New Book Macro Creator No Longer Working

I have a macro that used to create a new book for each of the worksheets in a workbook that would name them the same as the worksheet.

Since our company upgraded to Windows 7 the macro, more often than not, fails to work.

The code for the macro is

VBA No Longer Working - Filters / Arrays / Lookups

I can't attach the file as it is too big for the site. The file has a front sheet called "Viewer". The filters at the top used to work. They would reduce the results in the table underneath. For some reason this is no longer working.

It uses the lookup tables on the Lookup tab but then uses arrays I think.

Selection Change No Longer Working Correctly

This vba code is supposed to move the cursor to the Cacluate1 command button when the user clicked on cell H6.

The only changes that I have made is a change to a private sub worksheet_change(ByVal TArget as Range). Would these changes have anything to do with this no longer working?

Code Stopped Working - Can No Longer Copy And Save Worksheet

I have been working on this application for the past couple weeks and I have this module of code that copy's a worksheet into a new workbook and changes everything into values. However I have added buttons onto this sheet and after running the code again it froze the program, in which I had to manually end. It gave an error afterwards however I don't remember what it said. Now everything I try to run or step through it, nothing happens. And I have turned Events and ScreenUpdating on.

I would also like to note that it won't allow me to perform actions like unhide sheets or unprotect them. The code has not been changed either so what has happened to disable all functionality.

Call Macro In Book Two From Book One

i have done a search on this topic and found many similar answers to many similar questions. All specify using Application.Run "workbookname.xls!macroname".

In my code, the filename has an assigned value as the master code goes out to many secondary files - the user selects the particular one they want at the start of the macro. The variable assigned is called "UpdateKAMsFile".

how do i get the macro called KAMsRandomColour to run in the workbook designated by UpdateKAMsFile?

Macro To Highlight Data Inside Other Data Or Move From Book To Book

so to start off im not able to attach things due to security reasons, what i need is either 1 of 2 macros. if its possible, both are related. one possible is as follows: i need it to go through a certain column (say I for example) and look at the information in it, this information can vary from peoples names along with dates and other stuff, i want it to look through these and if anything has a date today and prior i need the cell to be highlighted. problem is sometimes it might have 2 dates, or no dates. it should have todays date, their name, other information, and future date of something. but not everyone does, this is the macro i dont think that can exists.

2nd macro possibility the other macro uses the first sheet, AFTER been highlighted, normally by hand, and takes it to another workbook and puts in in certain spots. so the first sheet has names of everyone in column K. what i need is it to look at column I and if its highlighted take entire row to other book, and put into sheet under the person name in their tab. the second book has a tab for each person (at this time 18 tabs) which can fluxuate, and each tab is the persons first and last name, without spaces. since when i put sums on main page it didnt want to work with the spaces i had to omit them. again im not sure this is possible.

Shopping List Creator

I have created an excel sheet for recipes that my wife and I cook regularly, just the ingredients. I have half achieved my aim to make this produce a shopping list for meals we choose for the week. I say half achieved as each item is listed separately even if there are multiple identical items. For example, the shopping list may call for 2 chicken breasts for Mondays meal, and 2 chicken breasts for Thursdays meal, but what I really want is for it to create a more streamlined list which would just have 4 chicken breasts.

I realise that this is an unsual request, but if anybody can help me out I'd appreciate it. If it would be useful to attach my work in progress, I will do.

How To Add VLookup To Longer Macro

how to add a vlookup to a longer macro I'm working on but I keep running into a variety of errors. I ended up creating a new Sub () to test out a very simple vlookup macro in the hopes of figuring out what's going on.

I went to this website VLOOKUP In VBA and copied exactly a sample code they provided there (only thing I changed was substituting in my own lookup value and range), but I'm still getting an "object required" error. Is there something wrong with the provided code, or do I have a setting off on my computer? I've tried to use vlookup in a macro several different ways but I keep getting assorted errors (including object required)

Macro With Delete Row - No Longer Runs

This macro ran fine until I started using Offset on ranges to have them extend. The macro replaces "L" with blanks but does not go on to delete the rows. The name "Type" refers to =Offset(Mem05!$A$2,0,0, CountA(Mem05!$A$2:$A$270),10)

Macro No Longer Works - Getting Compile Error?

I created three macros to work with reporting for my company.

One sorts a field, another deletes unwanted columns, and the third double checks columns for answers--I work for a telecom polling firm.

It was working last week on my computer, and it still works on another computer at the office. However, I keep getting an error message when I try to run it.

The message is "Compile Error: Expected Function or Variable". The code is below, and bolded where it breaks down.

What could be the rationale for the sudden breakdown? I was testing it on a file that I have tested with before without issue. I also tried a second file, and even restarted my computer. I am currently trying to write a fourth macro for counting responses and giving percentages, so while I don't need to have the perfectly cleaned data to do so it would be nice to have.

Excel Macro No Longer Function After XP To Win 7 Upgrade

I was using some Excel Macros as shortcuts to go to and log into some common web sites I use everyday. After my company upgraded us from XP to windows 7 the macros stop in the middle on a line of code(in bold) and I am not sure why. Do I need a pause or delay to give it time?

Excel 2007 :: Macro Buttons No Longer Linked?

I have a workbook created in Excel2003 as an xls with a nuumber of buttons to call macros. I converted it to an xlsm in Excel2007 and now get the message "((#Ref.xls could not be found..." whenever I click any of the macro buttons. Event code in the individual worksheets works fine.

For example if I have “Colours” typed in cell A1 in Worksheet 1 and there is a list on Worksheet 2:

Move All Worksheets From Book B Behind All Sheets In Book A?

I made the following code to merge 2 workbooks together.

The code is to be executed when the user has Workbook A opened. (All sheets in workbook KPISWD are supposed to be moved after all worksheets in workbook KPICustomers).

I keep getting a debug error on the code that is supposed to do the actual move and loop until it is finished with all of the sheets in Workbook B.

Running Macro On All Worksheets In A Book

As it takes about 20 secs to run on each sheet, and I don't want to click from sheet to sheet, how can I make it run on every sheet in the book? And no, they aren't named sequentially, either alphabetically or numerically.

Copying Sheets Into A New Book Macro

I'm having an issue with a macro that copies sheets from one workbook into a new workbook. The issue is it doesn't copy all the sheets. It only copies the first 10 and doesn't capture the the remaining 15. I've checked the range of the translation table and the issue doesn't appear to be there.

I would like to know if there is a way to copy a spreadsheet and paste it into a new tab on another spreadsheet. We currently download 2 lots of spreadsheets from SAP and would like to create another spreadsheet to act as a 'central' preadsheet. I am struggling to find a macro which can look at a name in column 'BT' and search it in the address book of Outlook to then place the email address of that person in column 'ED'

Text Longer Than A Column

I just reinstalled windows (XP) and Office 2003, SP3.
When entering text in a column and if it was larger than the current column, it used to just display into the next column unless there was data in that column.

Now, it just displays a few letter from the end of the first word. How can I change this back as default?

VBA - Fill Until String Longer Than 10

this is a hard nut I've been working on for a while. I have a worksheet that in column A has the following rows:

11| 1
12| 2
and so on...

What I'm trying to do, is to make a macro that will fill the value "21432 - Accessories" down until the next which is "21440 - Furniture", which then should be filled down until the next 5 digit value..

In my opinion the best way to approach it would be to search for a string longer than say 10 characters, then fill it down until the next string that's longer than 10 characters..

This is what I'd like it to look like after the macro has been run:

3 | 21432 - Accessories
4 | 21432 - Accessories
5 | 21432 - Accessories
