Setting Value From List In Dropdown Control With VBA?

I have drop down form control called “V_bar” on spread sheet “Parameter table”. Using following VBA routine to populate list values from the range on another sheet named “Data table”
VB:

Upon initial display,if my toggle control value is True, I would like it to appear "selected", or down. If the initial value is False, I would like it to appear "deselected" or up. Even though I can successfully detect the state and set the color and caption, the control always appears up, as though it is not selected.

I have an excel that has dropdown column from form control, in F4 there is a formula of vlookup that take the range from A2 to B20 in consideration but the reference cell that is given to vlookup formula to pick corresponding value is E4 which is also the reference cell of dropdown box and therefore its not showing any name rather than a value, problem with the formula is that when we select any name from dropdown it does not respond to any value in F4 despite changing values in E4.
I am using these setting for the first time.

My drop downs are simple yes/no/NA witht a down arrow apprearing to the right. Works fine for all users except one troublemaker who for some reason sees the text and arrow as a mirrored, upside down image. It's not rotated to be upside down, it's mirrored so if you turned your monitor upside down you'd see the letters in the words backwards as if looking in a mirror. We're both on Excel 2007.

I'm trying to copy data from one sheet to another sheet automatically based on a number selected in a drop down control.
I have used OFFSET to pull some information successfully from a list. This is easy for me to do with single entries and a list and has worked well. I want to do similar but with a dataset not just single cells.
But, I can't seem to make OFFSET work to show a set of data easily.
Perhaps I will need VB code to do so? Or there is another control I'm not aware of? I've done very little with VB.
I'll attach a sample file to try to show better what I'm trying to do.

My problem is I cannot copy from a Form Control drop down box, and I need to do this for ~10 drop down boxes in about 200 xls files. The files follow a template so the drop down button Inputs are uniform. Here is some more detail:
I’m building an Access Database so that our data (currently in many, many Excel Spreadsheets) can be efficiently queried. The old system was that when asset data was collected, the data would be entered into an Excel spreadsheet, using a Template. So for example:

We have hundreds of these files, but I managed to get all the files in one folder and Paste and Transpose the data from the relevant Cell Ranges in each file (using a VB sub) into ONE summary sheet. Success; or so I thought.
Unfortunately for one generation of the template (people changed them slightly every year), the template had people enter information into Drop Down Menus. Not a problem when they’re associated with a cell, but these were free floating Form Controls.. so you can’t actually click and copy from them, or call them in VB as you would a specific cell.. afaik.
So my issue is how can I extract the data from those Form Buttons? I’ll try and provide as much info as I can:
Firstly I tried to find some sort of identifier for each Form Button. The dropdowns are called Combo Boxes, (Developer tab > Insert > Combo Box (Form Control) ), and when you select them (by right clicking) and hit the View Code button in Developer Tab > Controls the following shows up in VB.

I’m guessing that the number is related to the button so that’s one useful thing, an identifier of sorts. There’s no actual code there though really from what I can see.. My problem is I have no idea how to extract from DropDown44!
The range of values in the drop down comes from a separate sheet where there’s just a list of the values. There aren’t any cells linked to the drop downs though. If I enter a cell in (Right Click) Format Control > Cell link: then it prints the number (e.g. 4) of the value in the range. So if the drop down options are “Monday”, “Tuesday”, “Wednesday”, “Thursday” and “Thursday” is selected, the linked cell says: “4”.
They didn’t link a cell, then I could call that cell in a VB sub and the job would be done. Unfortunately they didn’t, so I tried Recording a Macro and selecting the drop down form control.. That didn’t really work, except if I right clicked it, I got some more info from the macro VB:
ActiveSheet.Shapes.Range(Array("Drop Down 19")).Select
So is my drop down an Array? My understanding of an Array is that it’s a list of arguments.. all I get there is the name of the button. I am not experienced in VB so this is as far as I’ve got. Perhaps I can get a sub to select the button using the above line, but I need the info from it, i.e. which value is currently selected in the Drop Down.
(Using Excel 2010 but the .xls files are from ~2005)

I'm trying to programmatically set the value of a combobox but I'm running into errors if the combobox list does not already contain the value I'm trying to set it to. How can I first test if the combobox has that as a valid option and, if not, add that item?

I want to automatically set default values in a row dependant on the value chosen in a list. Some of the default values need to be lists where the user can chose to update to a non-default value.
I have tried using a double drop down list. However if the default list value is changed then the dependant list value is changed, the default list is not automatically updated.

I have been working on a few different spreadsheets, and I have gotten almost everything to work. There are just two things that I just can't get right. Here is the first problem:
It seems to me that I should be able to change where the list will display where it says: sh.Range("a10").PasteSpecial xlPasteValues
I change the range to anything in column A and it works, but If I change the column, the entire script seems to run in one row, and the days of the week don't move.

I'm creating a spreadsheet to keep track of my costs of production in an online game. Within the game there are a range of spawned resources that appear for only a short time before being unobtainable these resources have specific types that is shared between multiple spawns of the resource but each resource spawn has a unique name.
My first worksheet lists all the resources and their various qualities and the later worksheets are meant to allow me to choose from a list resources matching the requirements of the item I'm looking to craft. The example i have shown in the second picture requires Tatooinian Fiberplast and Lokian Wild Wheat to craft so in the Chosen Resource column I would like to have a drop down list allowing me to select the named resource type i would like to use - for Tatooinian Fiberplast the only thing on the list should be Omnitwixi and for the Wild Wheat it should show Fizi and Krad

Is there a way to create a drop down list from a comma delimited list in a single cell? For example, col A is Name & Col B is the delimited list - Blue,Red,Green (list can be different for each name). Would like a drop down list in col C that allows you to pick one of the values from Col B.

I found code online that I can put on my sheet to get my formatting properties to stay the same for the items in my dropdown list located on another page. However the code does not work for conditional formatted cells...which is what I need. This is the code that I have that will carry over regular formatted cells. Just not Conditional formatted cells.

I have 3 related dropdown lists that work perfectly, if you enter data from left to right. But, if you click in the cell containing the second list, which is based on the first list, of which nothing has been selected, you can just type any value in the cell. Is there a way to prevent this, or at least validate that what is entered is a value in the list.

Im trying to organize a tools inventory list. Its supposed to be sort of like an order sheet for each department. But what I want to do is when I select either CARPENTRY, or any of the other trades from a drop-down list, I'll be able to select from another drop-down list items associated with that trade in particular. So eventually I want the master data hidden, preferably in another sheet. I searched all of Google but it seems a bit complicated to get it done. I've attached the sheet so that you can see what I'm talking about. MOVE IN MASTER LIST.xlsx

I am designing (badly!) an excel file that is intended to be as user friendly as possible. I would like to add in a navigation feature using a list box or other appropriate control form that will take the user to the correct tab in the workbook depending on which item they choose from the list.
My aim is too hide all the tabs at the bottom whilst not crowding my page with multiple command buttons, and still be able to navigate easily through the workbook.

I have a userform with a combobox that displays unique values from column A of the worksheet. I have a number of fields for each record going from columns A to J and A1:J1 is headings.
When user selects any particular record from the drop down list, it displays all the related fields on the labels on userform.
The column J is not initially completed for every record. But users put their feedback in column J (which done via userform) as they go. This does not happen in any particular order.
I am wondering if I can make the combobox pickup entries with no values in their column J.....in other words, can the combobox ONLY display the records that havent got user feedbacks in front of them in column J ?
So once a record has recieved a feedback in column J, its not seen again in the combobox.....to avoid doubling up on feedbacks.

Also, what code would I use to select the row source for the combobox?
As the number of entries in the worksheet are growing the combobox rowsource range needs to grow automatically.
My worksheet is called "ComplaintData" which hidden, Combobox is called "complaintdis" and it needs to display values from column A in the dropdownlist.

I have 2 dropdown lists.
The 1st shows the portfolio list and the 2nd one should display project names based on the portfolio selection in Dropdown1.
My data resides in another sheet where Column B is the Portfolio list,Column C project list and Column D to X some data related to the project.
I have to give cell link reference to the project selected in dropdown 2 so that the other values in the dashboard changes based on a vlookup formula.
I have attached the sample sheet for reference with some dump values.

I'm using combo boxes. Initially I used combo boxes from the Forms toolbar, however the text in the combo box was to small. Now I'm using combo boxes from the Control tool bar. However, i would like the link cell to show the number of the entry in the list (like the forms control box) and not the actual entry. Is there an option I need to select in properties, or is there some VB code I can attach to the combo box ?

I have dropdown list witch is "date" in cell A1 in cell C1 i put number witch is "money"
d1:d100 i have "dates"
e1:e100 should get the data from c1
So I use in e1:e100
=IF(a$1=d1,c$1,0)
=IF(a$2=d2,c$1,0)
etc ...
I can use it only for 1 date. I want to choose date from my dropdown list put money and then choose another date and put money.

I am trying to make a spreadsheet where I use a drop down menu for several of my vendors. When I select the Vendor's name from the drop down menu (for example in A1), I would like A2 to display that vendor's phone number. But when I switch vendor name from drop down list in A1, A2 would need to reflect the new vendor's contact info.
