Is there any way in which I could get Excel to login automatically to this website [URL] .... for obvious reasons I cannot divulge the username or password.

Where hyperlink is a string that is valid. ( i tested by doing a cut and paste to the browser and it works ! ) When i launch the macro, it always bring me to the login screen. But if i do a cut and paste, it will bring me direct to the content i want.
I'm wondering if it is possible to make a table where I can just enter the reference number and excel can fill up the remaining cells with data specific to the reference number from a website. What I mean is that I would like to put in company registration number and hopefully it will be able to pull in other data from companies house website about the company.
I am creating a login system for two users on a excel worksheet. I have the two users on a drop-down list, Maria and Andrew, which then requires a password entry. This is linked onto a data validation to make sure that the password matches the data table.
After, I then click on a macro, which, when successful, takes me from sheet 1 to sheet 2.
My problem is that I need to have it so that Maria is taken from Sheet 1 to Sheet 2, and Andrew from Sheet 1 to Sheet 3.
I have a workbook that has a list of different depts. I need to design a way to enter a login of sorts to the excel and allow the user of that department to edit their entries only and lock the rest of the entries for the rest of the departments and do not show them in the result list after the user logs in. I have code, attached to the cmdSubmit1 button on my UserForm. The purpose is to allow access to a veryhidden Worksheet "ADMIN".
The code 'works' if I enter in both the correct UserName and Password (ie: the code completes & Admin sheet opens up).
The code 'works' if I enter in the correct UserName and the wrong password (ie: code completes it's run, my msg pops up to say there is wrong input, unloads the form & sheet ADMIN stays veryhidden).
However, if I enter the wrong username (with either right or wrong password) the code breaks and I get a debug error. I know my code is obviously wrong/missing something etc - but I can't work it out! The line of code highlighted on the break, is between the *** below

I would like to search for a keyword or a phrase in a website using excel.
Generally we copy the keyword or a phrase and paste it in google and go for search. but i wanted to do this using excel as i have to search same pharse in multiple websites.
I have been trying for some time to be able to download a file from what I believe to be a FTP site. There are three user input fields which I have been able to identify there names. After these fields are complete there is a button to push which I have also identified it's name.
Once the process of pushing this button is done, an unspecified amount of time must occur for data to be gathered and the option of Open, Save, or Canel appear in a Download window. I would then need to Save and Overwrite an existing file.
No Login or Password is required.
I have been able to automate the open of I.E. and input to the three select fields as well as the necessary button push.
However, I am unable to identify how to automatically save the file into a specified location, with overwrite privileges enabled. Below is my progress

Can VBA be used to extract a table from a website and output it on an excel sheet?
Basically we have to log in to a website and type data to our spreadsheet which is a bit tedious from the table on the website.
I'm guessing this can be done in some way but us having to enter username/password on website first to get to page we want will probably cause an issue would it?
In the past, elements were more or less fixed and was able to use my very well known method QueryTables under Workbooks.open

If a code can be written which take value form column A of spreadsheet and paste in webpage like shown in above image and hit search button. Next webpage will be loaded with number of results like shown in below. Take the number of results and paste in column B of spreadsheet.

I am quite new to the excel vba. I am trying to create a login screen
So whenever i open my excel sheet, the first thing should happen is that there should be a login screen and ot should ask for password and id. Once you provide the login id and password, you would proceed to the next screen.
I have an excel file where different people have to make their comments. So far I have sent out the files on email and they sent it back and then copied their comments to the original file, but from now on I would like to share the file and let them to write in their comments.
In order to make it professional I would like the file to work as following (lets suppose that I am Mr.X and I have to write my comments in row 2,6 and 9):
1. When I (Mr.X) open the excel file, there is a pop up message box with a drop down list saying: "Please select your name:"
2. In the drop down list I select my name (Mr.X) and I press OK.
3. Then I get logged in the file and I will see rows 2,6 and 9 only.
4. After making my comments I save the file and log out.
As for the example lets assume that there are 3 people who are making the comments. Mr.X /rows 2,6 and 9/, Mr.Y /rows 1,3 and 8/ and Mr.Z /rows 4,5 and 7/
