I have tried changing the offset to (0,0) or changing the offset to 'target = ', which does add in the vlookup but then the macro debugs at the 'If .Value "" Then' code?
Excel Change String Of Text In One Column With Other Column Data?
Sep 13, 2013I want to take what is in column A and replace the number after the "=" with new number.
I need a formula that identifies the 6 numbers or letters after the = and replaces with column A
111111 showstocknumnber//details.php?vid=111111
222222 showstocknumnber//details.php?vid=111111
345673 showstocknumnber//details.php?vid=111111
The 111111 after the = could be any string of 6 letters and numbers. The contents of column b are a URL.
Correlation Between Colour Brightness And The Auto Change From Black Text To White Text?
Aug 16, 2013So I have been playing around with the tab colors on my workbook and am trying to figure out the correlation between color brightness and the auto change from black text to white text. I've noticed that if the Green color value is higher, excel is more likely to use the black text. If Blue is high, white. Green takes precedence over Blue and Red is just kind of in its own world.how excel calculates this?

An example:
My htm document is located at C:/ and named XX.htm
The number I want from excel is in cell A1 in sheet1, and the worksheet is located in D:/ named yy.xlsx
And the text(number) I want to replace is in the following string in the htm document, in this string it is 72, next day it can be 30:

May 15, 2009I created a form in which TextBox Value will change based on selection in ListBox.
Problem : I have YardNo in Colm 1 of List Box which is having duplicate value.Now when I select 1st value of duplicate Item it shows same value in TextBox. Dec 9, 2012I would like to change the number 0 in the following range T4:V123 to SS. I know I can do that with inserting another column and using formula =IF(U4=0,"SS",U4) but that would change references in another sheet (Awards) and necessitate redoing a lot of formulas. Would it be possible to insert a line of code in that sheet changing 0 to SS for that particular range?

what im trying to do is e23 has a static date (food sell by dates)and if that date gets within 3 month (J2) period of todays date (L2) i want it to say "warning" if e23 is equal to or older than todays date i want it to say out of date.
L2 has =today()
J2 has the number of months in it for the warning
Change Size Of Text In Comboboxes?
May 14, 2013Before i start and to save you time looking at my profile, i am using excel 2010. So i have one worksheet with loads and loads of Combo boxes (form control) that are linked to a cell on another sheet and that sheet uses the linked cell along with a index and match formula in one to fetch data from a range for my chart. So based on the selection of the combo box option the chart changes.
My question is how do i change the size of the text in the Combo boxes (form control)? Is there any VBA to do this? .Font.Size?
If not i don't mind changing all my boxes to Combo boxes (activeX control), but i do have over 100 so what would be the best and fastest way to change all my current Combo boxes (form control) to Combo boxes (activeX control) whilst keeping everything the same so it all still functions. Maybe some more VBA? Plus i also need to be able to change the size in the new Combo boxes (activeX control) as well so telling me how would be splendid.

Change Toggle Button Text
Mar 27, 2014Is there a way to change the text on a toggle button in the code below? Basically I would like for the toggle button to begin with the word "START" on it and then when clicked changed to the word "STOP". Of course then when the user clicks on "STOP" it changes back to "START".

I was going to use the Substitute function to replace the "/" with a "-" then Mid to juggle the dd-mm-yyyy to yyyy-mm-dd but at the moment I can't even find the right syntax for the Substitute.
Got as far as:

but this just sets MtgDate1 as "=Substitute(MtgDate, " / ", " - ") ie reduces the double quotes to single ones.
How To Change Text In Saving Boxes
Mar 26, 2014I have a file that another person created and instead of traditionally saving, the only way to save file is by hitting X in top right corner and then a series of boxes pop up directing the user on what to do. I looked at macros within file and couldn't find anything really relating to the saving functions of document. This is a complex document and I'm starting to think that it isn't a macro. Is there any area in excel that allows you to adjust save settings? All I'm trying to do is change the wording in these pop up boxes but cannot find the source. Attached is screen shot of first box that pops up.
