CSV File In Excel Is Trimming Leading 0's

I notice that my csv list of addresses from the northeast area is trimming a lot of zip codes that atart with 0's. this is probably also happening on the address columns for some addresses or box numbers with leading 0s. is there any way to turn this function off?

I've been tasked at work with created a daily CSV upload file for a new system. Typically, the format the raw data comes in is .xls and very untidy (direct from SAP).
As such I have created a small macro which tidys up the spreadsheet, and saves it as a CSV. However, I have only just noticed that for the product codes we have which have a leading zero, the .xls file displays the leading zero without a problem, but in the resultant CSV file they are gone.
The macro I use, is as follows:

As you can see, it's very crude (I'm a complete nubie when it comes to this) - the Application.Run "PERSONAL.xlsm!CSV" is a small macro which puts double quote marks around all content of any populated cells in column B and the Application.Run "PERSONAL.xlsm!SaveAsCSV" is a small macro which saves the current sheet as a CSV file - code for those as below:

So, why the leading zeros are not in my CSV file, and how to get them back?
The line which I use to get the leading zeros is:
Selection.NumberFormat = "[>9999]000000;General"
And this is because the only codes which have a leading zero are 6-digits long. Could I maybe add a single ' to the beginning of each cell in column A to make them text, and thus keep the leading zero?
To confirm, the column which contains the product codes is column A.

I have a problem which may seem simple but is daunting for me.
I have a file in xls format that i need to import data from.
The problem is with column A, (e.g. 0233 45) if I get rid of the spaces I loose leading zero, if I keep the zero I cannot get rid of spaces. The thing is I need both conditions satisfied.
To summarize:
1)Import file and delete columns B and C
2)In column A get rid of spaces but keep leading zero (it's important to keep the zero where it exists, not add one). The length is different for each string in column A.

i cant do this from importing the data, so instead i have to try and fix it with code. I get a sheet of data from an external source that removes the 0's in the front of the number. Its only a 4 digit number so 21 would be 0021. Now i have been able to trap the data i think i would need. i created a =len() statement to tell me how many numbers each cell has. here is the code i think how it would work.. i just need a little help with filling in the blanks. I would assume its something to the lines of " 00+string value if it was 2 numbers needed.
B2 has the Len values (4,3,2,1 etc) and A1 is the original string that has the values.
So i want the code to add 1 2 or 3 zeros to the front of the number based on the len value.

I have a perfectly fine formula but whenever I try and use VBA to enter it for me it adds a leading apostrophe and it ruins the INDEX/MATCH with an RTE 1004.

I will be receiving a regular .csv file with data I need to manipulate in Excel. There will be a column of data, some of which has leading zeros. These are critical text data - in Excel it's easy enough to format a cell as text - but when I OPEN a new CSV, it assumes numbers and doesn't save them. When I change the format to text, it does not re-populate that column correctly - I'm going to have to catch it on the "open in Excel" command .

theres a column where all the cell values end in ".GB" or ".ES" basically a "." then 2 letters. Is there a formula to trim this off?

I've got a problem with a report that we need to manipulate in Excel. the report details the man hours each of our analysts has spent on calls and reports in the following format HH:MM:SS. However, the report comes out with a space after 'SS', so I need to trim this in order for excel to calculate total and average fix times. Cells are formatted to custom [H]:MM:SS.
With over 200 records requiring trimming per report, is there a formula that I can apply to this? I have tried =trim("Cell number") but this doesn't work.

I need to write a small macro (I assume it is small) that will go through each cell on a worksheet and in each cell, go to the first blank on the right and delete that blank and everything beyond that point. I can write a macro that trims at a certain point, but I am not sure how to have the macro find a blank spot that changes in each cell.
So just to be clear, say the macro goes to A1 and finds a word and several null spaces beyond it, like "Barn is red." The macro would go and leave just "Barn" behind. If A2, it would find "Dogs are hairy." It would leave just "Dogs" behind. Can someone help me with something like that. It has to be a macro rather than an equation as we do not want formula's int he cells.

I have many workbooks where Cols B and C and G and H all need to be trimmed of extra spaces, then concatenate B and C into Col D with a space between, same for G and H into col I. (If you hadn't guessed, these are first name and last name columns which need to be combined into one name.)
I have been doing this manually, inserting extra columns, copy paste special values, then concatenate, copy paste special values?

I have a credit card number problem where I am trying to trim the data so that I get rid of the spaces between the numbers (number sequence look like this: 5999 9999 9999 9999. This is currently formatted as text, and I would like to maintain this as text and not convert it to a number. The trim function can't seem to get rid of the spaces.

I have a scatter chart that is populated from the values on a worksheet. The series formula looks like this:

I really don't need all of those extra digits, at most 2 significant digits is all I need. I wrote a piece of code that looks like this to shorten each number but it is not working. The code runs and in the watch window I can see that each digit is indeed being trimmed and converted back to a number (vs. a string) but the chart series formula still carries all of those extra digits. What am I doing wrong here. The code I wrote is below.

I have a workbook with many spreadsheet named Sheet1, Sheet2 and so on. Each sheet is filled completely upto 65536 rows. This data is being picked up from a CSV file. In this file there are sites with each site there is a assciated set of data. What happens is the data that extracts data does not differntiate between sites and when it reaches to the end of worksheet it splits the data into next sheet. So I am trying to create a macro to check each spreadsheet starting with the last sheet in the work book for example last sheet in the workbook is seven it should go to sheet6 and if there is a blank row after row 64000 it should cut all the rows and move them to sheet7. Then it should goto sheet5 and do the same and keep on doing it until it reaches sheet1.

A co-worker of mine is exporting files from Quickpen as excel files, but every time he names the files with any Uppercase letters in the files name, they are automatically changing to all lower case. Even when he tries to rename the files, they will not stay with any uppercase letters....I have searched all over and cannot find a solution. If he sends ME the file, I can open it in excel and save it with any cases.

I have a macro-enabled template file in Excel 2007. I would like the user to be unable to save in any format other than macro-enabled. They should be free to choose a path and filename, but not the file type.
I presume this means some VBA code in the before save event, but I don't know what.
