Lookup Code Prefix From Another Page And Autofill With Alphanumeric Sequence

I'm looking to populate a series of sequential codes based on a code prefix.
Sheet 1: Master Code list
Column A = Lookup Value
Column B = Code Prefix
Sheet 2 - Results page
Column A - list of lookup values - sorted in value order - The number of occurances varies for each value
Column B - Results list
I want to populate Column B in the second sheet with a sequential code list for each different value in column A. So for the first value it would have the prefix then proceed numerically (Prefix0001, Prefix0002, Prefix0003...) then for the next value its prefix in sequence (2ndPrefix0001, 2ndPrefix0002, 2ndPrefix003...), etc
I'm wondering if there is a way to do this all in one step or else if there is a way way to number each occurance of the lookup value in the second page, in which case the code can be concatenated easily by a lookup of the code.
I suppose on the back of this there is another query - is there a way to concatenate a number where the format is 000# where the concatenated value will retain the leading zeros? I've been trying and it is stripping them out.
I want to create a 4 character alphanumeric sequence. The sequence is to be like this: a1a1-z10z10. If it's a number, increment 1 until you reach 10, then move to the next column, if it's a letter, increment a until z, then move to the next column. Excel's autofill feature doesn't seem to work well for me due to the letters involved, so if someone has a macro handy that would be great.
I am creating a workbook that easily allows me to keep track of items and costs. So on one page I have a list of items in one Coloumn - column A eg apples, oranges, banana etc.
On the cell next to them (Column B) are their prices. This page is purely used to list items and costs.
On page 2 - is the easy to fill list page. Theres a drop down list in each cell in column A listing the items on page 1. I have set this up already.
But i need the associated price to appear in coloumn B austomatically.
So when i select apples in column A - their price automatically appears in next to it.
Basically I'm trying to look up a series of numbers against a separate row of numbers and look for a match regardless or number order.
For example
If you look at the above picture I'm trying to do a query of some sort that will look up the numbers in A8:G8 in then search each row in the above table ie look for the numbers in B1:J1, B2:J2,B3:J3 etc I need to be able to search each row and look for the sequence of numbers regardless of order, if there is or inst a match for all numbers it should look at the next row and so on (maybe multiple matches). If there is a match then it should display the Name located in column "A" into cell G8. In this example to Jarrad row contains the numbers located in A8:G8. If there is no match it should display "None".
I'm trying to find any easy way to do this as I have over 500 rows I'm trying to query. The number's in A8:G8 in this example could also be more or less, ie here I have included 6 numbers but this could be 3 or 9 etc.
I have a report that I use and right now I have a command button that prints the report x2. What I would like to do is to have it print one in color and one in grayscale. I could do this I think with two different buttons, but I would like to utilize just one. I tried creating a macro but it did not pick up the fact that I changed the properties to black and white.
I'm currently creating a formula to look up the date based on the alphanumeric codes, my problem is if it crosses the year, say 2011 & 2012, the lookup will be distorted because codes for jan. 1 2011 & jan. 1 2012 is the same. Our alpha numeric code is A01= Jan. 1.
to elaborate further:
wanted to get the ageing days between todays date and item manufactured date: today: May 30 2012
when the administrator enters the manufacturing date code of "A01" I have a look up of the code that equates A01=Jan 1. which will compute the difference of May 30 2012-Jan. 1 2012 and give me the Age date of 150. Now, if I enter H1, I wanted to have it look up at the 2011 not 2012 of Aug. 1; is there a look up formula that looks up the date already past (current date below), not the future date of under the same database?
I have 100s of urls with prefix as the left column. I need to rename them to the right column format. UDC 01_001 will take number Batch 01_385, UDC 01_002 will use Batch 01_386 and so on.
I cant figure out how to do this in one quick macro instead of replace function.
Step 1. In Col E a list of amounts will be pasted on a daily basis.
Step2. I need a macro that will look at the last code in Col F and apply the next sequence so $36,543.00 will have OPS003, since i might paste more than one amount in Col E i would like the macro to do the same thing also in Col F. I have a formula in G which will tell me what amounts are outstanding and which have cleared.
I have a column containing ranges of apha-numeric codes that I wish to expand into an adjacent column as the following example:
AL 0-4 AL 0
E 4 AL 1
H 16-23 AL 2
[Code] .....
I would like the VB to distinguish and expand the different range permutations from the first column, leaving single codes intact and separating comma separated codes as shown. If it makes it easier, I manually split out the comma separated codes onto separate rows.
It has been a while since I worked with VB and I am struggling with some simple code.
I have an Excel sheet that I am using to track client information on, the client name starts on A3 and the list of clients we are tracking will vary from week to week.
I have values in B3:D3 that I need to auto fill based on the values that I have in column A. For example, if column A goes to row 33 then I want to auto fill B3:D3 down to row 33.
The code that I have now works as band aid, but I need something more dynamic.

I am using a Do While loop to find an empty column in row 6 incremented by 5 based on LFound. The starting value of LColumn is 9 and is increased based on and IsEmpty condition.

I need to automatically populate a column with an alphanumeric MFR0001 to MFR9999 and am currently using the formula below to add 1 to the start point (A1)...
A1=MFR0001 Formula in A2 =LEFT(C1,3)&(RIGHT(C1,4)+1)
This works perfectly if I start at MFR1000, but breaks and drops the 000 if I use it on the number I need to start with (MFR0001).
Just a niggling problem, I've got lstRow as a Long and it contains the value of the last row offset by (1, 0). The problem is i'm trying to add it into a range
Like that.. Except i've tried a million different combinations of " and & in different places to try and get it to compile. It refuses too. It always gives the error "Expected list seperator or )" I know I could just do it individually from C to K but I'd like to learn how to do it this way as well.
I have an items list on page 2. On page 1 I want to create a drop down menu in C2 that references the list on page 2. Then when I choose an item, I want the additional information in cells D2 and E2 to come in automatically. The list on page 2 will be expanding daily, and when I expand it I can simply insert a new row so I correctly alphabatize it instead of constantly having to resort it.
With that said.... 1. How do you put in the drop down box that references information on a different sheet?
2. What is the best way to reference the information in my ever expanding situation: Index/Match, Vlookup, Lookup, or something I havent mentioned?
My table is the equation of time (EoT) (sundialist's jargon). It shows each day of the year if the sun is running fast or slow according to the clock. I need to make (on another page of that file) where I input the month and date. It will then till me the time it is fast or slow
When I view a sheet under Page Break Preview, it shows the Page numbers in the centre of the Page. While I am aware that it would not print the page number I was wondering if there is an option to remove/hide the page numbers.
I have created the bulk of the worksheet, and I am now on the summary page. My challenge for the summary is looking up when someone's name appears in Column A on any of the sheets, then summing the hours per week that the person worked.
The main sheets are to track hours, and billable dollars per project, but the summary is to track total hours per team member per week to make sure staff is being full utilized.
In the examples I have attached Aaron's summary should have 13 hrs per week listed. I do not have the foggiest clue how to do a lookup on a name when the position and sheet is random, and return a value summed for each week.
On the summary sheet I did copy rows 1&2 so at least the summary columns match the sheets.
Example 1 is a sample of the detail on 1 of the 5 sheets that in this example could contain Aaron's name in any random place in column A. Example 2 is my hope for the summary page, that will sum those random hours per week matching the headers on the Detailed sheets.
I need to build an Excel application that allows a user to select and download files from a website. The files change daily. Is there a way in VBA to obtain the current list of files that are available for downloading?
I have a task that pulls out information from the website. I need to write a vba code to find the last row. Since the no of rows are always not the same. I would need the excel masters help to solve it. Just a small piece of guidance would also help me.
In my work sheet I need to find the word " Function Name: Cleaning" if this is there then I should find the occurence of the word " name". If I find that then the code should copy the values in the column after name till it sees a space ( means no value). Should copy till that and paste that in another work sheet.
However, when this is executed it returns the following error:

Clearly, I'm doing something wrong. I wondered if it had anything to do with the fact that the webpage I'm trying to open is a pdf and not html or similar, but this doesn't appear to be the issue.
Im using information from oracle to do applications on excel. As im nothing related to IT department and I'm working on a BIG company, i did it by myself, i dont have support.
What i did is to investigate about oracleas (portal), then from my excel application i create the URL of the search i need, query it and paste on the document the table i need. I did this from months and worked great.
But now portal have been upgraded and need to do login before use it. I have some amateur knowledge about some HTML, PHP, CSS but i dont get how to fill the username and password for this new portal.

The issue I am having is that the code fails if there is ever a "sheet2" left open. I need it to always target the sheet Data5m.
What seems to happen is the sheet targets the first available sheet. This book only consists of 1 sheet, but generates other sheets later, sometimes extra sheets are left open.

I am looking to read the source code for a website that keeps the stats for a hockey league in Sweden
For other sites i can use the code below and it works fine, but the site i am using to get the Sweden stats seem to keep the data in some type of a Java app (sorry still somewhat of a newbie) and doesn't work the same as the others
when i veiw the source code just by right clicking the page all the data i want shows up. When i try to use my code it doesn't get the stuff i want.
I have tried both objDoc.body.innerHTML and objDoc.body.outerHTML and i get different results but not the same as right clicking on the page and viewing the source, is there another command that i can use to get it all?
