Trying to word this right. I have one cell with a date of 01/01/2010. I have other cells that I want to be equal to this cell plus 1 or more months.
For example A1=01/01/2010
I want A2 to = 02/01/2010 based on one calendar month entered into A1. So if A1 changes 03/01/2010, A2 will = 04/01/2010.
I have attached a copy of a spreadsheet that I am putting together, What I need to achieve is, when a date is entered into the completion date cell the daily count down in the days left cell stops but still shows the value in that cell. The Annual or Monthly cal tabs are the ones i need the formula for.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an issue whereby I have thousands of lines of data. I need to bring back the "previous month" worth of data (along with some additional information) but not sure how to go about this.
The attached shows the example file. I need the following :
1. Take the data to populate the "Populate" tab
2. Using Column F (Invoice Date Created) to only bring back the "previous month data" - in this case it would be May 2014
3. The following formula is what I have currently for Column B of the "Populate" tab: =SUMPRODUCT(SUMIFS('Data'!$N:$N, 'Data'!$M:$M, "Invoice Payment Processed", 'Data'!$A:$A, A2))
4. The above formula brings back all the values - I only want the previous month.
5. I am then not sure how to calculate Column C - which is a count of the amount of invoices that make up the total
I am playing around with creating a calendar based on a date (month) I enter into a cell. I am doing this with a simple =date+1.
I have a sample attached. Only problem I am having is that for months with 30 days I don't want the last day to show the first of the next month. But I can't simply remove that as if I entered a month with 31 days I would need it to show the 31st.
I currently have a worksheet that when a user clicks on the cell, a calendar form opens. From here they can select a date, click ok, and the date gets placed in the corresponding cell they clicked on.
Now if the user needs to change that date, i want them to be able to click on the cell again, and when the calendar opens, the date in the cell would be selected on the calendar. I was able to do this in a userform, but im not sure how to edit it to work on the worksheet. I am using the below to populate the calendar.

I'm trying to auto populate a calender style sheet in Excel 2010 based on data from a Work Schedule sheet. The work schedule sheet contains a list of jobs, with each row representing a different job. There is a column for the start date (e.g. 25/04/14) and a column for the end date (e.g. 26/04/14). There are other columns which select resources such as people and vehicles. Each resource may appear on any one of several columns for each row, e.g. Site Operative 1, Site Operative 2 etc.
On the calendar sheet, in which one cell represents one day (e.g. 25/04/14), all the dates are shown along the top going right and all the resources are shown on the left going down.
On the calender sheet, in every cell I want a formula that will look at the Work Schedule sheet and see if that particular resource is being used on that particular date. If it does, the cell can display information from another cell such as the job number or job name to which the resource is assigned; if it doesn't, the resource isn't being used so it can display "Free" or "Available".
get other cells in a spreadsheet to populate with the Saturdays of a month based on the date input in another cell.
Example
A1 = October 2014
The following cells would automatically display:

I can't seem to find a way to get just the Saturdays. +7 doesn't work because Saturday is not always the 7th day of the month.
I have a spreadsheet which I use to track when a work request is recieved, when we confirm the request and when we action the request. I have been trying to write some code to count the amount of requests, receipts and actions we have processed in the last month.
My first column shows who the request is from
The second shows date recieved
The third shows date we send receipt
The fourth shows the date actioned.
I have my ms access and ms excel which is connected each other .

Need to be able to highligh data within a range where the date in a column is for the previous month/s- therefore need to be able to also include in macro entering the current month - don't want to have to edit macro each month

I'm sent a file every day where column A contains a month & year but in "general" format.
For example;
Column A, starting with cell A1 with the next date in A2, etc

Is there a way through a formula or macro that I can use in order to run through all the dates in this column to make sure that the next cell down is always the month after the cell above it? The dates go all the way through to 2018 in the above format.
How to write a VBA code so that it would calculate the date of the previous Friday and from there Return the date exactly 1 month before; on any given day.
For example...
today is may 8th
So if I run the code the dates returned for last friday should be 05/02/2014

I need to find the last ocurance of the last date used for each month and then use the cell number to calculate the column totals for that month.
I have a userform which requires the user to enter the date a training course was completed. Initially I used DatePicker as I was running Excel 2010 and had that working, however the workbook I am creating will be used on about a dozen machines, all of which have different versions of Excel. It works well for me using the example spreadsheet provided in the post but I am having some difficulty incorporating it into my code. I believe I have imported the appropriate forms and modules because I can get the date populate to the Label Box on my userform but when I try to put the Date into the spreadsheet along with other data such as name and course duration, the name and course duration populate but the date cell remains blank and execution completes without error.
I have tried playing around with the data type thinking I had some issue using the .Value attribute with a String but .Text gives me an error as does converting from String to Number format.

I am writing a formula that will sum data for a 12 month period that is not based on a calendar year. For example may have data starting in June 2011 running to date, but not every month. If I set a start date for Year 1, say April 2012, I need to see Year 0 numbers (anything prior to April 2012), Year 1 numbers (April 2012 to March 2013), Year 2 numbers (April 2013 to March 2014), and so on. Date format is currently mmm-yy.
If this could be performed via a macro which references the database (spreadsheet), then even better. The database will contain multiple columns, of which two will contain the date and corresponding number respectively.
Kind of like what they do in airline booking web sites, where you have the option "show calendar" and you select the date from there, to avoid any possible typing mistakes. When you select the cell, a calendar or a date drop-down list should pop-up.

If the value in the current cell is "2" then goto the next row and insert one line. If the value is "3" then go to the next row, insert, next row insert etc. I'm currently written up to a value of 10, but the coding is getting longer and longer. Anybody got a shorter loop that I could use.

Once the month and year is selected I want to import all work orders onto the calendar based first on the "Labor Name" found in the list of work tab, then assign each work order for that labor name to the respective date on the calendar for the month.

I would like to do is have 2 listboxes. In the first listbox I would like the name of all the worksheets which contain the words "elective class: " in cell C7.
In the second listbox I would like the name of all the worksheets which do not contain the words "elective class: " in C7. I need this only to source from worksheet 7 onwards however.
The listboxes are called ListBox1 and ListBox2 respectively.
Also I am using this to print and I have a button which currently selects all the data in the first listbox and another button which prints all the selected data. The code being used for this is:

View 2 Replies View RelatedBasically, it is a scheduling of approving or rejecting of request dates. whereby, i will receive the request dates from Google doc form and then i will extract the data from web into the excel. The data i receive will include the ID, Date request and Remarks.
With the Information in hand, the data will then be "plot" into a schedule (which is a year calender that i have created on excel) base on the ID requested from the web and the ID in the excel.
After plotting, i also want to check if the number requested date exceed the quota set PER DAY, if it exceed, then i have to reject, if its not then approve.
So here comes the problem.. After all the dates have reflected on the calender, I want to get the information from the calender result(which is whether the date is approve or reject) back on to respective ID and Dates requested.

I'm trying to link two different budgets into a third spreadsheet. The final step I'm attempting to accomplish is have an if-and statement reference just the month from a date-formatted cell. One of my departments tracks their budget on a daily basis, i.e.
11/2/2009, 11/3/2009, etc. rather than just 11/2009. I want the if-and statement to return the budget from all days in a given month so i can apply the formula to the whole year, broken down monthly too. I saw a question similar to this one but didn't see any responses so I'm not sure if it can be done.
I have created a user form using the addins that come with excel to create a calendar that will allow the user to select a date and automatically put that in a specific cell. My system is office 2000.

I am looking for an excel calendar that will auto-populate content into it based on a spreadsheet that I fill in.
Maybe I would just need the formula that would be inserted into each calendar day? I'm not sure how you would set this up, but I'm open to suggestions!

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a input box that prompts a user to enter a date of a new month - it has to be the 1st of a new month. I have validation that it is a date that has been entered but then i want to validate the date entered is a month ahead of a date in a cell range on a sheet.
It is a monthly reset so it has to roll on from the previous month.
