I use sumproduct to put total qty into the Defect Table. But it take a long time for excel to run the counting process. Problem: From master data sheet, I want to plot the qty into the defect table follow by date occurring and by section

Double Condition (where Sumproduct Won't Work)

my table is something like below:

my program sheet looks something like this:

I need a double condition formula to check the date, if matches the date Column (A), and matches product Column (b), then returns Column (C) which is the doc#.
I Could easily do it if it is a sum product formula, but in this case, it is alpha numberic.

date: 14 Jun (dd / mm)
product -- Doc#
apple ---- ac21 (so what formula do I put here?)
Orange --- abc2 (formula?)

date --- product --- Doc#
12 Jun -- apple ----- abc1
12 Jun -- Orange --- ab12
14 JUn -- Apple ----- ab21
14 Jun -- Orange ---- abc2

Double Click On A Total It Opens A New Sheet

i am working on a pivot report and it works fine so far, but the only thing i am trying to do here is when duble click on a total it opens a new sheet with the report needed but it names the sheet as sheet1 and so on (sheet2,3,4...)

is there a way when i duble click a total it automaticly names the sheet for me?

I have a spreadsheet in which I am trying to track invoices billed according to month in question. For example, I need to find total invoices billed in February for ABC Consulting Company. I have a database in the same spreadsheet that contains all invoices billed for an entire year for all companies. How do I pull invoices for a particular month only, in this case for the month of February? I have attached an example of spreadsheet in question. Included is a tab which indicates desired results.

as u can see on picture I have some data and i want it to filter with "debet" and "credit",while debet can be zero or number x when in the same time credit can be zero or the same number x so when entering number x meaning e.g. 500 i get to rows

first
debet = 0 and credit = 500

second
debet = 500 and credit = 0

while running advanced filter i was getting nothing because i couldn't write what i needed

Double Lookup From Two Dimensional Table

I am trying to get a cell in my spreadsheet to look up a value based on two values. I have a dropdown list that lists the worksheets in the workbook, and each worksheet has a table with width measurements for the columns and height measurements for the rows. I have a function that is mostly working, it calls the data from the proper worksheet, but it rounds the measurement values down, and I need it to round to the next highest value on the table.

For instance, the measurement may be 55" x 55" in, but the table has values for 54" and 60". The current formula rounds down to the 54" measurement, but I need it to round up to the 60". I have attached what I have so far with further notes and cells highlighted.

I am trying to sum up the total number of hours consumed on a particular activity within a specified period.

=SUMPRODUCT(($C38:$C176>=$B7)*($C38:$C176<=$C7)*($B38:$B176=$D5))

Unfortunately, the formula above gives me the total number of activity and NOT the total number of hours within a specified period. I attached the file I'm working on as reference.

SUMPRODUCT & Dynamic Range: Total All The Blank InDates For Each Technician By Employee Number

I have what I thought was going to be a simple function to create and, after a week of getting more error messages than I've had in a year, I'm ready to throw in the towel. Situation: There are two worksheets in the same workbook [Excel 2003]. One is for "Posting" details about technicians and their work orders. The other is a "Report" that summarizes the number of workorders open, closed, etc.

In the "Posting" sheet, I have created dynamic name ranges for two columns: Technician (4-digit text field) and InDate (date field that, if blank, means that the technician has not closed this work order. My ranges are set up like this:

Technician=OFFSET(Posting!$B$2,0,0,COUNT(Posting!$B:$B),1)
InDate=OFFSET(Posting!$D$2,0,0,COUNT(Posting!$D:$D),1)

So all I need to do is to total all the blank InDates for each Technician by employee number. I've tried COUNT to SUMPRODUCT. A co-worker got it to work with using...=SUMPRODUCT((ISBLANK(Posting!$D$2:$D$65307))*(Posting!$B$2:$B$65307=4288))
His solution was to list almost every available cell in each column. I just can't help but think that the dynamic name range should be able to work but I can't get it right. I think I'll choke if I get one more "N/A" or "VALUE! error.

I upgraded to Excel 2010 from Excel 2000 a couple months ago. In Excel 2010, after double-clicking on values in a pivot table to create a new worksheets, I'm unable to highlight those worksheets and add a column to all of them. I was able to do this in Excel 2000... I can't figure out what's stopping it from happening for the life of me. Am I missing something obvious here?

In Column A1:A20, these are included 5 types of data (red, orange, yellow, green, blue); in column B1:B20, these are included the total salary amount, and in column C1:C:20, these are included "Sole" , "Joint" or "Partnership", so if column A is included red/yellow/green (excluding orange and blue) and column C is included Sole/joint/Partenship, and total salary is between 6000 and 9000, then calculate the total salary of all the customers. SUMPRODUCT To Match Criteria

I am trying to match 3 values, and return a matching 4th from a chart. It will first look at one value and see if it falls between values (the LOAD value in cell B1..it will look to see if it falls between the "low limit" and "high limit" in columns A10 to A135 and C10 to C135, respectively. Then it will look for a match for the values in cell A2, and in cell A3. the return value will index to the corresponding value in column G10 to G135. I have written a formula to do this in cell D2....but it will only ever return the value in cell G10.

I am stuck - I have a large amount of data for a group of physicians I work for. I am trying to set up a monthly trend report to be able to run quickly after I plug in the data. I want to use some sort of lookup to look up two things - 1) the physician's specialty and 2) the month.

I have the following sumproduct formula that's providing solid results but I would like to add a 3rd column of criteria. I'v tired with little succes.

The following formula <=SUMPRODUCT(('IW 38 DUMP for Planning'!$A$1:$A$10000="2A")*('IW 38 DUMP for Planning'!$E1:$E10000={"PAA","RS","RSNR","S","SAM","SAMT","SAO","SAT","SOR","WKS"}))> totals all of the work in plant area "2A", in this case 52 records. I would like it to filter further with values in $H1:$H1000 matching criteria "CONTRACT", "MACH" OR "HTSMET".

The data is easy to find with pivot tables but I would like to take that manual step out of the reporting being doen from these records.

I am trying to get this sumproduct to work that will exclude two criteria:

1) If there is an error in the sum range (Y5:Y1000)
2) If right(H5,5)= D5& "Total"

This is the formula I have, but I'm not sure how to get the first criteria to work well, or how to get two exclusion criteria to work.
