Automatic Copy Of Values From One Sheet To Other Sheets

I am trying to make some sheets with football teams from one championship and their results. For example i will have a match between TeamA vs. TeamB that will end 0-0. I will enter this value in the sheet for the TeamA results but normally this value will also be found in the results sheet of TeamB.

My question is, how can i make excel copy this value once i enter it for TeamA in the results sheet for TeamB.

Match Values On 2 Sheets If Value Matches Copy Row Into 2nd Sheet

I need a macro to start at cell "A1" on sheet1 and then find that same value on sheet 2 in column B. Once it finds that value in sheet 2, the code would copy the row related to "A1" (A1:H1) into the row on sheet 2 with the value matching "A1" from sheet 1. Once it has done this I need it to do the same from A2:A598. I thought this code below was working but it seems to erase a row from sheet 2 if it is not present in sheet 1. I need the macro to only update the row if the information in column A on both sheets is the same. Here is the code I am using

Currently I have it setup to copy rows to a sheet "Report" based on a single cell value. But now I need the same thing but have it copy the rows based on 2 cells values to sheet "Report". So for example I wanted to copy and paste each row in my workbook that contain values in Columns N:N that contain the value "Test" and in columns AB:AB that contain "1".

How To Copy Excel Sheets Values Only To A Master Sheet Without Formulas

I have an excel file with 9 sheets and I want to copy all the data from those sheets to a master sheet but with out the formulas . I need the values only to appear in the master sheet. I used the following vba macro code which I found it while I was searching for an answer, it did it perfectly except for the formula part. !! I guess, it has to be edited by adding some codes with paste options but I don't know how!

Automatic Search/Copy/Paste Between Sheets, How?

I would like Excel to do the following and have no idea how to write the instructions. The function is as follows:

From a general information sheet (sheet #1), XCEL looks at a cell to determine if that cell holds "A" or "B" (will be a word, and choice will be previously fixed by a dropdown menu). It then looks at another cell in the same row to determine if it equals 0 or 1.
If the cell holds A, and the other cell holds 0, XCEL copies the row from the general information sheet onto sheet #2 of the same workbook.

If the cell holds B and the other cell holds 0, XCEL copies the row from the general information sheet onto sheet #3 of the same workbook.

After XCEL has copied a row, it inputs a 1 in a final cell of that row so it will not copy that row again.

On sheet #2 and sheet #3, XCEL begins (and copies to) the first open row in column A (by moving there after performing its last copy function or by checking column A until it finds a cell = 0), so that each new copy function begins in an open row.

Automatic Update From Multiple Sheets To Master Sheet

I have multiple sheets all of which are identical except for the number of rows containing data. I have been trying to create a macro to update these sheets into one 'Master' sheet but I'm having great difficulties due to me needing to leave Column A and Row 1 blank.

I have uploaded example data of what I am after, sheets 2 - 6 need to be automatically updated to the 'Master' sheet when the macro is run.

I have a workbook that updates from external source and creates sheets depending on a cell range.

I have put tab 1 and tab 0 on either end of where the new sheets will be inputted, will never know how many sheets

What i need to happen is if someone fills in "complete" in A7 in my "summary" sheet then the values in row 6 in all the other sheets get hardcoded. This needs to happen from A7 down to A26, so A8 = complete then copy row 7 etc

I am trying find a match from multple "text" values.

The values I'm using are flight numbers from sheet "Indiv case" in column (range H2:H51). The flight number could occur multiple time in the column.

The associated flight number sheet "Code & categories" in column (range H2:H257) are associated with the last port of embarkation (range I2:I257) in "Code & categories" sheet.

I need to copy & past the name of the Last port of embarkation from sheet "Code & categories" into sheet "Indiv case" adjcent to the flight numbers in column (I2:I51).

Example: Sheet "Indiv case" from Column (H2:H51) Fligh number Data: UA863, VA4148, EK432, BA15, BA15, VA98, QF8, AC33 etc Using these value from "Indiv case" from Column (H2:H51) search and match valuse in "Code & categories" in column (range H2:H257)

Sheet1: 10 columns (can have any number of rows, let's say 5,000 rows)
Sheet2: 10 columns (can also have random number of rows, let's say 10,000)

Both sheets have the same data but the column headers may be slightly different due to the source being different systems

Here's what I need: I need a macro to copy the data (without the headers) from Sheet1 underneath the the last row of Sheet2. For example beginning on the 10,001 row of Sheet 2. OR, if it's easier to copy the data in both sheets to a new sheet. The new sheet will already have the headers so begin pasting on the second row

I have a problem with a macro script I need to write (unsure where to start probably). Im using Excel 2003. In my spreadsheet I have many worksheets (90+) and I need to copy information from specific cells (the same for each sheet, but the cell range varies each month) from any identified worksheet in the spreadsheet (the specific sheets I want to copy from will differ from month to month but are given in a list.). Then paste this data in sequential order of identified worksheet but transposed into sheet Summary. In effect this is:

1.Identify the sheet name from the ListingOrder in worksheet LISTING
2.Identify the monthly range of cells
3.Copy the data (Indicator, Month, Name and Activity)
4.Go to sheet SUMMARY
5.Go to next available cell in column A
6.Paste special, transpose
7.Loop to next sheet name in the ListingOrder
8.Undertake actions 1-7 until all relevant sheets have been copied from and pasted to Summary sheet.

The end result is as shown in the Worksheet SummaryExample no need to worry about formatting. Samole data and SummaryExample in attached spreadsheet. Sorry I cant offer any script at present Ive been trying to work it out using Vlookups etc but get the feeling it would be easier via a macro.

Copy Row From One Sheet To Many Sheets Within Same Workbook

I'm trying to find the simplest way (macro I guess) to copy a row into a corresponding workbook. This is for a registration workbook.

This workbook has a demograhics sheet (the main sheet), which will have the persons name, dob, and a few other identifiers. It will also have a column for a registration person to enter the of the 4-5 workshops/classes that a student can be enrolled in. For the sake of argument these will be numeric, comma seperated values 1,2, 3 etc.

I'll then have many sheets (one for each class) that are named 1-Employee Morale, 2-Interoffice Relationships, etc.

Is there an easy way that upon entering a new row in the demographics sheet, the persons name can be copied to the class list? Esentially I'm trying to have one master list of all students and the classes they are signe dup for, and then a printable list for each class that can be given to the instructor.

I know you could probably do a macro, run it once, and do it after everyone is registered, but we would prefer that the data populate based on a trigger or something as each row is entered. The sheets for each class could be named numeric so if you entered 1,2,3 as the classes then the sheets 1,2,3 (names) would be populated.

Recently a change my good old buddy Excel 2003 with 2007. I was happy when I understanad that the sheet has over 1 000 000 rows which is very suitable for me. I have a sheet (SHEET1) with a EAN code and a empty column I need to get a colour into from sheet 2.

I have to match EAN codes in Sheet 1, (Column X) with Sheet 2(Column E) and then pull the description from the corresponding row in Sheet 2(Column D).

I have a macro that copies 2 worksheets of an open workbook "Combined Sales Tool" and saves those 2 sheets in the root of the C drive with a variable name.

I want to know how I can #1 close the newly created workbook, #2 focus back to the original workbook "Combined Sales Tool", hide the 2 sheets that were copied to the new file, then close the original workbook with (and for example without) saving

Create Sheet That Totals Values From Other Sheets?

I have a spreadsheet with 13 sheets. Sheets 1-12 are Jan - DEC and I would like to make the 13th sheet a totals sheet Year to date.

The totals sheet will update when I populate/update the fields in sheets 1 -12.

The sheets have names in column A.

The sheets have labeled columns in Row 1.

What I am trying to accomplish is something like "if BOB in A:A on sheets 1 - 12, sum (or average) column B on the same row as BOB for sheets 1-12 and add to sheet 13.

I know this doesn't work, but this is my thinking =SUM(JAN:!H2:H200, FEB!H2:H200, etc.) if A2:A200 is "EAXACT MATCH" to sheet 13 A:A

I want to be able to sort/filter/hide on different sheets at different times without affecting the totals sheet. do I need to use subtotal?

I have a Excel file with alot of data in it. I need a macro that will create a report for me and relive me from alot of manual work. The 1st sheet is named "Projects". This contains the search arguments. The 2nd sheet is named "Database". This is the sheet where I want to search in. The 3rd sheet is named "Report". This will contain the results of the search. So the going will be something like this:

Copy row 7 from "Projects" into row 7 in "Report". Then use the value in that row, column E (named Search code). Search for rows that has this value in column E in the "Database" sheet. Copy all those rows to "Report" sheet. Copy row 8 from "Projects", leave two rows of space and paste into "Report". Repeat the procedure mentioned above. Repeat this until reaching a row in "Projects" that has no value in Column A.

Copy Cells From A Sheet And Transfer Only The Values To Other Sheet?

I'm trying to copy the cells from a sheet and transfer only the values to other sheet.

I did it via code and it worked fine, except for the dates. In the new sheet the months and days are swapped.

The original date is composed via the concatenate function, since it gets inputs (day, month and year) from the user in different cells. It's in the format D/M/YYYY (examples: 4/2/2014, 10/12/2013). I believe the excel interprets it as Text, even if I formated the cells to Date.

I think it may have something to do with the default format in different countries. Here in Brazil we use DD/MM/YYYY, but my Excel is in english and in US the format is MM/DD/YYYY, am I right?

Match Values Between 2 Sheets, Copy All Corresponding Data & Sum Results

I want to locate the corresponding acct number between worksheets primary_data and qty_movement and once a match is found (from acct worksheet) then copy over the acct numbers and the share data to the results page. If there is no match I dont want anything copied to the results page, just ignore that data on either worksheet primary_data or qty_movement.

Both ranges on primary_data and qty_movement worksheet are variable, as accts are left off or kept on depending on the daily activity so the ranges are never set.
I need to concatenate on primary_data worksheet cells A&B&C to get acct number
concatenate on qty_movment worksheet cells B&C (need to keep zeros in front of actual numbers for acct number reasons)
these accts need to be cross referenced as the accounts on the acct worksheet (pre-populated with corresponding acct numbers that never change and will always be on that worksheet)
If a match is found on the acct sheet then I would like it to either replace the acct so they match on both worksheets or just to recognize those accounts correspond with each other and do the below.
then take the 2 concatenated acct numbers off of primary_data and qty_movement in the I cells and copy them over to the results worksheet as well as the share data from primary_data (column E) and qty_movement(Column D) and then compare the 2 share amounts on results(column E)

i need to elaborate on anything, the attached sample sheet shows what i want to do, but without any formulas or code.

Ive done a search of the forum for a macro and found some post that seems to be about what I want to do, but unfortunately my minimal vb experience prevents me from adapting them to my requirements.

Ive got a workbook with three sheets; say Sheet A, Sheet B and Sheet C. I want the info in Sheet C copied to either Sheet A or B depending on the info in cells in Column A of Sheet C.

Sheet C contains customer info, there are about 9 column headings and up to 30 000 rows (Individual customers).

The cells in Column A will contain a number between 0 - 23. What I want the macro to do is, if a cell in Column A contains any of these numbers, 0, 1, 2, 6,7,8,9,10,17,19,20,21,22,23, I want that whole row copied to Sheet A and if it contains 3,4,5,11,12,13,14,15,16,18, I want it copied to Sheet B. The cells will only contain one number, never a combination.

I've come across the post by Dangelor but can't reply to it directly so have started a new thread quoting the code. I'm trying to select entire rows of data based on specific values in a column and then paste those rows to a new worksheet.
This code loops 10 times and creates 10 new sheets. Any chance someone could explain some of the code to me and adapt it to suit my situation?: Data will be in sheet 1 ("Data List"). I want search down the rows and if the value in column 2 is "1" copy that row to the sheet named "Heat 1", if the value is "2" then copy that row intt the sheet "Heat 2", etc.

Excel 2010 :: Looking Up Values Across Sheets And Return Not Only Value But Also Sheet Name

I am looking up the largest value across various sheets (1 to 99) with the following formula:

=LARGE('1:99'!$B$1:$B$50;$C3)

That correctly returns the largest value in range B1:B50 across sheets 1 to 99.

However now I want to know the sheet name of the value above in a seperate cell, let say in: A3.
I'm using excel 2010.
