I want to calulate a cell to show if a a product is in warranty or out of warranty from a date in another cell.
=IF (D25<365, "In Warranty","Non Warranty")
I think I may have got the syntax wrong.

I am trying to do away with our traditional "hard copy" book of warranty codes here and I would like to create a sheet with 6 changing combo boxes so I don't have to flip through this dad-burn book all day for codes.
the first combo box would be like "brands" then "type" "model" "section" "item" "repair type" and then like a cell to display a value from a list depending on all 6 previous combo box selections. Similar to those car part websites where you enter your vehichles info to arrive at a part number or price.

I'm trying to create a supply order form. Is it possible to enter a product name in one cell and have the price for that product automatically appear in another cell? Is there a formula that I can use to make this happen?

I need to find out over aged students by date of birth - now()-age started to school: DOB 8/16/2000 , Now() Age started school is 8/30/2005. Student is in grade 1. should be age 6, however, he is 8. Answer should be a little over 2 yrs.

I would like to calculate the number of years and months that have passed since a certain date. Would like it in a number format so I can pickout those who have gone reached 5 year increments during each month.
Such as someone reaching 40 injury free years in June of this year I can let them know.

Is there any way of configuring Excel so that it will automatically show the day when I hover my cursor over a cell that contains a date, eg 09/10/06 will show Monday as a pop-up similar to a comments box when the cursor is held over it.

In one cell the user has to fill in a date, example 20.3.2008 and then in another cell he/she has to choose a month from a list (january-december). I need a macro that checks that the month stated in the date cell is the same as the month selected in the other list cell.

I have columns in my spreadsheet that will be getting updated periodically with a number. 1 week it might be 24, the next it might be 26.... and they would go in January's price, February's price....
The problem is, if a price is entered into the column, we don't know when it was entered other than the fact that it was entered in that month.
Is there a way to show the date and time of when a number gets entered or edited in a cell? This date/time could perhaps show up in a column right next to it.

I have a little problem (but for me is like a break); I want, when I change some in a cell, in the other cell, show me current date. I try with "today()", but , next day when I open that workbook, in that cell, show me the date coresponding with the next day (normaly).
How ,I can rezolve this? I want to blocked that cell, only view, but no acces for change enithing.

Attached is a excel file that has a working formula for tracking cashier variances. I edited out names etc.
I added a new cell called Track Back on the employee search sheet.
What I want to do is only show variances for the amount of days back selected in the Track Back cell.
For example if I select the last 30 days, only the last 30 days would show up below in the sheet.
I am not sure if this is even possible based on the forumla that is already on the sheet. I couldn't figure out a way of doing it. But there are a lot of people on here much better with excel than me

I currently have a worksheet that when a user clicks on the cell, a calendar form opens. From here they can select a date, click ok, and the date gets placed in the corresponding cell they clicked on.
Now if the user needs to change that date, i want them to be able to click on the cell again, and when the calendar opens, the date in the cell would be selected on the calendar. I was able to do this in a userform, but im not sure how to edit it to work on the worksheet. I am using the below to populate the calendar.

I'm trying to set a cell on one sheet to be equal to the product of two cells on another sheet. The problem is that one of the cells on the other page is dependent on the variable T. This is what I've got and it's giving me errors

I have the following columns that return cover period dates.
Start of Cover PeriodEnd of Cover Period01-Nov-0631-Jan-0701-Jul-0831-May-0901-Dec-0930-Jun-1001-Jan-1131-Dec-10
I however need a macro that will delete the cell contents if the "Start of Cover Period" (column AK) date is > than the "End of cover period" (column AL) date.
Thus it must compare ak2 with al2 and if ak2>al2 then clear both cells. if AK2

I am trying to use a PRODUCT formula to return the product of a list of numbers in a column, between 2 specified dates. The spreadsheet is arranged as follows:
Column BA list of dates
Column C & DNumerical data not used in any calculations
Column EThe numbers to multiply together
Cell A1Start date to be used in the PRODUCTformula
Cell A2End date to be used in the PRODUCT formula
The formula I have to multiply the data in column E, subject to the start and end dates in Column A is:
{=PRODUCT(IF(B15:B1000>A1,IF(B15:B1000<=A2,INDEX(B15:E1000,0,4))))}
This returns zero though works appropriately if I replace “PRODUCT” with a “SUM”.

I'm working on a order spreadsheet system, and I have one sheet called Product Details, where the product name, list price and product code are found, these link to the Sales order page, and I need them so that they can be added to.
So far, I have created a dynamic named range for the Product name on the Product details sheet, and linked the the range via a list validation on the Sales order sheet.
The drop down list displays the products and can be added to by typing new product names on the other sheet.
What I need now is that when a product on the sales order page is selected, it draws the the list price and product code data automatically from the sheet, I tried using a normal vlookup, but I couldn't get it to work. I also need the list price and product code columns to be 'dynamic' so new values can be added further along.

The trick is, I only want it to sum them if it's within the current month. I am entering something wrong because I get an error message.

I would like to have a Macro to go from the first tab called "Start" and end up with the second tab "End" automatically. BAsically I need to take the product on each line under Tab Start and reproduce it for sizes 35-41 always ending with "-(size)". Then this new Product with Size needs to be multiplied one below the other for as many times as I have pictures (number shown under column B of the tab Start). Next to this value in column B of tab End I'd like the same name listed again but with the number 1, then 2, then 3, etc. as needed and the extension .jpg.

I have this worksheet with 2 buttons and 2 textboxes.the first button is named search literally to search the items inputted in the textboxes and the second button is clear which clear all the inputted items in the textboxes and the search field. I manage to code those things however I have a main problem. How am I suppose to linked a checkbox with those items?
For example I searched this particular item so the checkbox corresponding to that item must show up in the left most column of it. and if I searched multiple items those checkboxes must show up too. I am having a hard time coding and trying since I am new in vba. I also attached a sample worksheet. I am using excel 2007.

I have been using the sumproduct formula to count how many times a certain piece of data appears...which works fine...for text purposes such as names, initials etc...
I now need to amend the formula to count how many times a date appears in a range of dates.
I know when you use the sumproduct...dates must be input and formatted as text.
example

5-Feb
7-Feb
12-Feb

I created a large table with data (1700 lines long) and am looking to create a sheet that will use it to do a call for totals whilst filtering for a specific line.
This is what I have currently, filtered by delivery date and key ("furniture desc").
The 58 and 54 are totals for that particular product which I would like to ideally see on a separate sheet.

What kind of formula would I need to use to first filter by date, then by key, then to tally up the quantities and drop them on another sheet?
Bearing in mind that other keys are intertwined on the Y axis so I can't use =SUM(xx:xx)
