I would like to check if there's a way to count the number of unique value with a given condition
Eg. condition where parcel count <> 0, also want to find out the unique value of district and postal sector

I need to count the number of unique text values in the first column given a condition in the 2nd column. For example, the formula that I'm looking for should give a result of "3" because it is an SME, and there are 3 unique companies that are classified as SMEs.

(I cant seem to make the tables visible but Company A and Company D right below the header should be in one cell) This should still yield a value of "3" despite having Company A and D in the same cell.
I need a unique count of the ID number. What I need is to check and see if the row has a number in it and if it is greater than 0 and is not blank. If the row has 0 in it, then that is not counted in the count. For in stance .....

I need to count the amount of unique values in a range, but only count unique values that also have a seperate condition. To illustrate with the 2 column dataset below....
Colour Letter
Yellow A
Yellow A
Green B
Yellow B
Blue A
Blue A
Yellow C
For this set of data i want 3 seperate cells for each 'Letter' telling me that, for 'A', the answer is 2 unique values (i.e. Yellow and Blue). For 'B' there is also 2 unique values (i.e. Green and Yellow) and finally for 'C' there is just 1 unique value (i.e. yellow).

Is it possible to count the unique entries in a range based on the results of a filter that has been applied? I basically have a column with 2000+ cells that contain some matching values and I only want to count the unique entries. This will need to be a dynamic count as well as the filter criteria can and will change all the time.

On each row I want to count of the 6 columns how many dates were unique and after 3/15/09. I've been using the following formula however it still counts a cell even if it's prior to 3/15/09. =SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(A1:F1,A1:F1)>3/15/2009,1,0)). I've attached a sample file for reference.

Goal: create a count of unique entries within a defined variable date range
I have a data table with duplicate values and need to count unique entries, the result of which will be used in a calculation. Due to a requirement to track the counts in a rolling 30-day period, the flexibility of daily selecting the date ranges is a necessity, which is why I chose to use DCOUNT and feed dates into the criteria cells.
I've been attempting to use the DCOUNT function but I'm not getting the correct result.
Oddly, after duplicating the table and formula on the "Count Repeated Items Once" page, even those results are incorrect.
It seems, too, that COUNTIF does not like (accept) dynamic named ranges. Hard coding the range into the formula yields a result of TRUE, but using a dynamic named range gives FALSE. Anyone else experience this and is there a work around (that is, if I have not erred in its use)?
How I can create a simple formula to count unique values/text within a range of cells that contain duplicates, blanks and errors?

I'm trying to figure out how to set up a macro which can generate a correlation table for each row. For instance, I would like for the macro to cycle through the row labeled 'List1' and record each cell value (B1, C1, D1, etc). Then, I would like to compare those values to the row labeled 'List2' to determine how closely they correlate. If List1's columns were identical to List2's columns, (order does not matter), I would want those two to have a correlation of 1 or 100%. If none of those two lists' columns match, I would want a correlation of 0 or 0%. In the end, I would like to only keep the List rows which are most uncorrelated with each other.
I have rows of data in excel that update automatically and i want to check in column B how many times there are simultaneous occurrences of a cell value and then if those occurences have been there for a time specified time duration using column C which has a time and date stamp. The time and date stamp is when the price is saved down.

What I would like the formula to is to count the occurrences of cell B that have been avilable for longer than say 30 minutes.
Formula that worked out the occurrences of cell B with this formula
=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF($B$2:$B$7="Buy",ROW(B2:B7)-ROW(B2)+1),IF($B$2:$B$7<>"Buy",ROW(B2:B7)-ROW(B2)+1)),1))
So if i wanted to count the simultaneous occurrences of "Buy" then the formula would result 1 and the same for sell if i changed the formula would be 2.
Now i want to try and get a way of using the time those occurrences were available for by using Column C
The simultaneous "Buy" was available from 09/05/2014 09:00 to 09/05/2014 11:01 which is longer than 30 minutes so i want to count that as a occurrence.
Then both the "Sell" were only available for 14 minutes the first time and then only for 20 minutes the second time so none of those would count.
I am trying to count unique values of the column tienda with the unique values of the column promo. Output expected below table.

I have a group of employees who work different divisions and work is not done everyday. I want to count the unique values of a division (only once) per day that the division shows up. Within a week, workers in a division might work 3 days and not other days. I've tried a few array formulas but they count unique within a range and I need the unique value to be based on the selected cell.

If I have multiple entries with different but repeatable text values in one column - how do I count all unique ones ? Is there a function or does it have to be a pivot table of sth ?

Currently column E is showing the values I would want the formula to return.

this will do a countif in column A if column B matches the value in column D, but would not weed out duplicates for me.

Have numerous values in Col A. Col E extracts a list of unique values from that column.
In Col C, the Col A value has had characters added to it.
Need a formula to count the number of unique values from Col C which contain the same prefix from Col A, and place the result in Col F.

So I have one sheet that needs to pull data through to another sheet (which is a stats summary)
I have a drop down list containing 4 options all of which have to be counted separately on the stats summary sheet. However I only need them counted when a value is input in another cell in that row.
For example: I select option 1 from down down menu, but I only want this to be counted on the stats page when I enter a date in the "date" cell.

I've got the array formula:

I have a conditional cell that change color or not if condition...OK so far. Now, how can I change the color of a range of cells when condition is in just one cell. Ex:
If C15>=150, change (C3;C20) to yellow.
I really can't find the way to do it.
I need to count all unique entries in column A (list of names) (this bit I can do!)...however:
Column B gives each name a value of A or B, I need to count all unique names with an A and all unique entries with a B.

This would give a count of 2 for A's and 1 for B's.

In D2:D11, I want a non-duplicate list of all the "1" names, i.e., Bob and Josh. In E2:E11, a list of all the "2" names (Sally, Bill & Jacob), and so on. Sorted would be nice, but not necessary. When new names and their numbers are added to A1:B200, they need to automatically show up in D2:G:201 as appropriate. I've looked over VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, etc., but all seem to simply return the first and not every match. Maybe I'm just missing it.
Is this possible without VBA? Not that I have any objection to it, but delving into and learning it is a little outside the available time I have now. If it takes VBA I'll address it when I can free up some time.
I am trying to find out how many weeks our current inventory will support our sales. I am trying to research formulas that will do this, and coming back with things like OFFSET, MATCH, INDEX but am not certain the best way to put them together to get what I need. Starting in cell B4, I would like to count how many weeks of Demand can be covered by the specific Available On Hands in row 3 for that week, put the number of "Weeks Covered" into cell B2, and then fill over to the right in row 2. Right now, the values in row 2 are from my own manual calculations, but I would like a dynamic formula that will sum up the values in row 4 up to (but not greater than) the value in B3, give the count of cells that reached that sum (or even better with decimals to show the percentage covered), which I will copy over into B3:B13. Not sure if that makes sense, or if I can explain in a better way. The yellow cells are what I am trying to create a formula for and am currently stuck.
