFT, NEE, etc...), and i have to create an excel file where i would copy/paste or enter in another set of stock ticker symbols and would give me back the answer if any of the newly entered symbols match the ones i already have(either in form of 1 or 0, YES or NO etc...).

I'm trying to prompt user when he tries to delete a value from a cell so he can confirm is action but not the same way to all cells.

Let's say that I have cells A1:F10 with values, and user should be able to change this values but not to delete them (can't be a blank cell) and I want to prompt him that info (something like "Cell can't be blank!").

In other range a want a different thing: let's say cells H1:K20. In this cells user should be able to change cells values and also delete them but I want to ask him for a confirmation (something like "are you sure").

i have a macro button designed to wipe all user entered data into a workbook. I want it so you cant accidently press (as you cannot undo the operation). Anyway for making a dialog box appear asking if you are sure to wipe date, with a yes or not option.. no will obviously abort the macro.

Confirm Prompt Before Macro Runs

I have a button. When pressed, it runs a macro. Instead, after pressing the button, I would like the user to confirm to run the macro and display some info about it. This is to make sure the user does not accidentally run the wrong macro (button). I just need a prompt box, with a line info, and the two choices YES and NO. If NO is selected, nothing happens. I have an excel form where users can input modifications by selecting a range and then pressing a command button to input a value in the selection.

My goal is: to restrict the location where a user can select a range of cell and then execute the macro . The cells where the user can use the macro are merged and in my code, I used the address as show in the address bar in excel for their location. If the user select a cell that is not permitted, a message box is displays and exits the code.

For some reason it doesn't work since the message box appears even if I am within the permitted locations.

Note: AE7 is the first cell of a merge, same as with BM7

Controls Added To UserForm Not In Form's Object List

I have been working on large project using Excel VBA for several days. My code seems to be working correctly, but I have more to do and now, when I drag an object from the toolbox onto a UserForm, the object is not added to the list of objects on the form. If I go back to versions of the project that I was working on several days ago, there is no problem. If I run "Workbook Rebuilder", the objects that I have dragged onto the form are then added to the object list, but I still can't add new objects to forms from within the VBA editor. Is the project corrupted, or is there some other explanation, and are there any fixes? The code runs about 50 pages, and there are over 20 forms, so redoing from scratch is only a last resort option.

Macro For Sending Emails :: Pop Up Confirm And Cancel

I'm using Excel 2002 on and XP machine. I am creating a spreadsheet to track a work plan.

Column A: Name
Column B: Date
Column C: Time
Column D: YES
Column E: No
Column F: New Date
Column G: New Time

What I'm looking to do is input click able buttons in Columns D: Yes and Column E: No.

When a user clicks on YES, a pop up window should appear with the data in columns A,B,C.

The p0p-up should contain CONFIRM and CANCEL buttons.

Asking the user if they want to confirm the date and Time.

If CONFIRM is clicked Excel should then send an email to me and the user to say that the work schedule has been confirmed.

If CANCEL is clicked the pop-up window closes.

Secondly if the user clicks NO, a pop-up window should open with two free text boxes. One for Proposed date and One for Proposed time. And again 2 buttons for Confirm and Cancel.

If Confirm is clicked then Excel should record the data entered in the free text boxes into Column G and Column H and send emails to me and the user with the Proposed date and Time Data.

If CANCEL is clicked the pop-up window closes.

Transferring Date Form Userform Textbox To Cell In Worksheet?

I have a userform with numerous text boxes. One textbox is used to input a date with the following code

When I have completed my userform I want to export this date as a date into range(a2) so I can then use the filter function to filter by month or year. THe problem I am having at the mo is that in the userform it is formatted as dd mm yy, but when I export it from userform it changes to mm,dd,yy. So if I entered 12th January 2014 it changes it to 1st December 2014.

A workaround is to export as text but then I use the filter by month year function so would prefer to avoid this.

I am trying to do a macro that looks to see if the date is different from one cell to another going down in rows. I got it to work until the cell is empty then it says the date dont match but I just want it to stop the loop. so it should go down a list check to see if the date is the same all the way down the list, stopping if cell is blank, if not give a message box, if it is the same stop.
