I have a spreadsheet where I am trying to quantify which items meet certain conditions.
In columns J, K and L I have dates. Column M is an associated $ amount. Column N calculates the number of days between J and K and column O calculates the number of days between L and K.
I have to get the dollar amount for column N over 45 days and in column O the dollar amount under 120 days.
My formula for column N is =sumifs(M6:M1166,N6:N1166,">45") and for column O is =sumifs(M6:M1166;O6:O1166,"

I have a calculation that returns a result in F25 as a %. depending on the level of percentage I would like cell G25 to return >50% = poor, 50-65=average, 65-75=good and <75% = Excellent with the font being bold, red, orange, yellow and green accordingly.

In my Case Else, I have it set to take the Average of the values in cells M8 for all sheets other than the ones listed in my other Cases, same for M9, etc. for each worksheet I have.
The change I want to make is as follows: I'd like it say say if the value in Cell M8 is the same on all sheets then place x value in cell M8 on the active sheet, same for M9, on so on and so forth. Only if the values in Cell M8 for each sheet are not the same then take the average.

I currently have a userform which inputs data into two cells, the third then multiplies these two cells together, which is all honky dory. It works, 2 x 2 = 4.
But when i put 0.6 for example it really doesnt work. 0.6 x 25 = 25. WRONG. My code in the macro is fairly long winded but will paste anyway.

I have wind speeds and elevation data for 200 points. Each variable needs to go into a calculations spreadsheet on another worksheet. Once each variable gets put in the calculations automatically spit out the result. Now I need to use macro to automate this process so that it will repeat the steps I took for every line of data.
In English code terms, I want the Macro to say, take wind speed number and input in wind speed cell in calculations spreadsheet. Then take elevation number and input in calculations spreadsheet. Then take result number from calculations spreadsheet and input in cell. Then loop to go down the 200 lines of data. Is this possoble? Sorry for the non-technical wording.

I'm quite a novice at Excel. I have a column of values that I sum as follows;

0 <----------------sum of A1:A5
A formula may change one of the values in the above column to a '1' which means the sum will become '1'. The sum can only be '1' or '0' and only one value in the column will ever change. I need to add a value of 2 to another cell (say, C1) when the sum of A1:A5 changes from a value of '0' to '1'. I know this will probably involve the worksheet change event but am having a problem implementing it.

I have Column A to show the Project I am working on and Columns B-M show the months of the year with the figures under certain months. In Column N I just want to show where a figure falls under a certain month, I want Column N to show the month (header) that particular figure is under e.g. N2 should return a value of "March", N3 ro return a value "June" and N4 to return a value "April/September".

I need a formula that recognizes identical times then takes the difference between the altitude, lat, long of the two identical times.

I created a pivot table to try to calculate the difference but it cannot do it an a algorithmic type fashion like this. Then eventually I need to conditionally format it to if all three meet a certain criteria that it will put it in a separate chart only if all three conditions are met.
So if Ident (a334)-(a336) 500 1 1 (ex. of all three criteria being met [actual parameters not important but these values will be flagged in my conditional formatting])
This needs to then be put in a separate chart with all other data that meets all three criteria.
So the steps I need to perform this function:
1. Does Ident "x" equal Ident "y" time?
Yes: Take difference between all three parameters. Do all three meet Criteria?
Yes: Put all calculated info in separate chart if they meet all three criteria. Does Ident "x" time equal Ident "z" time?
Yes: Take difference between all three parameters. Do all three meet Criteria?
No: Generic Algorithim.xlsxEnd

How would I fix my formulas from not working when I filter other columns? It is a simple =A1/A3 cell and this calculation is down the full column. When I filter any column, the calculation does not stay with the assigned cells.

Each one of these rows represents an entry into a ticket in our incident management system. Col4 represents the method by which the incident was reported to us (Email, Voicemail, Walk In, Ask IT). A ticket can be open and closed with a single entry if the issue is easily solved or it can have many entries if the issue is complex and requires more troubleshooting or escalation to a higher tier of support. I need to determine the number of unique tickets submitted by each reporting avenue (Email, Voicemail, Walk In, Ask IT).

I am trying to sum certain values in one column based on the values of another column. I made a few tables, generated some random numbers, and then I started writing up an if-then statement to see if I could get what I am trying to do to work. However, I was having difficulty getting the program to run, because I was declaring more than one variable (I think).
So for instance, I want cells in column G to sum forces in column C when a joint in column E matches a joint in column A. Similarly, I am trying to do the same thing for columns F and B.
I have attached a picture, which shows what I would like for the program to do automatically (rather than me doing it all manually)! I didn't include the code I wrote, because it was so minimal

I'm currently working on a spreadsheet that contains 30,000 leads and their respective companies and i need to filter out any leads that work for companies present in a different list of companies (1,834 companies). Basically, i need to filter column A so that it only contains companies present in column B. Is there a way to do this using the advanced filter?

I have about 360 records in Column 1 and less columns in Column 2 (333 in this case). All the values in Column 2 are in Column 1. I need to be able to match those two columns up while keeping the data in Column 3 intact with it's corresponding value in Column 2. But my problem is that I have to tie in the values with column 3 to their corresponding values in column 2. In order to illustrate, I have attached an excel file in which I did the operation manually. I have a workbook with 20 sheets in English Language, but I must to translate in Russian. Translating has done by human translator, so translation is good. I must change phrases and words in english to russian. I can use find/replace function but doing by hand it's very tie consuming. I have a vba form with three comboboxes. The first combobox contains a list of employees, the 2nd a list of work activities and the third a list containing hours. As each employee enters the data for their name, activity and hours these values are saved to sheet6 starting at A10, B10 and C10. I want to be able to sum the hours for each employee who enters data. So the completed user form could look like the following:

Hi, I'm very new to writing Excel Macro's and wanted to know if I could do the following. Conceptually, I understand what I need done and think it should be fairly straightforward.
There's 2 main events in this loop (I hope that's the correct terminology):
Input 1) User defines the beginning cell to start the loop. In this case, A2.
Input 2) User defines the range of columns/rows to display. The formula for rows that I've thought of is 4r. So if a user wants 20 rows below cells A2, they simply input 5 for r. The number of columns is a constant 5. So if r=5, then I'd want the range to be A2:E22......

I require calculating difference between two columns. (Actual and Estimated).
Difference between these two numbers are calculated in third column, but it is reset every time actual number is non-zero.
Scenario:-
-Estimated Numbers are always followed by an actual number.
-After actual number is obtained, estimated numbers till that date will be added and deducted from actual number.
-After this, again estimated number will be added till next actual number is obtained for deduction.
If estimated number is not followed by actual number, then no need for difference calculation.
