I'm looking for some VB code that will enable me to dynamically create Textboxes for every value that I have in a range.
Example date in range B2:B5:
apple
banana
orange
pear
I would want the macro to create 4 Textboxes on the active worksheet, each one with the text contained in the range.

i have created one text box so that user enter the data to search by giving Message code. My concern is

If the user enter 789 in the text box, and click on te search button( On user form) then it should dynamically create displays 2 occurance in each text box.i.e if the 789 found in 1 col then it should create 4 test boxesto display Program name data and 4 text boxes to display Error Description side by side. if not text boxes if will be if we display in lables also.
Is there a way to create objects dynamically? for example, I know that I need to many create objects of a class, but I don't know how many objects I need before hand. Does VB allow you to create objects on the fly? If so, how can it be done?

I have been able to get round it by adding the buttons to the top of the form (non- dynamic) but I'd really like to be able to create them dynamically based on variable for other parts of the project. How can I produce dynamic command buttons that actually work?

See the attached example. I have data listed as shown, but need the chart to automatically update whenever a new sales figure is added to the next month. I know you have to use the OFFSET to create dynamic ranges but I can't get it to work horizontally, only if my data is laid out vertically.

I need a userform in which the number of controls are determined by the some values in the worksheet. The users of the workbook must be able to add new controls to the form, so I do not know the number of controls in advance. I therefore can not create the userform through the design module but must create it through code instead.
I need a userform with a number of comboboxes and a commandbutton, which when clicked sends the content of the comboboxes to the first empty row in a worksheet.
My problem is that I can't assign any commands to the comboboxes (which are created at runtime), nor can I use the values of the comboboxes in any commands assigned to other controls in the userform (e.g. the commandbutton).
I have read as far that I probably need some form of class module to create the controls at runtime, but since I am relatively new at VBA, I'm having trouble getting the class module to work in connection with the userform.
I am looking for a solution to dynamically create named ranges according to the contents of cells in a particular column. The following code works for 1 word names, but in many cases the title cell contains numerous words separated by spaces. Is there a way I can adapt this code so that it will name the ranges with the spaces removed? For example, where cell C2 contains the narrative 'Sales Ledger Control', I would want the range name 'SalesLedgerControl'.

The named ranges are referred to in numerous other worksheets, where selecting a particular narrative from a listbox creates a dependant drop-down in the adjacent cell (eg if Sales Ledger Control is selected, the dependant list contains names of customers). FYI, the data validation in the other worksheets ignores the spaces in the range names, ie: =INDIRECT(SUBSTITUTE(G2," ",""))
It would not take me long to name the ranges manually, but a macro is preferable because the narratives in the title cells will often change and the range names will obvioulsy also therefore change.
I have a userform that has one combobox at the top created manually. When the userform is opened, the user select an option in the combobox (these options are taken from a range on 1 worksheet). From the selection of the combobox, I use the comboxbox's change event to create and display 5 columns of textboxes and 2 columns of command buttons on the userform.
The number of rows of textboxes created depend on the option selected from the combobox since each option links to a different range of cells. Each of the 5 textboxes in each are set to be ".enabled = False" and display text as per the cell values within a range on another worksheet. 2 Columns of command buttons are created at the end of each row of textboxes - 1 is enabled and the other is not.
The creation of the textboxes and command buttons works as required. However, I am having problems with setting click events for each command buttons. When the 1st column of Command buttons are created, I need the click events to be created and filled out with 2 actions:
1. Enable all textboxes in the same row as the command button
2. Enable the other command button in the same row.
Here is the code I have so far that creates the textboxes and command buttons.
Each of the 5 textboxes and 2 command buttons have a unique name so the 1st row will have textbox and command button names of cTxtA1, cTxtB1, cTxtC1, cTxtD1, cTxtE1, CmdAmend1 and CmdConfirm1. The 2nd row will have the same names but with 2 on the end and so on. The bold sections is the code for the creation of the command buttons that I want click events for.

I don't know if anyone has tried this but it possible using vba to create a new folder in a directory from the text of a textbox?
I have made a userform that I use to collect a persons first name & surname.
I then created a folder in a directory manually (e.g Z:spnzphotos)
I then scan their photo and place it into the folder.
Is it at all possible to have a piece of code that once I press a command button is creates folder ready for me to add the photo to?

sometimes i'll have some text i want to show in a userform textbox. let's say the text happens to be in a sheet named story, and it is in A1 of the worksheet.
A1 says, for example:

if the note above were on a web page, all you'd have to do is click on 'here' and you are off the the next big thing. but so far, when i use this code to bring the text in story!A1 into the userform textbox all i get is the text. there is no 'clickability' as it were.

I want to do is have a User form that allows a user to add a new column across several sheets (i.e. b2, then c2, then d2) where what the user has selected from 3 defined ranges (in this case commodity, pack_type and pack_spec) is concatenated. see the example attached. So for exmaple, I would like the choice of adding into cell B2 across all sheets (except sheet pack) gold solid 5kg. Then I can add the next into c2. I have tried searching few a few examples of userforms with various problems but I dont know how to code it correctly.

There are too many to create them all in advance and make them visible when needed. The sample attached, from this forum, is good, except, the numbers in the text box just scroll along and I need to see all the text typed into my textboxes. If i = 3, this gives me in TextBox3 (which is called TB3) the text 'TB3' and not the value of what is in TB3. It has got to bo something simple, I just can't see it!!!

Here is my code, it does a vlookup and if the persons name is not found it will split the text entered into forename and surname but when i try and add

I have a form that has three fields (1. Comments (TEXT), 2. Legacy_Comments (TEXT), 3, Comment date (DATE))
Now my users need to keep adding comments to the comment text box, and when they do it automatically adds the date they entered the comment in the Comment date box. Now my problem is that since they keep adding comments to the comment box, I need to keep track of these comments in the Legacy_Comments (Text box).
For example, the First time a user enters a comment into the (1) comment text box it auto populates the date in the comment date box, and then adds the comment and date to the Legacy_Comment box. the end result is (comment,4/3/2014 now lets say a user needs to add a comment to the comments box tomorrow - I want the legacy_Comment box to then read (comment, 4/3/2014; comment2, 4/4/2014, ...., comment(n),date(n)) OR it can be vice-verse, because I just need to keep track of the comments, I am not worried if the new comments are before or after older (yesterdays / the day before yesterdays comments)
How can I write a VBA code that will always add the new comment to the legacy_comment field, without deleting the comments that were entered previously?

It adds the comment only the first time, but it does not concatenate the string from yesterday to the string to today. I do not care which order the comments are, meaning if I added a comment today it can be before OR after the comment from yesterday.

What I'm trying to do is to use the same form for 10 different levels (floors) of a building. Then on page 2, I'll itemize the values for each floor. So the combobox determines which floor the calculations are for; txtOccupantLoad is the total of all incremental occupant loads on that floor; and txtOccLoad_L1 is the first of a series of textboxes on page 2 where the value for Level 1 should go. If the combo box shows "Level 2" then I'll write new code for the txtOccLoad_L2, and so on. I've also tried including "page1." and "page2." after "me."
I am trying to create a user form that has a series of text boxes that will all have a VLOOKUP function in them based off of input from a the first text box. If I can just get the code for the first one, I think I can figure out the rest. We will say that the file that the user form is contained in is 'Agent Administration' and the file that I want the VLOOKUP to pull from is called ' Roster for Auto Population'.

I have a list of about 3,000 names and places of work, in two columns. What I want is to have the place of work in the first column, and then all the employees along that row.
There must be a simple solution to this, but I have been banging my head on my desk all morning trying to work it out. All the places of work are sorted, if that makes any difference.
I have a cell range of L3:N3 on Sheet 1 and on Sheet 2 in A1 i have the value of N3 of Sheet 1.
Now, if I move L3:N3 to eg. R10:T10 I want the value A1 ( Sheet 2 ) to be updated to T10 ( Sheet 1 )
Right now, it wont update dynamically, value of A1 stays at N3...
