How do I delete rows, with the maturity date exceeding the current date ("A10"). Note here that every time I open the excel sheet, the current date ("A10") would change, so I intend to write a VBA file to ensure that new rows are deleted when the dates expire.

E.g, in columns A and B are people's names and in column C are start dates. I need to remove any rows of data that contain a date in column C past todays date.

I've attached a workbook with two worksheets: "SUMMARY" and "DEVICE_PAYM". In worksheet "DEVICE_PAYM" there is a figure in cell Y200. I'm after some code to copy this value and paste it into a specific cell on the other worksheet "SUMMARY".
The cell on "SUMMARY" is dependent on the date and will vary each day. In this instance I need to paste the value into cell AK264 in "SUMMARY" but for tomorrow's figure it will need to be cell AL264
I have an Excel file that is 590 MB and Excel is telling me that since there are over 1,048,576 rows in this file (which I understand is the row limit for Excel 2010), it will only open partially, up to that row amount.
Excel suggested I open up the file in Word, but that has been unsuccessful - Word gives me error messages and won't open the file. I've also tried converting the file to .rtf and .odt, but again, that doesn't work.
Is there any way to break this excel file down? I'm assuming that whoever created it could not have made the document more than 1,048,576 rows, if that is Excel's limit, but maybe I am wrong. The document is in date order from 2008 to 2011, but only 2008 will show, and I know the later years exist. It doesn't matter to me which program this file opens with, I just need the data.
I run a daily report that contains material usage and I copy that into a workbook designed for Data Analysis. I only keep a years worth of usage in the workbook so I need part of my macro to look at todays date and delete anything that is older than a year.

Once a week I update the vacation list. I want to write a VBA code that looks at the date in Column B and deletes the entire row if it has occured. I'd like to use a value in C1 as the reference so if that cell has 06/15/08 in it then the code would delete every row where the date is prior to 06/15/08.

I have a workbook with many spreadsheet named Sheet1, Sheet2 and so on. Each sheet is filled completely upto 65536 rows. This data is being picked up from a CSV file. In this file there are sites with each site there is a assciated set of data. What happens is the data that extracts data does not differntiate between sites and when it reaches to the end of worksheet it splits the data into next sheet. So I am trying to create a macro to check each spreadsheet starting with the last sheet in the work book for example last sheet in the workbook is seven it should go to sheet6 and if there is a blank row after row 64000 it should cut all the rows and move them to sheet7. Then it should goto sheet5 and do the same and keep on doing it until it reaches sheet1.

I have an Excel file containing data about employees. Each row contains a lot of information that is relevant for a specific date range, denoted by the columns "start date" and "end date". I would like to copy each row so that I have it accessible per date that is within the date range. The only columns that would change in the copy are the date columns. Example
Initial Date :- 1st of January 2014
Frequency :- every 5 weeks
Current Date :- 9th of March 2014
Next Due date should be :-12th of March 2014 (if I worked it out correctly from my paper calendar)

I imported a large amount of data from another program. The data is in one column and is in date format (02/24/57), for example. The data is made up of my clients birthdays. I want to import those birthdays into my outlook to create reminders but the dates are years past. I need to change the birth year to the current year in order for the reminder to activate going forward. If I dont update the year, the dates import back to the date they were born. In some cases 60 years back.
I am hoping that I dont have to manually change each date before I attempt to import into outlook.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have userform with date pickers and have text boxes overlaid on these, when I select todays date from the date picker it does not display the current date in the text box (I have 8 date pickers on the userform). If I select another date then reselect the current date it works. It has occasionally worked but why.
Below is the code for populating the text box from the Date Picker.

I have two columns of dates, leave start and end dates (when people start leave i.e. annual leave). Would need to introduce column(s) to calculate how many days fell within the month including the end date and excludes weekends.
For example, if the staff on leave from 31st March to 6 April, i need to show that the number of leave taken as 1 day in March and 4 days in April.
Trying to automate the period part of the impt function
To calculate current value of loan i have the below formula below with the 3 being the current period
=IPMT(4.3%/12,3,5*12,-7000)/(4.3%/12)
What i would like to do is for the period to be self calcuating from current date and the loan start date. I can return a value in days using start date - today() and aware month function returns the month number but stuggling to find a way to work out cumulative month from the start date.
I have an excel sheet wherin there is a column that has the data where in the dates are displayed and many other columns.
I get this excel every Thursday so i want to filter this date column in such a way that it give me the data related to the date of the previous week only yet there is a catch here. When i say previous week i mean.

I created a basic excel weekly budget and would like to know how much money I have as of todays date. on the top row I have a date range from Sunday to Saturday, so it looks like this:

with the month manually put in above it.

if col b has a date then subrtract col a from b and display the # result, if col b is blank then subtract col a from location I store the @ now date - say Col ZZ Row 99? so no matter there is a count of number of days in every row in column D

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a macro which is copying data from several worksheets into one consolidation worksheet. When determining where to paste the data into the consolidation sheet, the macro includes some logic to find the last row that has data in it (using e.Range("A65536").End(xlUp).Row, where "e" is a variable holding the name of the consolidation worksheet).
Once all the data is on the consolidation worksheet, I have a second worksheet with formulas that link to the consolidation sheet. The issue I have is that the first step of my consolidation macro deletes all data on the consolidation sheet to ensure that no data is double-counted). I am deleting the data with logic that simply deletes all rows from 3 to 65536. Once these rows are deleted, Excel returns a #REF! error on my second worksheet which is linking back to this data.
Rather than deleting the rows on the consolidation sheet, I have tried using the Clear and/or ClearContents commands instead. This works (i.e., my formulas no longer error out), but results in the consolidation macro running very slowly (~15 minutes, compared to
Basically, I'm doing a recorded macro for work where I take an export and manipulate the data to show differences between sales from last year and this year. Also comparing this months projected sales to avg of last 6 months and also against last years this month.
The problem I'm running into is in automating the this month sales for mid-month exports. I can do it individually but I can't find a formula that will do it. Data is in one cell per month, so ex. 130 sales this month so far. I need to have it convert that to projected sales for total month based on what day it currently is.
