Auto Adjust Page Area

On my billing/table of contents sheets, there's an imaginary thick blue line that surrounds the bottom/right side of my chart, and everything outside it is grey/non-existent. I can click and hold this blue line to expand it over other cells to make them 'appear'. I have no idea what all of this is called.
The amount of columns I use for each sheet is static, but the amount of rows varies with each job. As it stands, I have to raise/lower that blue line every time I have new data. Is there any way to force this line to move up or down depending on the existence of data in cells automatically?

Is there a way to set Excel to only print rows that have data in them? I have an end user spreadsheet where the number of rows they have each time differs and I don't want them to have to manually set the print area each time.

The macro below works perfectly except for one problem. I only want it
to set the print area from Column A - Column M . It currently selects data i have in Columns N and beyond and i do not need that to print. From A - M is 13 columns.

Within one worksheet: Is there a way to apply page numbers and/or footers only to a print area so that if I change the print area the page numbers will begin at 1 again.

I am using code to auto adjust screen resolution when opening a workbook so that my workbook will span that computer screen of anyone opening it.
How to taylor it specifically for each worksheet as they differ in size in terms of what cells are used??

My macro "prints" (saves) my sheet as Pdf-file.
I wish to improve this such as print/save is based on the active area I choose at the time.
Now I must hide a lot of columns (show only the ones I will print) before "printing":
Columns("A:Z").Select

I just want to select some columns and set this range as a print.setup area.

I have made an excel spreadsheet. The area with data exactly fills my screen.
When I send it to other colleagues, it perfectly fills their screen too. But for some colleagues the data area is either too big for their screen or takes up a small proportion of their screen based on their screen resolution. I would like the area with data to perfectly fill the screen of all people who will access the file.
I am thinking that I would do an automatic event so that I can change the settings upon opening the file. I have Excel VBA programming for Dummies which explains about automatic events but I have no idea what sort of sub procedure to use.

I have a number of cells where I've put to wrap text, but the cell size is not adjusting when I type past the size of the cells, how do I get the cells the get bigger automaticly to fit all the text but bigger in height not length?

I have multiple data validations with input messages. For the new user, this is handy, but for the person that does this a lot, they get in the way. When I open the sheet, I can move one message to the side of the page and the rest of them come up at the same spot but when I save, exit, and reopen, the message comes up beside the cell and I would like it to always stay to the side of the page.

I am trying to dynamically set my print area and page breaks on a large sheet.
Basically I want to get the last column and last row in used in the sheet. And to create boxes (24x30) until I get all the way horizontally and vertically.

if there is a way with functions or code to automatically set the print area. I would like to have it set to start at A1 and print to column G & the first ROW with a zero value in column F.
The ROW in which the first zero value appears will be the only variable. It will
always be column G.

I have a hard time transitioning from other examples to my workbook.
What I am after, is for the print area on 2 sheets to be set by the count of non-empty cells in column B on the first sheet.
I have a maximum number of entries of 200 (rows) plus a header row. So, my entry #200 is in worksheet row 201 (cell B201)
In cell B203 I use formula "COUNTA" to tell me how many cells are not empty. As an example, this number might be 36.
The print area should be limited to worksheet row 37 (1 more than 36 due to the header row). My columns are always the same, A thru I.
On a second worksheet, measurements are recorded, 10 per row. So, if I have 36 items to be measured, I use 4 rows (10 per row=3 full rows and 6/10 of the 4th row).
I would like to have the print areas set automatically, based on this number in cell B203 (see above notes). On the 1st sheet (using example of 36 entries), my print area needs to be thru row 37, columns A thru I. On the 2nd sheet, my print area needs to increase 10 rows every time B203 increases by 10.
(this 2nd sheet has other info on it, so when the print area increases, it needs to go in steps of 10 rows. as an example, if B203=8, then the print area on the 2nd sheet includes cell A1 thru cell K13, but if B203=12, then the print area would be cell A1 thru cell K23)

I have a spreadsheet that I am running for world cup score predictions where people predict the result and depending on right users score sheet when I update the actual result workbook it gives them either 3 points for the right result or 1 point for the correct winner or draw of a different scoreline. All this data then feeds through to a league table of the current points.
How I would modify the macro below that when i enter the game scoreline it will automatically sort the league

I did try a search before posting this - either I am too stuipid or the info was a bit too cpmplicated and in bits and peices for me to figure out. My query is this
Lets say I have a workbook with around 10 sheets in it. and I have a saved a copy of the sheet ias a webpage (HTML ) for user convinence. Now is it possible to somehow ensure that when the orginal workbook is updated then this webpage would also get updated - both would be in the same drive ( I dont want to use internet for this purpose)

I have a sheet that already has page breaks set at specific intervals to ensure the data is displayed in a certain way on print, I can only have whole pages. The variable is how many pages are printed on each project, which can be anything between 1 and 20 or more. I have a few columns that contain line numbers, and formulae down the entire length of the sheet, so a basic last populated cell search won't work, but the column I'd like to focus on is Col F, which only has blank/empty cells below the last used one in use. Is it possible to have a BeforePrint code find the last populated cell in Col F and simply capture which print page number it is in, and set that as the number of pages to print?
So in summary, I'd like to be able to just hit Print, and the code will automatically set the number of pages to print based on which page contains the last populated cell in Col F.

I am interested in printing an entire workbook in one shot with multiple tabs, where each tab is one page. I would like to print the tabs such that the first tab has the number '1' in the footer, the second tab has '2' etc. And I don't want to go into each tab and type the number in the footer.
Does anyone know how to easily make this happen?

I have used the archive and Mr Excel and cobbled together a code which does what I want - that is to use a remote cell entry to update a specific page field cell in 4 pivot tables. I then use another remote entry to do the same to two secondary Page Field Cells in 2 of the 4 pivot tables.
However, if my remote cell has a number in it that IS NOT in the the pivot Page Field List then rather than breaking the code it simply overwrites (and therefore changes the value in the pivot table Page Field List) - disaster!!

I'm in the process of continuing to build this babe (very slowly, as I have limited programming knowledge), and I wondered if there was a way to modify this code to make it refresh the data page if a server's page fails to load.
Part of my code is something like this, the first part being just the pseudo log on script.
Especially when there are over 50 pages to grab, the chances of one of the pages failing to load is VERY high, and this macro stops at the "Refreshbackground=False" command.
Is there a way to trigger a "refresh" once it fails?

I am trying to graph the following data in an area chart with line charts superimposed on the area chart. I have a lot of data (and a lot going on) so I'm trying to figure out the best way to show this in excel from a functional standpoing (i can't get this to work in excel!!) to also an asthetic standpoint (dont want it to look terrible or illegible). This is what I'm trying to chart:
1) Weather data (temperature) by region:
So one region, would be: Northwest
I would like the "area" (so a shaded region) to be the min/max of the temperature data for each month.
2) I would like to show the temperature for each year as a line graph on the chart - so you can see if a year falls in or out of the shaded region.
3) I would like to show a company's sales increases across the same months per year as separate line charts. I may choose to just show the biggest outlier year in the end... or to show 2006 (the latest data).
What I am trying to convery with the chart is that the company's sales is or is not tied to weather deviations. I have attached an excel file with the data. I haven't been able to use the area chart or get a two axis chart to work or get it to look even remotely professional.

Is there a way to create a fixed print area within which you can mess around with formatting without extending or shrinking the print area?
I have tried adjusting the margins settings so that they are all the same, but this does nothing to keep a fixed print area.

I have some code that parses an html table. I want to put in error handling in case the format of the page changes or the internet page is unavailable. I am testing without an internet connection and the run time error is not being branched off to the error handler and is fatally ending the macro. This is true also if I raise an error manually.

I have a sheet that changes the number of columns based on data from other sheets. This is the only sheet in the workbook that I will print out every day. I have it set right now to fit all columns on one page, however sometimes this will result in the bottom 1/3rd of the sheet not being used. If I use fit all rows on one page, then some of the columns will get cut off. Is there a way to scale in both directions? My guess is there is not, but I thought I would ask because it would work great for me if I could.
