I already used VLOOKUP in my Item Cost column to gather product price based on product name (Column A).
However, I'd like to ask Excel for an IF function that will do the following:
After using VLOOKUP to find item cost, IF Drop Ship Cost (Column H) is greater than 0, I'd like Excel to change my Item Cost (Column I) to 0.
The reason behind this is because there are 2 places I get my inventory from:
1.) My warehouse. But if my warehouse runs out, I get it from
2.) Another reseller who will drop-ship for me
Therefore, I'd only be able to get my product from one place or the other, not both places.

I need to search column (k) and (x) range (“K2 : K147”) and (“X2 : X147”) in (sheet1) for values >0 if there is, then copy from (“f : m”) if it is found in the (k) column, or copy from (“s : z”) if it is found in the (X) column, and paste value only to the next empty cell in sheet2 . Sheet2 is empty so (A) on down is fine for paste range. There is a spin button in the copy range column (L) and I don’t want that picked up in the copy. Manually I (paste text) only but I think (values only) will do the same thing.

A3 down is a list of country names and then B3:I71 contains the data im interested in.
I've been trying to create a function that looks at B3:i71 to see if any cell in that range contains a value greater then $0.00. If it does then the row that contains the cell with a value greater then $0.00 (between col A to K) should be copied to sheet MAIN from cells B3 down. This should ultimatley produce a list of data for any row containing a value greater then $0.00. This process should then be repeated on Sheet 2 and should join the list below sheet 1.

Jan 20, 2009I'm a business/application consultant for ERP software, and generally pretty solid when it comes to excel. However, I've come across a question for a personal sheet that I can't seem to solve.
In my personal budget worksheet, I'd like to set a budget on a cell-by-cell basis. When the budget is hit, I'd like the text color (or cell color) to change.
I.E. Cell D14 has a budget of $200. When I enter $200 in the cell, the text turns from black to red. I've searched through google with no luck. I have mildly searched this forum, but haven't found my direct answer - I have come pretty close though, in other languages

If it does, the formatting of the cell in X2:X40 (eg background) must change to match that of the corresponding cell in A2:U14.
Only 1 cell in the range will match 1 cell in the column
For example:
Before click:
Cell A9 has "John" written in it and a yellow background

During click:

less than 5 items they receive no discount
5-10 items they receive 2% discount
11-20 items they receive 5% discount
21-50 items they receive 8% discount
over 50 items they receive 10%
and it has to be done in a way that the discount rate can be calculated using Vlookup I am struggling to find the best way to write this table. i tried numbering 1 to 50 and writing the corresponding discount rate in the second column but this looks untidy and can't calculate greater than 50 as i am not sure how to write it in the cell so it reads as >50 and not just 50.

then it should change another cell on the same row to have a value of 0. Also i should mention that i need it to loop as it will be parsing through potentially thousands of rows.

May 22, 2014I have a list of text quotes in column A. I then have column B which will have a Y entered if the quote is used in a presentation. I currently have around 100 quotes.
On a separate sheet, I want to be able to effectively say in one cell - If column B has text in it, copy the quote from column A. But the difficult part is how do I make this happen so that I can have multiple quotes being pulled into one cell?

And just to make things more difficult i need the range E12:O12 to step 2 as well until it gets to E208:O208 .Noting that row 11 never changes and will always have either an "S" Or an "F"

Say theres 10 items and the heading starts at C4 and that heading has 10 items, so it puts "C5" as text in G1 and "C15" as text in G2 so i now know my cell range of items
How can i use the text in those cells to put in a formula to call that as a range?
If I use the indirect formula it shows me the value of the cell, but im after using it to reference the cell

To try to clarify a bit: If column A in the attached spreadsheet has a rating code of BB, B, CCC, CC, C, or CCC+, I want the Haircut % rate in column G to be 15%. It seems the code that I'm using changes the % rate to 15% if any "B" or "C" shows up in any part of the string in column A.

If any cell in col A has text "STATE LINE OR MOBILE 1" then the corresponding cell in col B should add a prefix of +91 to whatever number I enter in that cell of col B.
If any cell in col A has text "MOBILE 2" then the corresponding cell in col B should add a prefix of +911 to whatever number I enter in that cell of col B.
If any cell in col A has any other text then the corresponding cell in col B should be the same number as I enter in that cell of col B.
