If Statement Is Showing Text Value "n/a"

I have been trying to write the if statement for four conditions. It works well for first three but does not return text value "N/A" for fourth. See example below.
=IF(S2=M2,$M$1,IF(S2=N2,$N$1,IF(S2=O2,$O$1,IF(S2=0,N/A))))

I have a worksheet with a range of dates in column E. What I would like is a formula that states If any of those dates is less than or equal to 10 (days) from today and column H text is not "Yes" then show text "Email outstanding Actions" else show nothing?

I am trying to link a form to a spreadsheet that will be used as an import into Access. When I tried to create the form however, all my links are showing as Text and not the information that is in the linked cells. How do I get rid of this?
I am trying to set up some combofields on the form to make entry easier.

not sure if an "IF" staement is appropriate?
I have 3 columns containing data:
column A has text in it,
example: A2="red", A3="green", A4="blue"
column B has 3 letter month in it and they could have repeats
example: B2="Jan", B3="Feb", B4="Jan"
C2="Jan"
in D2 list anything column A that matches C2
example: D2="red, blue"

I am using Excel 2007.
In cells A1 and B1 I have numerical values, e.g. 50 and 12 respectively. Cell C1 calculates the product A1*B1 (= 600). In another cell, say D1, I want to display a statement like “50 x 12 = 600” with the 50, 12, and 600 taken directly from cells A1, B1 and C1, without re-entering them. If I change the 50 to another value, say 70, then I want D1 to read “70 x 12 = 840”

I need a statement to look at how many words are in a cell. If there is 4, to return "Stem" to another column, if it's the 5th word or higher then to return the last word in the string.
For Example
Column A.......................................................... .Column B
SOME-TEXT-GOES-HERE....................................../...STEM

I have tried but failed miserably! I though of using a lookup statement but due to the number of variations it would be quite time consuming.

ie
If(color of A2=RED,1,2)
So if Apple text was colored red the result woud be 1
If the Apple text was black the result would be 2

I have 2 columns of figures. One column has a defined name of 'Estimated Value' and the other column 'Actual Value'
My IF statement should simply read "=If(Estimate>Actual,Text color RED, Text Color Black)
My attempts at finding the code for the True/False statements are legion and 'Conditional Formatting' does not appear to work

Conditional formatting. I have been tasked with creating a simple game for a group training project.
The game consists of users filling in the answers to questions (simple one word text answers). My boss wants to have a master sheet with the correct answers, and a subsequent sheet that will then compare the employee's answer to the master sheet. If the employee's answer is correct, then the output sheet simply displays the correct answer, however, if the employee's answer is wrong, he would like the output to display the correct answer and highlight the cell.
Is there a way to have the output sheet highlight a cell only when the answer on the employee sheet is different from the master sheet? I was thinking along the lines of using an if statement to see if the values of the employee sheet differ from the master sheet, but I do not know how I would then use that result to highlight the cells in the output sheet.

I have been given a huge membership list. The field for the CITY also as the two letter state abbreviation (e.g., "Fremont, CA" instead of just "Fremont".). I want to be able to have the "CA" or "WA" or "NV" (etc) from the city field appear in a new STATE field. I successfully use the below statement to do this with the "CA" but I want a statement that will search for multiple strings (the other states).
Here is what works now: =IF(FIND(" CA",F2),"CA"). But I want to be able to add other state abbreviations to this.

I'm having a bit of trouble with a macro designed to read the length text in a cell and if it = a certain length then perform an action (in this case Text to column)

The text length I want it to perform the action on is highlighted with "<<" if the length of text does not meet the required number then I want the statement to skip and move onto the next one.
I have the text to column code already done with relative references however the long text string I want the statement activated on is not always present which means that the pattern (0,3) is not always consistent.

Column A consists of cells with a variety of five digit numbers. My formula needs to return a text value if numbers are present in column A, this is what I tried:

I am trying to compare to values that a user inputs in a user form. It's ok if they are not the same I just want the user to know it. I am only including the part where the if statement is failing:

I have VerUnBal as Long and defined as:

I can provide more info as necessary. There are two problems 1) the message box is appearing whether the numbers are equal or not, and 2) clicking No in the message box does not cause the Sub to exit.

formula to find specific text from statement.
I manage to use formula find for 1 text in 1 statement, but in confuse how to get another text found if i have "8 text" to find. Generally, there will only be "1 text" for each statement.
Maybe in 1 statement there have only "IC" or "Staff Tagging" or Name" or "Product" or etc till 8.

Trying to write function statement that does the following:

I want to highlight a cell if the text displayed from an IF formula is equal to the cell content.
CELLS BK10:BN10 are merged and have entered into them the following text "SELL"
Cells BJ20:BP20 are merged and contain the following formula which currently results in the cell displaying "SELL"
=IF(BM22<=-0.08,"SELL", IF(AND(BM22>-0.08,BM22 < -0.03),"NO INDICATION", IF(BM22>=-0.03,"HOLD")))
Cell BM22 is a percentage calculation of the differences between two different days of volume for this stock and that formula is: =(BH22/BH25)-1 Cell BM22 currently is calculating the result to be -65.65%
When I set up a CLASSIC Conditional Formatting using a formula (="If($BJ$20=""SELL""") to check the if the text in cells BK10 match the text displayed in cell BJ20 - I get no error messages and no formatting?
I am using Mac Office Excel 2011. I feel like I have tried everything including changing the Number selection type of the cells to TEXT. Nothing seems to works.

I am trying to write a formula that will return a statement if a certain month is contained in the text within another cell. Formula is =IF(ISERROR(SEARCH("Dec",Assumptions!B2)),"Ensure Journal is Non Reversing","")
Cell B2 contains a date in the format of Dec 08, so if this date contains Dec, then return "Ensure Journal is Non Reversing", if it doesn't then leave the cell blank.
At the moment it is putting in the first test for every month I select and not changing to blank.

Excel 2010, I have the following list (showing part of it):
Name
T-Shirt Sizes
Nathan
S
[Code]....
The aim of the list is to see what Sizes each and every person needs and then count how many T-Shirts are required for that particular size. The list is over a 100 entries long so counting it manually isn't really an option as it's time consuming as well as errors might arise.
Thus, I've been trying to use the IF statement with the following logic but to as no avail
IF Size in Column is XS
Add 1 to a particular Cell
IF Size in Colum is S
Add 1 to a particular Different Cell
and so on for the other sizes...kind of like a counter for a for-do-loop.

I am currently using an Intersect statement in a worksheet module to perform two things:
1. Insert a time stamp into row 2 when row 1 has a price inserted
2.To clear that time stamp if the price is deleted at some later date.
My problem is with the time stamp value being deleted by the user.
If I try to clear the price (now that the time cell =empty) I get a Runtime error 91 - Object Variable or With block variable not set.
I would like to convert this code to a select case statement but I'm not sure how to do this in this situation. Would error coding be appropriate in this instance?

I am attempting to use a previously Set variable as part of the next Set statement, pretty unsuccessfully at present.
My purpose is trying to look up

tb_SelJobID.Value
from a userform in Col Z then look across the row to Cols D,I,N,S & W (different types of work) to see if

matches the year selected then insert a formula in the row to the left. Then loop down to the FinalRow.
Currently my Set Found1 statement does not recognise my Found10 value. I know it will be my syntax as it always is. I have cut down the following code to display where the problem areas are, Found1 thru 5.

I have created a very long switch statement, which is too long to be placed in one row in VBA. I have attempted to put a space and underscore at the end of one line and continue the statement on the row below by placing a comma at the start of the second line. VBA will accept my efforts, but when I run the statement in the immediate window, the following error appears.
"Invalid procedure call or argument"
I understand that there are certain rules where I can split a switch statement onto two lines, yet I do not know what they may be.

I am looking to have one formula containing two If Statements that minus.

So the result of If Statement 1 minus the result of If Statement 2.
What I am seeing at the moment in the cell is FALSE and what I want to see is the sum.

If A1 shows 10:00am and A2 shows 4:00pm, then A3 calculates the total number of hours: =(A2-A1)*24
But if A1 shows "Off," then A3 shows 0: =IF(A1="Off",0,(A2-A1)*24)
Now, if I want to change "(A2-A1)*24" to another if-statement, how do I do this? I can always set up a hidden cell (A4) that contains the results of the first if-statement, and then say: =IF(A1="Off",0,A4). But can I do this without going through all the trouble of setting up hidden cells?

Each row represents a call. If a call in column A equals "CW" and it has the highest duration (H:MM:SS) value in column B, then provide me the date (MM/DD/YYYY) for that call that is stated in column C.
i.e.

I have a problem with a formula inserted with control+shift+enter
The formula is
MEAN(IF(' VALIDATION'!$G$2:$G$59999=D30;'VALIDATION'!$E$2:$E$59999))
In the Validation sheet I have the column G with values 0 and 1, and another column E with numeric values.
Changing the value of cell D30, the formula will calculate the mean of the values in column E that have a value equal to D30 in column G.
The problem is that this function works when D30=1 and not when d30=0, in this case the formula returns N/D.
I have tried using also text values instead of 1 and the formula works . The problem is only when D30 is 0
