I am working on MS-Query in Excel.
Selecting few datetime columns by using ms query but it returns that columns data in wrong format.
And CONVERT function is also not working in ms-query.
Below is the MS-Query:

I import data from web forms via Excel Web Query which has dates in the US format. I would like to convert them to the uk format. Unfortunately, unlike other data import functions in excel, web query doesn't seem to have an option to choose that. Also after asking the forum via this post, I figured that I cannot use a formula to do this, and need a macro. I recorded a macro which exports text to columns where I choose MDY function to convert the date.
However, the macro doesn't convert the bottom part of the blank cell for some reason. The macro did not work in either modified or untouched versions. When I actuallly do it through excel buttons, it works.

And it just works for the first 2 values c1, c2 and doesn't fit for the others.
The case is i have more than one event at the same video and i need to confirm that no event was taken unless it is between start and end.

Been working on this issue for the last couple of days with no luck. I have a column of data that is a data and time stamp, for any date or time like below. This is an ever growing list as users continue to populate the data.

On a separate sheet I have a list of times by 15 minute increments starting at midnight until 11:59PM like below.

I'm trying to count how often a time stamp occurred between two 15 minute increments. ventually I'll be plotting this data on a graph to show where most occurrences happen.
I am trying to make a macro that will query a column J4 for a date, if the date is found say "Wednesday, July 4, 2012" (J8) get the text from Column K8 "Independence Day" and insert the text in Cell (H1).
The Macro Prints sign in sheets with the date in H2, it only prints Monday through friday. Then skips the weekend and the next date will start the following Monday.
The Federal Holiday schedule is in column range J (Date) and K (Holiday)

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have designed a spreadsheet and i want a seperate worksheet (sheet3 for arguments sake) to retrieve customer data from worksheet 2 - The data I required is the customer data currently contained on columns A - H and there are around 50 rows. (A2 - I51). I want the seperate sheet to identify entries that have today's date in column I and then list them in Worksheet 3.
Im having difficulties with the syntax for retrieving the data from a seperate worksheet. There may be several entries for the same date and I want to the seperate sheet to report all customer data in worksheet 3? Also, if the date falls on a weekend I would like to retrieve any data for the weekend on the Monday so all cases can be reviewed.

look at the attached file - it was a CSV file. i want to convert the column of dates to say Mar 14 2009 type date. but it only converts some of them.
note some are on the left and some on the right.
i have a column
"Received On" contains the datetime of a mail received , it is in BST, sometimes it should be in GMT depends on the date or year, i'm not sure.
So what my query is, in another column, i have to check if the datetime in "Received On' is in BST, convert this datetime to GMT, otherwise if this time is in GMT, i don't need to add anything just copy that datetime alone.
eg: ie in ColumnA is the Datetime value
if ColumnA=BST then
ColumnB=ColumnA+1/24 (ie convert BST to GMT)
else if ColumnA=GMT then
ColumnB=ColumnA (ie not need to change, becz already columnA is in GMT)

Is there anyway to do this using my existing macro with some changes?
My relevant part of the macro looks like this.

I am trying to date and time stamp a certain cell. This cell is going to be compared to another cell in another sheet (also date and time) so that I can track deadlines being met.
I am using the following code to stamp the cell:

Even with the number format, the cell is not stamped as a number. As a result I get #value errors when I take the difference between the stamped cell and the cell with the preset deadlines.
Extract data with differing date formats that I need to convert to something consistent that I can format as a date.

I have used this formula to extract the date portion, but I can't get this to then format as date. How do I convert this to the julian date, so I can then apply a date format?

(The day portion of this date always has a leading zero).

I have an 8 character number that I am trying to segment and change into a date.
The current format is: YYYYMMDD, for example 20071003 (today's date)
I am would like to change it to read 10/03/2007 or another easily identifiable date format.
I am using a formula to calculate the last day of the month, using any date of the month in a worksheet in cell A13, this cell is also linked to another worksheet to pick up a date, using the ISBLANK function to prevent a dummy date entry appearing if the field in the linked ASHBY RISE worksheet is blank

The last day of the month function is shown below
=DATE(YEAR(A13),MONTH(A13)+1,0)
This works fine if there is a date in A13, but returns a #VALUE! error if cell A13 is blank. I have tried using the ISBLANK function, but I am still getting the #VALUE! error. Of course I may have the sysntax incorrect.
