I have been working on this issue for some time, searches let me down paths to tell me of the color of the cell, but can't put all the pieces together. What I am trying to do, is upon Clicking Command Button 1 it will go row by row of column D (there are 2 headers so D3 would be the first fillable data) looking for dates that is past todays date, if past, it will color the cell red then copy it to the next available row in sheet2 then continue, date past due, color red, copy entire row to sheet 2 looping until the end is reached
If a1,a21,a41 have a value greater than 0, I wish to stamp cell b1,b21,b41 and so on with todays date, but without the stamped value changing/advancing tomorrow. At the moment cells b1,b21,b41 are copied down as follows. =if(a1>0,TODAY(),"") This works fine, but the date stamp of course changes tomorrow. I can not apply code to the whole b column as cells b2:b20, b22:40 etc have other non-date format data to which the code does not need to apply - the todays date value cell occurs every 20 cells.
I am importing data that contains specific start dates and I was wondering how to filter the criteria in Microsoft query to only show start dates greater than today or perhaps yesterday. This would eliminate all entries that have already occurred. It seems I can only select a date in the criteria that exists in the data.
how I can create a formula that would highlight the cell in a colour if the date was past todays date? This is what I'm doing - I have the expiry date of people's insurances. so e.g todays date is 8 th January, so if the insurance had expired 31.12.08, i would want the cell to be highlighted red. I need to VBA code that will loop through the active sheet for all rows, column C2 through however many rows there are. Col C contains a date in the format: mm/dd/yyyy. I need the VBA to compare this date to today's date+30 days and if the date in C2, etc. is greater than today's date + 30 days, shade the row a particular background color (e.g., 3).
Upon opening a spreadsheet, I would like a macro to highlight the cell which contains todays date. This will be selected from a range of dates which are already populated in column B. Is it possible to have a macro which can select the cell in column B which contains today's date? If possible, please could you include the code for doing this upon opening the spreadsheet. Iím trying to get a column of cells to update with the date that the cells contents change to ďYĒ. I had been using the formula =IF(I7="Y",TODAY(),"-") in cell J7 but this updates the date every day. I need this date to remain the same as when itís first populated.

I'm trying to create a workbook which has dates in column B, starting with row 10. I'd like to have a code which will hide the rows if the date is less than today upon workbook open. This would need to apply to worksheet1 only.
Its a training list, and I want to count the number of staff with valid training dates, I want to keep invalid dates as a reminder and I also have text N/A to disregard. Have used an IF function array but there are approx 33 column entries I want to add and using array function limits the amount of formula entries up to column 24.
Would be much easier if I used data validation to kick out the invalid date entries but we want to keep them if possible.
how to make the data look like a table with three columns. Other than the date, it is space delimited. I have a tracking spreadsheet where Column A is populated with dates for the year. Column C contains daily values.
I don't always start entering daily values on the first day of the year, e.g., this year the first value in Column C corresponds to March 9. All values in Column C are contiguous - there are no blank cells until the value in Column A is greater than today's date code. I would like to use a formula (rather than VBA) to look down Column C and find the first non-blank entry where the value in Column A is less than or equal to today(). In this case, the formula should return the value for March 9, 2008.

I want to divide the numbers from 2 cells, down a long column. Let's further say that in some instances there aren't any numbers in either of the cells. You get a divide by zero error.
So you have values in a1 and b1 through a10 and b10. You want to divide the value in the a column by the value in the b column and return the answer in the adjacent c column. You've copied the formula all the way down to c20.
All the cells from c11 to c20 will have divide by zero errors.
What is the syntax to check if both cells in columns a and b are greater than zero so that either an answer will be returned or just a blank cell will result, (when nothing is in one of the cells from a or b?

In the attached workbook - the stock Inventory is increased, every second day, by the value shown in cells of column A. Column B displays the date of the update. I'm looking for a Formula (might be an Array Formula) that will return the latest date before the stock turns to be greater than the value in cell D3. I managed to solve it, in cell F3, but with the help column C.
I have a workbook that I'm using to tracking staffing patterns within a mental health agency. When the workbook opens the user is asked to pick a date range and an office location. I've placed code into the userform that pre-fills the "start date" with today's date and the "end date" 7 days from today's date. I would like the user to be able to enter a unique date range should they wish but I have yet to figure out the coding to accomplish my goal.
