Rename Active Worksheet From Personal.xls Macro

I am having trouble renaming an active sheet from a Macro I stored in the personal.xls file. I want the active sheet to be renamed to "Data_Source" and then the rest of the code can kick in. Instead of renaming the current worksheet it creates a new one.

Is it possible to have a macro re-name a worksheet. The context I want to use it would almost as a conditional formula.
Example: IF A1 = "time sheet" then sheet1 is then re-named to "time sheet"

I'm trying to create a copy of the active sheet and then rename the new copied sheet to what's in cell O4, which is a formula (see below) and then paste value cell O4 in B3 of the copied sheet. However, when I run this macro it doesn't seem to like the second line where I am renaming the sheet (run time error '1004').
"O4" =DATE(YEAR($B$3),MONTH($B$3)+1,DAY($B$3))

I tried recording a macro to add to a new worksheet, but it gives error while running.
Issue as I understand is, by default excel gives a new worksheet a name (Say Sheet 4), and when u run macro worksheet, new created name may be different.

I need to have many users press a button within the excel sheet that duplicates the form from the current page, opening a new tab (copying the form) that also prompts to input a specific name e.g. "Enter date and day or night shift" to name the tab itself.
I have just worked out how to put a Command Button in and used the above code to create the new page assigning the code to it.
I need the "my sheet" to be prompted and customisable.

Is it possible to write a macro that will rename a worksheet based on the value of the cell?
For instance, if cell a1 has the value Test, the worksheet should be named Test. If I change the value of the cell to say Test 1, the worksheet should automatically rename itself to Test 1.

I want to find a way to create multiple worksheets and matching data to be placed on appropriate sheets.
Here are more details (Please check the attached sheet screenshot as well):

In a workbook, there is a "Master-Sheet". This master sheet contains 8 columns.
I want to create as many new worksheets after master sheet as the values are there in column B (Column 2 i.e. Ad Group). In above attached screenshot, there are 8 values (B2:B9 or A-H). So, I would like to create 8 new worksheets after the master sheet. Also, I want to rename them based on their value from Ad Group column.
Each newly created worksheet should have same columns as the master sheet . Same 8 columns with their name intact.
Finally, I want all matching data of the Ad Group values to be placed on their respective newly created worksheet. For example, worksheet A should have A2:H2 data. Worksheet B should have A3:H3 data, and so on.
Please note that same ad group may have more than one row data. But I don't want to create multiple worksheet of same name ad group. The worksheet should be just one, but all matching data should be placed in that one sheet.
I know it is a bit complex task, but I am sure there would be a way to perform this automatically - probably a macro.

For example, a cell on the screen is blank. When the page is printed, the "blank cell" has printed text.
I checked "format cells" and it shows word wrap, merge cells, and left to right.
I was told to "un-merge" the cells. I did that and I still have the problem.
The color on all the cells is OK at a blue shade. When I look at print preview the cells are blank, but when the sheet is printed, the text shows.
Also, it looks like there are 2-3 cells inside the main cell.
I hope I have explained this properly, it is not easy to use the correct language to describe since I am not very good at using Excel.

Say i have a Worksheet named "gateway" or sometimes it will be "gateway (2)" (3) and so on. Is there a macro that i can call that in some ways calls the active worksheet and renames it to just "gateway" everytime?

I need the macro to filter a table using the name of active worksheet as criteria. The code that I am writing is as below, but it doesn't seem work:
ActiveSheet.Range("$A$1:$AE$421").AutoFilter Field:=19, Criteria1:="Activesheet.Name"
If I hard quote the name of the sheet then, the macro, unchecks all the criteria in the filter and does not show and row in the table.

I have a workbook with about 12 worksheets within it. I am trying to input a button on worksheet 3 that when pushed would activate worksheet 12. Basically the same as if you clicked on the tab at the bottom of the screen called worksheet 12.
I realise that you have to create a button which Ive done. However I cannot seem to figure out the proper macro code to get the button to change the current worksheet when its pushed.

I find out a code to create a PDF (with opening the Save As dialog box) from an active worksheet, but I can't find out how to send this PDF by e-mail (Outlook). The code is working till the words 'Set OutApp'.

I have searched the FAQ's but have not found a suitable answer to my problem. I have some code that works perfectly when it is run from the VB Editor but when I put it behind a command button it gives me an error almost straight away. I have read that when a command button is used the command button defaults the active sheet to the one that it is one therefore you always have to specify the active sheet but I have done this so am still confused as to why it is falling over. Below is my code, I have commented where it is tripping:

I'm using a macro to paste a formulae into a destination cell on another worksheet.
The problem is that I need the Macro to put the name of the active sheet into the formulae

I am looking for a macro that i can store in my personal.xlsb. what i need is pretty much is something like this

I only need it to run just for this file and i cannot place it in the file due to it gets replaced every day. Which if it didn't get replaced. I know how to do auto opens when the file stays the same I am just unsure for this.

I have several macros set up as modules in my personal.xls. There is one particluar macro (for purposes here I will call it "SourceMacro") which I use repeatedly in other macros (also stored in personal.xls). What I have been doing is copying the code from SourceMacro and pasting it into other macros.
I understand that I can actually run the SourceMacro without pasting the code by using a run command. I have inserted the following code into one of my other macros, but get an error message saying that the SourceMacro can not be found. (I have checked spelling carefully.)

I have a macro to insert rows and add formatting in personal.xls, which will run from another worksheet when using alt+ f8 with no problems.
However, I am trying to run it from a macro in the second worksheet and have tried :
Call InsertRows
and get a Compile Error: Sub or Function not defined.
Application.Run "insertrows"
and get a Runtime Error '1004': the macro '...' can not be found.
Application.Run "Personal.xls!insertrows"
and get no error message, but the rows are not inserted.
If I copy the Sub code into the new worksheet, and then use Call, everything acts as it should.
Is the third method the correct way of calling the macro, and if so, what would cause it not to do what it is supposed to do?

I have (and will be) creating a number of macro in my personal workbook, a number of which will be run from within other macro also in my personal workbook. I am creating these to be distributed to members of staff within my work. This will be done by creating a template workbook for the job to be done, and e-mailing them all a copy. Now, I can not work out how to move the macro from my personal workbook into the new template so they can be run from there? Also, the macro that access other macro have a path to my personal workbook, will this be updated automatically when they are moved, or will I need to manually change them
