I have one drop down list in cell A1 and another in cell C1 with the same data. When I select something in A1 I want it to change in C1 also and the other way around. Is this actually possible?

Im not very good at VBA and I accomplished this once before using the =INDIRECT function. But for some reason it is not working now.

I have done a validation for the county which allows me to pick a county from a drop down list which works fine.I would like to create a drop down list for the districts aswell such that when i select i.e southyorkshire from the counties dropdown list,the districts drop down list will bring only districts in southyorkshire,excluding all the other districsts.hopefully i'll like the same to apply to all other counties.
I have a drop-down menu which selects the type of product my company sells. On another sheet I have a 2-column table which lists product type (redundant with the drop-down) with its corresponding accounting code. I want to be able to select from the drop-down menu the product in question and have Excel lookup the accounting code associated with that product and display it in a column next to the drop-down. For example, on Sheet A, I select from the drop-down Frogger. Excel then looks at the table where I list out all products (Frogger, Tetris, etc) with their corresponding accounting code (1,2,3 etc) and then in the column to the right of the drop-down, it displays the corresponding accounting code.

What I have is a column called Country and once called State on the first worksheet on the second I need to do the calculations that will allow user to select Country and the when they click on the State it shows only the related States based on the Country which are loaded on the second worksheet.

I have an excel that has dropdown column from form control, in F4 there is a formula of vlookup that take the range from A2 to B20 in consideration but the reference cell that is given to vlookup formula to pick corresponding value is E4 which is also the reference cell of dropdown box and therefore its not showing any name rather than a value, problem with the formula is that when we select any name from dropdown it does not respond to any value in F4 despite changing values in E4.
I am using these setting for the first time.

I have 4 sheets from sheet1 to sheet3, I typed code date and quantity which the code has 5 columns. In sheet 4 I have defined dropdown in I2 Cell(yellow fill) which has all code fromsheet1 to sheet3. So my purpose is that in sheet 4 I want to select code in I2 cell then it will appear in code column date and quantity automatically for the last cell of date and quantity. Note: I'm looking only the last cells when I select the code in dropdown.

Within the game there are a range of spawned resources that appear for only a short time before being unobtainable these resources have specific types that is shared between multiple spawns of the resource but each resource spawn has a unique name.
My first worksheet lists all the resources and their various qualities and the later worksheets are meant to allow me to choose from a list resources matching the requirements of the item I'm looking to craft. The example i have shown in the second picture requires Tatooinian Fiberplast and Lokian Wild Wheat to craft so in the Chosen Resource column I would like to have a drop down list allowing me to select the named resource type i would like to use - for Tatooinian Fiberplast the only thing on the list should be Omnitwixi and for the Wild Wheat it should show Fizi and Krad

Is there a way to create a drop down list from a comma delimited list in a single cell? For example, col A is Name & Col B is the delimited list - Blue,Red,Green (list can be different for each name). Would like a drop down list in col C that allows you to pick one of the values from Col B.

I have 3 related dropdown lists that work perfectly, if you enter data from left to right. But, if you click in the cell containing the second list, which is based on the first list, of which nothing has been selected, you can just type any value in the cell. Is there a way to prevent this, or at least validate that what is entered is a value in the list.

I have additional sheets that are used as daily sign-ins encompassing a two week pay period for AM, MID and PM shifts. I've got all the budget subcategories in separate dynamic named lists each headed by the main budget name. I want to be able to select the main budget name e.g. marketing or sales etc and then see, in the next column over, only the appropriate subcategories to select from e.g pick the appropriate dynamic list (I've used dynamic lists so I have some flexibility to add new categories at a leter date).

Currently I have a database in an Excel template. After a user creates a new workbook from the template, a macro button on sheet 1 brings up a window (a userform) to allow selection of items from the database sheet. The item selected is entered on sheet 1 by means of VLookup. That works fine, but to edit the database correctly it is necessary to open the template itself. This is not a user-friendly method.
I figure the best way to solve this dilemma is to separate the template from the database. That is, make the database sheet into a workbook. This I've done. Here's the problem: What code is there that links the list box in the userform (of the template) with the closed database workbook? Is it even possible? If a file path type code is required, it may work on my computer, but when I use my template and database on another computer, the code doesn't work.
Another problem, and similar is this: I'd like to be able to have a macro button that opens the database from the new workbook (which was created from the template) in order to edit the database. If having a template seems to be my problem, I must have it since each workbook created from it is a different project.

e1:e100 should get the data from c1
So I use in e1:e100
=IF(a$1=d1,c$1,0)

etc ...
I can use it only for 1 date. I want to choose date from my dropdown list put money and then choose another date and put money.
I was wondering if there is a way to add to a list by a drop down selection.
If there isn't is there a way to do this task easier than copying and pasting?

I am trying to make a spreadsheet where I use a drop down menu for several of my vendors. When I select the Vendor's name from the drop down menu (for example in A1), I would like A2 to display that vendor's phone number. But when I switch vendor name from drop down list in A1, A2 would need to reflect the new vendor's contact info.

I have been working on it for 2 days now, I somehow got it but it doesnt seem foolproof; as i often get error message after running it a few times.
Basically, all I need is to come up with a unique password for each name for listed in the "Requester". Whenever I click on it, it will prompt me to enter password.Different names requires different password, otherwise it will return as a blank cell.
What are the steps how to edit data validation if possible.

when i change the dropdown list in erik it should be changed also in david and The opposite
I have a data validation list that has approx 40 items.When I select the cell with the drop down list - only 10 or so items appear . I then have to use the scroll bar on the side to look further in the list. Is there a way that more than 10 or so ( possibly all ) items appear in the drop down box when the cell is selected - or is there a way that one can scroll down using the mouse wheel. ( I have to use the scroll bar at the moment ).
