Oct 14, 2009i have a data of empl their birthdate wise. i want it to sorting from birth day wise for example first " DAY then Month then year". day come first then month then year. find attched file.

if I could get the formula in excel ,since this is the sample data as I do have a numerous & huge data like shown above datewise where I need to add C ,D and E but Opening stock(column B) from next date onwards must be equal to previous date closing stock(Column F).

Mar 24, 2014in creating a Macro which copy and paste the data from "Sample2.xlsx" file to "Sample.xlsx" file after row count in each column. Macro should not overwrite any previous data present in workbook.
Note: Sample2 workbook is containing a Variable Columns. Macro should match the headings of the Column in both workbooks and then copy and paste the data after row count.

Jan 26, 2009I am hopeless at remembering birthdays tbh - so rather than rely on family to remind me, I decided to make a spreadsheet that shows: D.O.B, current age (in years, months, days), and number of days remaining until next birthday.
Please see attached - I can't figure out why the current age calculation is a month out. e.g 'Sebastian' was born on 16 Nov 2008, which makes him 3 months and 11 days old - but '=TODAY()-C16' yields "00 Years 4 Month(s) 12 Days"
Also, 'Leah' has just her birthday - but now where it is supposed to give 'days until next birthday' it gives an error with the formula: '=DATEDIF(TODAY(),EDATE(C4,(YEAR(NOW())-YEAR(C4))*12),"d")'

In column H:H i have birthdays and in B:B i have the name of the employee. so i am using the formula =IF(TEXT(H2,"dd-mm")=TEXT(TODAY(),"dd-mm"),B2,"") to display the Today's Birthday. Now i need to update two things here.
1) Need a formula to display the upcoming birthdays with in a month . for this i am using =IF(TEXT(H2,"mm")=TEXT(TODAY(),"mm"),B2,"")it works well but i need to show the total upcoming birthdays in one place only. suppose the names in B2 ,B10 , B25 having the birthdays in this month it will shows the result in I2 ,I10 , I25 . but i need it to show in one place or in one shape .
2) I need to send Wishes mail to them . Is there any macro to send the wishes mail to those are having the birthday's today ?

It shold have several states:
number of days left if the birthday is current or next month
"not soon enough" if the birthday will come in more than 2 months (later than next month);
"happy birthday" if it is today;
"the past weekend" if it was the past weekend and it is Monday today.
What can you suggest?

Jun 22, 2007I am attaching a sample file wherein my requirement is that on clicking one button labelled (actually textBox) "show Data sheets" should display a list of all three data sheets which are hidden and other button labelled (actually textBox) "show Reports" should display a list of all three Report sheets which are also hidden.
Actually users will be able to put data in Datasheets whereas Report sheets contain formula etc and users will not be able to put any data on those report sheets.
Only one sheet should be displayed on the screen ie when user will move to Datasheet1 from Introduction sheet, only Datasheet1 should be displayed.When user will move from Datasheet 1 to Datasheet2 only Datasheet2 should be displayed and so on.
