I am trying to auto-fill a matrix in sheet 1 with information from sheet 2. see the attached example. Only, in this case I put the values into sheet 1 manually. Is it possible to this without VBA? I am experimenting with an INDEX/MATCH combination, but thought I'd raise the question here in parallel.

I have a sheet named Source in my excel folder with all the matching information next to the excel sheet. The column my zip codes in Data starts on J6 to J290 and the zip codes in Source are from A2 to A2671. The information I am trying to pull from Source to Data are names and branches located in Source from B2:E2671.
What function will auto fill the columns with the correct information. If it can only be done by putting a function into each column, that is not a problem
i have many tables for many carriers with the same format, and i need to create a unified table of them, the tables look like this

so let us consider that these are the prices for X company and i have another ten tables for other 10 companies, what i need to do is to create a unified table that includes all the companies prices for all the destination depending on the Country_Code as it could be considered as a primary Key and without any duplications and to include the all the data in all the tables as some destinations and prices are not available in all the tables, so the tables contains different data, the unified table should look something like this

In 'MAIN REPORT' there are thousands of columns of data, of which the important columns are 'Factory No.' and 'Row No' and 'Quantity'.
Each factory has its own worksheet as well.
In each of those factory sheets there is a 15x65 grid for each of the 65 rows that are mentioned in MAIN REPORT.
I have created and IF statement that checks if there is any data in 'Quantity row' and if there is it enters a "1" in the that cell of the virtual Factory grid.
This is the formula:
=IF('MAIN REPORT'!I2="","",1)
However, this simply checks that data while there is only 1 quantity for each row of each house.
Sometimes there will be different quantities (for diff. products), and I need a formula/macro that checks the line no. column and then,
If there are 5 items in row 7 for example then it will place five "1"'s in the first five cells of row seven in the corresponding factory sheet.
I have attached a sample data sheet which i am working on . ITs a comparitive matrix trable with Input validation between 0&2 . I also want the table to be dynamic .If i want to increase or reduce no. of rows and clumns i should do it some how . More details are mentioned in the attached file .

I know the above doesn't do exactly what needs to be edited to include the Vlookup below

The other issue is that the cell the VLOOKUP points to first will also change due to the varying length of the report
I have problems with my userform's listboxes. I have two listboxes, and I want second listbox's values to be dependent on first listbox's values.
And even more complicated, I need second listbox's values to be dependent on values on certain matrix.
In that matrix, row headings are listbox1's values and column headings are listbox2's values. How ever there are blanc cells on that matrix aswell. So if there is a blanc cell(s) on a row which (heading) is selected at listbox1, then I don't want that column (heading) which intersects with the blanc cell to be included to my listbox2 values.
Finally I want to insert the selected values from listboxes and the value from the intersection of those listbox values (headings) on that matrix to worksheet.
I included an attachment, where you can see my point better. However, as you can see, now the listbox values are not dependent on that matrix. Otherwise it is working like I want it to work.
I want to fill two Combobox (cmb 2 and 3) dependent on what the user has chosen in a first ComboBox (cmb1).
The first combobox ist based on on the first sheet, and the second and third combobox shall be filled with values from other worksheet corresponding on combobox 1 selection.

I have defined variable as "variant", does this give me the same possiblities in terms of number size as the variable "Double"?
For a table like the one below produced for the sake of example (actual is much much bigger) I want to make it list rows that are true for a certain column for a certain variable in the matrix. So for say water terrain, which types of activity can I do i.e. swimming. Or for Offroad the activites which I can't do i.e. Run and Swim.

The error message I receive is the following: "Run-time error 13, Type mismatch"
I precise that the next step is to make the ",6," part in the vlookup formula also variable... but I guess once my current issue is solved this one will be a piece of cake.

but this will sum all the elements

I’m not even sure I can do this- but- I want to be able to have a few columns, 3 of them I want to be Item #, Item, Cost.
Is there a way to put the Item # (Number) in, then have the other 2 automatically come up?
I have a table of information on a worksheet and one of the columns determines whether the item in that row is active (there will be active and inactive items in this "Main List")
On a seperate worksheet (in the same file) I want to only display the active items in a new table (Overview) and always ensure it has no empy spaces other than at the bottom of the list, so if row 1/2 in the Main List are inactive items then the first row in the Overview List would display row 3 from the Main List.
Ideally I would rather do it in a formula than VB if possible.
I've attached a file showing what I am trying to explain, where the Overview tab currently has the data typed in it should automatically populate based on column "I" on the MainList tab.

I want to be able to have a macro that will compare one cell to the rest of the cells in a collum. I have used the COUNTIF() formula and it's getting on my nerves a bit because it seems as though everytime i sort the data, it totally messes up the formula (as in it changes the cell refernces to seemingly randomly generated numbers, but that is a different matter! lol). here is the formula, and it will be followed by the formula that is in the cell directly below it: =COUNTIF(F2:F65536, F2) and the one below it: =COUNTIF(F2:F65536, F3). Only one number needs to change, but when i fill down in excell, it wants to add one to every number, even when i click COPY cells... oh well. So i want to write this macro that will do just that. That way, it has fixed reference parameters e.g. F2:F65536, and one variable parameter e.g. F2, F3, F4 and so on. I'm not too savvy with this whole VBA stuff... the university insisted that everyone uses C++ nowadays, lol. I would like this macro to output its data into an adjacent cell ex. if F2 was compared, the data will be placed in H2.

How can you fill up a listbox on a form with data from a couple of cells.
For example you have the worksheet Colors and you have these values in the cells of column A
A1 = red
A2 = yellow
A3 = blue
Now I want red, yellow and blue to be in the Listbox.
In my worksheet I have a column with the number 1 in cell G3 ,I want to fill down the column with the number 1 as far as there are rows that have text in them. How do I tell Excel to fill down only as far down as the end of my table.
I would like to run this in a macro.
I have searched the site but cannot find an appropriate solution. I have a list of names in column a, some of the names are repeated if the name is repeated then at each occurence of the name I would like a '1' to be placed next to it in column B.
I am trying to adapt the conditional formatting formula:

I have code to create a correlation matrix (NxN, where N is the number of columns). This is done by selecting an area that is NxN, entering the function and range, then hitting ctrl +shift + enter (array formula).
However, I want to convert this to accept VBA arrays, rather than a data range, and give the output in form of an array as well.

I have this code to take an area of data and perform the SUMXMY2 formula and output the results to another sheet. My problem is that the results are being outputted in a semi-matrix and i needed them in a column so i can them perform a sort. Is this possible and can anyone shed a light on the best way to do it?
